I paid $45,000 for Mark Carlisle Home Improvement to install a Trex boardwalk and dock on my…read moreproperty with a 5 year warranty for workmanship. I have had the deck for about 2 years now and am having a lot of trouble with it. At first my outdoor lighting that was on the boardwalk and dock started giving me problems. I had my lighting guys come out and they said all the outdoor, all-weather grade fasteners and fittings that they had put on were no longer on and causing all my problems. It turns out Mark Carlisle's crew who took the lights off to install the new boardwalk and dock threw those good fasteners and fittings away on the ground and replaced with cheap indoor fittings after I specifically told them to keep them and use them to put the lighting back on. That is the smaller problem. The big problem is that I was told the Trex fasteners were not available so they used screws to fasteners the Trex and now I am ha ing problems with warping and keeping the Trex secured. This is a tripping hazard and creates an unsafe condition. When i brought this to Mark's attention, at first he said he would replace the Trex and have the lights fixed back to original and now he is not doing that when we have a written 5 year warranty on the work. It is very disappointing and will probably have to go to court. Very unprofessional work done by the crew and a total disregard for the warranty that he guaranteed. I recommend not using this contractor for any home project as the crew did a terrible job and the person is completely dishonest. Avoid yourself the headache.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Ray was supposed to lay our tile flooring at a 45 degree angle…read more(diamond pattern) and this is the flooring he thought was acceptable as a "professional". Our bathroom remodel turned into a nightmare and this was the last straw. Please do not be conned by this sweet talking, God fearing couple. They are not as experienced as they try and portray themselves to be. They offered to fix the flooring but wouldn't give us our money back to fix all of their MANY mistakes and to complete the bathroom remodel ourselves. All trust was broken to the point that I wouldn't even trust them to give me the heimlich maneuver if I was choking. I would be better off dislodging the object myself!

Review Date: Mar 13, 2025…read more After experiencing repeated delays with another roofing company in Forsyth and waiting nearly two months without receiving the necessary scope of work for HOA approval, I decided to move on. Total Roof exceeded my expectations with their prompt and professional service. They inspected my roof the same day I called and quickly provided three repair options via email. Within just four days, they coordinated with my HOA and secured project approval. One of the options was to convert the metal over to shingle. Since where the metal meets the shingles was where it leaked in both areas. I opted to convert it to shingles. This saved us nearly $11,000 vs replacing all the damaged metal areas. Total Roof foumd identical shingles down to the same brand, ensuring a seamless match. Their crew worked efficiently, removing the damaged sections and completing the job in a single day. They also documented the entire process with photos, showing me both the damage and the completed repair. I am highly satisfied with their workmanship and attention to detail, especially in cleaning up afterward. I highly recommend Total Roof.
