My wife and I were looking to remodel our kitchen and remove a wall to open it into the living room. We were very nervous about being on a fixed budget and so we contacted many contractors. Specialty Remodeling's founder, Leo, came personally and gave us by far the best presentation out of the 10 contractors we interviewed. We almost immediately knew we would choose him although we completed every other contractor interview. What makes Leo different is his genuine love for the work and his confidence and willingness to be up front, provide 3D renderings for free almost immediately after meeting and under-promising but over-delivering. Throughout the process of construction, work basically never stopped. Weekdays, weekends, he completed the job in under 2 weeks when every other contractor was saying a 3 week job would basically be a miracle and 6 weeks was the expectation. Leo is dependable, honest and just has a good energy we did not get from any of the other contractors. In particular, to honor the agreement we had made about being on a fixed budget, Leo did a full half day's work that he did not charge us for because that had not been part of the original deal we shook on. Our kitchen remodel project started on June 26 two weeks prior to the project we met with Leo the owner/contractor. Not only did he provide us with excellent customer service he educated us on different aspects of a kitchen remodel. I want to give kudos to his team. From his demolition team. The electrical and plumbing team. To his cabinet installing team. The painting team, the general team, plumbing flooring, etc. everything went very smoothly like a well oiled machine.
