What upset me the most was watching my son cry after getting hurt, and instead of showing concern or compassion, staff looked at him, walked away, and laughed with another coworker. As a parent, that was heartbreaking and completely unacceptable to witness. No child should ever be treated with such disregard, especially when they are visibly upset and crying. Throughout the visit, my children both older and younger were watched excessively, which made us feel targeted instead of welcomed. As a Black family, the treatment we experienced raised serious concerns about bias and discrimination. I fully understand the importance of safety rules, but rules should be enforced respectfully and equally for everyone. Families come to these facilities to feel safe and enjoy time together, not to feel humiliated, ignored, or judged. I will be contacting the district and administration for both facilities to formally report these experiences and seek accountability. I hope steps are taken to ensure no other family or child is made to feel this way again.

As a result, I ended up facing significant financial hardship and ongoing billing issues. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering a membership to carefully review the cancellation and renewal policies before signing up.

There are many changing rooms, (including changing rooms with infant changing tables in them) and plastic bags for wet items. Anyone can sign up for swim lessons, from babies to adults who need help learning!
