Then when I asked why I couldn't order directly from the website the salesguy said "Can you keep a secret? If so, I can drop the price even more just for you just don't tell anyone else...." Specialty Graphics is horrible to do business with. Last time we ordered from them, it was pens that goobered ink all over the place. They sent me more to replace the ones that were bad...new ones were worse. They have been told not to call, but maybe they don't understand English unless there is a dollar sign involved. They call every 2 or 3 days, sometimes a number of times in a day. We tell them we are with a customer, but they will not hang up. "Just give me two minutes of your time" they say. We repeat, we are with a customer and they argue with us! They use a cell phone with a local number to fool you and it is never the same number. Everything they do forces you to be rude to them! Made the mistake over 2 years ago, of getting samples from them (which were absolute garbage), and have been on their call list ever since (literally they call every 6 weeks or so). Specialy Graphics calls with some frequency (at least once a quarter) to hawk customized pens, coffee mugs, keychains, etc - the kind of items you'd give out at trade shows or to customers. They can be aggressive, but also rather friendly, and I have bought some pens and flash drives from them with my business name engraved on them. Every order has arrived as promised and they charged only what they said they would charge. I have have found the service useful. They now use Caller ID, so you can ignore them if you don't want to take the call. read more

I got a call from these guys for the first time yesterday while I was on the road. After reading all the reviews on Yelp, I am confident I am writing about the same company - Specialty Graphics as they introduced themselves as I was told on the phone, NOT Stellar Graphix as they are trying to claim. Yes, hard sales techniques and won't take no for an answer. I asked them to provide me with their website or send me a photo of the pens they were selling before I would make a decision. Dash (or Cash) just kept dropping the price or adding more to the quantity. He started at $269 for 100 pens, and came down to $239 for 150 pens until I hung up. Got another call 6 hours later from the same phone number so that matches up with what everyone else is reporting about this company. After waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes, DAVE cussed me out dropping the F bomb and what not because I was a little late due to traffic (about 10 mins) They make you yell when you speak the script and every little syllable must be on point. They continued on with the conversation by trying to convince me to keep them. I tried to compromise by saying I would send the package back, and review other products of theirs that may interest me. I received a call from 602-384-2918. The person (Patrick) talked fast to the point I can barely understand him. When I told him I was not interested, he asked if my doors were still open in an obnoxious manner. I first called the company and briefly explained I wanted to talk to the sales manager about a less than pleasant call and they wanted to send me to the sales manager. I said that either they give me to the sales manager or the president or I would contact the BBB. I spoke to the sales manager for this business at the Phoenix location and spoke to Arnold who is supposed to be the sales manager. I gave him the name Patrick who called me and he said they have 400 sales people. He wanted to know the caller id which was on my cell phone and I honestly was not about to hang up and look it up. He said I could do that or he could end the call. Seriously? I ended the call and am sharing the experience here. I will also post on Yelp and contact the FTC to share this companies business practices. There is no need to be talking to potential customers like that. Why is this company still in business. I own a small business in Phoenix and have no staff, so every minute that I spend on the phone with a telemarketer takes away from my time to conduct my own business. Poor business practices should be included as "firsthand customer experience". It was still an interaction I had with this business. Yelp deleted my first review due to "lack of firsthand customer experience" but I would like to point out that my "firsthand customer experience" with this business was extremely poor; so poor that I am writing ANOTHER review! They called multiple times seeking purchases for promotional products and when we asked to be removed from the call list we were treated like idiots by "Richard" or hung up on REPEATEDLY. We haven't received anymore calls from them after talking to "Jessie". Even if I didn't make a purchase, my review should be considered to warn other potential consumers for poor service which happens all the time when I read other reviews. With such a lack of care in evaluating who they hire, how could I ever justify purchasing a product from them in the future? Throughout the past weeks I have been receiving calls from SGI on a daily basis. The last three times, however, are the only last times I have made it to my phone within seconds to answer them. So many more phone calls end with me being hung up because their "customer service" quality ranks so low that the sales people barely allow the phone to ring once before moving onto the next number. The first person I was able to talk to provided me with a script as all are scripted. Despite the man being professional and a hard seller, doing his job, I did not like the way their scripts force the sales people to act as though you have talked to them before or that they have a new product. I have never given them permission to call me back when they have a new product but all three people state I have (all three also called with different "new" products). So the issue was not with the first guy, as much, but with the second and third person I talked to. Yesterday, March 19th, I politely told the woman I had already been contacted and had stated I was not able to take part in purchasing any of their products. Before I was able to finish that sentence, the older woman hung up on me. A simple, "sorry to bother you again" or something of that nature would have been polite. I am not asking for much but asking for a person calling me for money to be polite. Today, March 20th, I received yet another call from SGI where a southern sounding man started going into his script. I again politely stated I was already contacted and not interested. However, before I could finish that sentence, he interrupted me and said, "well your doors are still open ain't they?". I told him they were but I was not able to make a purchase nor interested and for him to have a nice day and take me off the calling list. He ignored me and started into his script again and I stated, "buddy, I am being nice to you and I would appreciate you being nice to me; please put me on the do not call list." At that point, he stated in a sarcastic tone, "we will be sure to call you back when we have a new item" and hung up the phone. I called, as I did yesterday, the SGI office in Phoenix. Yesterday, they told me I had to give my number as customer service did not accept incoming calls but later let me talk to a guy who apologized for the actions of "single caller". Today, same apology and excuse of how they cannot monitor every call. Sadly, if they actually monitored their hiring officials, this problem might not be so bad. He was able to inform me that the callers were not able to place a number on a do not call list. Something I find rather hard to believe seeing I use to work in a call center raising money for University programs. I would highly recommend that you do not give your business to a place that cares little about their customers and only wants their money. Apparently a repeat customer is not something they find valuable. If the only thing that can be said is a few bad apples exist, they have a few bad apples as 2/3 of the people I talked to were extremely rude. Not only that but their products are more expensive than where I now order from and the ones that are cheaper, are "cheaper" indeed. Note: For those who assume I am getting calls at a business number, it is actually my cell phone they are calling. Looks like a lawsuit in the making as being registered on the national do not call list seems to mean nothing to them. read more

This is one of the rudest and most unprofessional companies I have ever come in contact with! They called our business several times a week, finally my husband gave in. The first person that called ( and took the order ) was very nice, a little pushy but not bad. The 2nd person to represent Specialty Graphics was Amanda, she called to verify our order. 1st call left a message 2nd call I answered, she asked to speak with my husband I told here that he was with a customer could I help her or take a message? No I have already left one, he can call me back and hung up before I could say another word. 3rd call from her.... I saw who it was on the caller ID and handed it to my husband, I told him this call was for him, it was Amanda from Specialty Graphics, & she is RUUUUDDDDDEEEE! He rolled is eyes and answered the phone, the call went great til he asked when or how would he receive his tracking number, would they email it or call him with it? She said no, you will get an invoice then 3 weeks from that. He then explained that he was paying COD so he needed a tracking number and if it was going UPS then they would have one. She then told him that it would be 3 weeks from today, so that would be ABOUT the 1st, so just go get it then and if they come before then, they will try another 2 times.... He then told her that no, we receive shipments and they come from all over the world EVERY single day and they are delivered through UPS, FedEx, and USPS, why can't they provide a tracking number? Because we just don't, was her answer. My husband told her that she was being very rude, she told him no she was just trying to help him. He told her that in fact she was rude to him and to me the day before. When I recanted our conversation, she said well I have already left a message and didn't want to waste "our" time. My husband then told her, yes you are correct we don't want to waste your time either, so cancel our order. The only thing she said was OK. He called back to talk to a supervisor, we both swear that it was the same lady, he asked to speak with a supervisor she hung up, we called back and by this time my husband had, had enough. He explained everything to her she apologized and took his name and phone number, so now we are waiting to hear back from someone but from what I have read on here, well good luck in finding someone who really cares... I got a call today from a very nice girl Victoria wanting to sell me pens. Having been in phone sales in my day I recognize the canned responses and a written script. I have no problem with that at all. Phone sales is for people who don't mind rejection. I get 5-10 calls a week from people trying to sell me stuff. Most of the time I listen to the pitch and see how good they are. There is always something to learn if your willing to listen. As for today each time I objected she worked hard to get me back to saying yes. Now she did have a somewhat silly excuse for trying to sell me pens and I had no interest. However I am in the market for other items. I explained to her that I had Zero interest in pens but would be interested in other items. She ignored what I was saying and went back to the pens. I again said I'm not interested in pens but would be interested in other items. Items that would work for my business. I asked for her contact info so I could call back and specifically asked about magnets. She said she didn't know about magnets but she was gonna cut me a break on the pens. I told her that I'm not interested in pens but if she gave me her number I would call her about other items. At this point I explained to her that I do NOT make quick decisions from people I do not know and I was not buying today PERIOD! I again asked for her contact info and he response was "Your not from Kentucky are you? Because you have some horse trading skills." And if I could keep a secret she was going to take another $15 dollars off my order of pens. It was at that time I hung up. What was painfully clear to me is that this company has either not trained its people well or didn't care what would work for my business. So now they will not even get a chance to earn my business. This is my first Yelp review. but I bought a small business a year ago and I think the previous owner probably placed one order with Specialty Graphics. "Tim" calls quite often, and always starts with the same "everybody likes a bad joke" line - even though I have told him I have a very good friend who owns a large promotions company and that Specialty has 0% chance of getting my business. I have tried to be kind - told him I understand he is trying to do his job, but is completely wasting time with me. He is always courteous, but continues to call and launches right into his sales pitch for the latest promotion even though I now interupt him and tell him "as I told you in the past, you have 0 chance of my business. I made an online purchase with specialty graphics and found I wanted to add more to my order. I emailed with no response. I called at 11 am to find a rude customer service agent that then hung up on me while I was silent looking through emails. She never asked if I was still there, she just hung up. I called back to have her argue with me. Over their policies. Ever point she had I found contrary information on their website. I talked to a manager that claimed to be the company owner. He had the same disposition. They were only interested in telling me to place another order with them so that could charge shipping again at a higher premium. Probably the worst customer service I have seen. This was my first and last order with them. They try to almost force you to use over priced shipping saying that USPS will take longer to get time sensitive orders to you. I can't speak for quality of product or shipping speed. But I can speak to their customer service. In my business I need to rely on awesome customer service. Very few issues come up but when they do they should be dealt with in a pleasant manner. read more
