Mario and the crew did a fantastic job on removing and replacing our run of 6ft privacy fence. Due to rain the night before they were not able to start at 9:00 AM which led to the project being pushed into the next day. This wasn't a big deal, it just meant we couldn't let our dogs out into the back yard. They set the post and then framed the rails and built the fence plankby plank instead of using pre-created sections. We couldn't be happier with the build quality. After the work was complete, they cleaned up all of the old fence and removed it as well as any waste from the build. I liked the little detail of caps on all of the fence posts. Best part of all of this was the price. We had 4 quotes for this job done from other fence contractors and some from day laborers with us buying materials. Specialty fence beat all quotes and by a significant amount. The work includes a 10 year craftsmanship warranty too. Highly recommend their service! read more

I got a fence installed from them not even 8 years ago for my little dogs, I paid over $6,000 and my fence post have come out of the ground over a whole foot! I had a 6" fence installed and now it is over 7" making it over a foot off the ground meaning my neighbors huge pit bull can just walk under my fence and eat my little dogs.. they were extremely rude, took almost 2 weeks to get back to me. Im gonna be building a new home and I will Definitely be looking for new company since they said fences don't last that long.. yea right.  Save your money and go to a better company who will stand behind their product. read more

I wanted to support a family owned business and I really liked the person that came out so I selected specialty fence. 1st issue was there is no communication updates after making 50% deposit in June, the week before labor day JULIE marked my yard so I thought okay they're finally coming. No fence, I called and for two consecutive weeks I was told they were coming on Wednesday and when I called Elisa would laugh and tell me about what issues they encountered. Finally they scheduled installation on Friday 9/23. Of course JULIE hasn't marked so I had to make calls to get this reconciled so that the date wouldn't be pushed again They showed up only tear down the existing fence, no discussion with me if this was acceptable and it wasn't bc I have pets and a pool and didn't want the liability. After talking to Elisa at length she said they would install a temporary fence (see photo) i would have preferred they waited until they could complete the install before removing the fence for an entire weekend. They came back in Monday to install, my yard is pretty tore up from the equipment (see photo) there are clumps of dirt everywhere as well as my patio. They finally complete about 7pm. They promptly send and an invoice on Tuesday for payment, the first link didn't work, they resent on Wednesday and I paid The final inspection was done Thursday with corrections required, the gate post are wobbly, there's excessive dirt everywhere and the slates aren't all fully attached (see photo) Elisa email me that it would be 2 -3 weeks before they could come out. WHAT? I'm really hoping race didn't play a part is the callus service I am receiving because the other reviews and pics are wonderful. My experience was anything but. read more

The worst service in the industry. First they started a month and a half after taking my down payment. They had no communication to when they would come out until the day before. When they did come out they started to put up the fence in the middle of my back yard, they measured incorrectly and told us to calm down and they would put the dirt back. Really? So now I have 5 huge holes in my back yard and how they thought to remedy the situation was to throw some grass seed on the dirt and leave. I would NEVER suggest this company to anyone. They take your money, string you along for weeks not giving you any information on when your work will be done, and then give you attitude when you try to get the work scheduled. I've never worked with a company who refuses to tell you when the work is scheduled for. And then they when they do schedule you, the week of, they tell you youre another month out. They lied to us on multiple occasions about multiple things. And then they try to steal from you when they offer a refund. Worst company I've ever worked with. Specialty did a great job replacing two gates and an entire 150' of fence on one side of our yard. They were quick, courteous, and though they made a minor mistake in the placement of one of the gates they remedied it immediately after we told them about it. I don't know where to begin but stay away from this company. The workmanship was far from "highest standards" as their contracts guaranteed. You'd think that after the owner had to restrain an employee who threatened me with physical violence, that they would honor their guarantee but that has not yet happened. I am still waiting on them to honor my warranty claim. In hindsight I should have probably taken it as a red flag when the owner pretended to not be the owner when he was on site for the initial work and I was calling their office with contract related questions. read more

Specialty Fence was hired to install a wood privacy fence. Their rep was told and shown where the fence was to go. Their lead installer put a 62 ft. section where HE thought it should go instead of where I, the homeowner, wanted it and was paying for. In a meeting with the owner, who turned out to be the lead installer, I was told if it was that important where the fence was installed, then I should have painted the lines for them. They refused to correct their mistake. The crew sliced through the AT&T cable line, even after they had been told to hand dig a few of the post holes. They left empty water bottles strewn about and nails and chunks of wood on the ground. I was told if given a good review the company extends the warranty, so a good review may just mean someone was trying to salvage something out of making a horrible decision in hiring this company. read more

Specialty Fence is, in a word, "a-mazing". I have employed them on two properties, fencing in .33 acres each time. The result on both properties was flawless. Elisa, who manages the office and answers the phones, is responsive, personable and reliable. Mario, who is the owner, was equally as responsive and kind. We had an incredible team of workers, led by Domingo and Diego, who constructed our second fence during the coldest days of this year. The conditions were absolutely miserable. Not only did Specialty Fence deliver on all promises including the short timeline, but the fence is absolutely beautiful and its integrity is completely intact. We chose a split rail with wire reinforcement on the inside. I have three large dogs who will find any tiny hole they can get their paws on; needless to say, they've found nothing and have been quite happy to frolic in their gorgeous yard. I don't plan on moving anytime soon; however, I wouldn't even consider employing another company or even getting a comparable estimate from some other fence company.
