Despite my request and despite clearly needing health precautions, he refused to wear a mask. Keep in mind that during an eye exam, he would be breathing on me from mere inches away. For someone with a semi-medical degree to ignore the science so blatantly and put his own patients at risk is inexcusabl, immoral, and unprofessional. He's a disgrace to the term 'doctor.' Fortunately the other optometrist, Dr. Frannsem, cheerfully wore a mask. Tamara, the woman who helped select frames with me was perfectly willing to put on a mask. If I could rate her separately, it would be five stars! She obviously cares about the patients, and was enormously helpful in finding exactly the right frames for me. Bottom line: if you can't go to another optometrist and have to go to Gregory Optical, make sure you make your appointment with Dr. Frannsem. Even if you don't care about your health-care provider masking up, obviously Carter is in it for the money and not for his the health of the patients.

I accidentally put a steak knife through my thumb and knew I needed urgent, but not emergent, care. I held firm pressure on the cut and drove myself the 19 miles to IEP. From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. Lucky for me, there was no one waiting. That NEVER happens, especially to me! But Heather checked me in and made me feel so much better about my situation. There was a sign stating that there was only one practitioner working that day, but truly, I was seen in no time, by Ainsleigh, PA extraordinaire!!! She made me feel at ease, as I had never had stitches before. Before long, I was out the door with four stitches and an updated tetanus shot, happy as a clam that I had chosen to come to IEP.
