Worst job ever. I went through Heaven's Glory because a "friend" worked there and had been working…read morethere for a while. So I thought they would know what they're doing. I was wrong. I paid around $6,500 to have my house repainted (including scraping, sanding, caulking, and repairs to water damaged trim). First of all, the crew smoked so much weed while working that the neighbors complained. They barely scraped any cracked or peeling paint. Sanded nothing. So now a year and a half later, I have multiple code violations for cracked and peeling paint from the city. No care was taken to mask off areas that weren't supposed to be painted. They sprayed my gutters, garage door, gas meter, mail box. They missed areas all together. Spilled and run off paint. They painted over stained woodwork and bricks. Trim was only painted on one side. I thought they were going to finish the back and sides the same. So after they got paid they never came back. I didn't really want to tell a friend that this was the worst job I had ever seen. So I ask him multiple times to come out and finish the sides and back. "Antonio" keeps telling me he is busy and will come out when he can. This goes on for a while. I get a new ticket for cracked a peeling paint from the city so I message him again. This time more aggressive. He acts like he doesn't know what I'm talking about. First they don't do trim. Then they did do the trim and it's white. Then later that they only do the front and the sides cost more. So "Antonio" does stop by the house and we talk face to face. I walk him around the house and show him everything. He gives me his word that he will come on Sunday and "make it right". The night before he messages me that I will have to pay more for labor and that the back and sides weren't included. Basically pay more or I'm screwed. Any way I didn't want to bad mouth anybody but a couple of crank heads could have done this quality of work. And for a lot less money. My main contact was Antonio (which isn't even his real name) but Mario and another guy were there and did the same trash work. And scare me for trying to support a friends business. Pictures attached.

I would expect a much better result and better customer service. I will say they did a good job on the basement. Took us awhile to scrape their muddy footprints off the floors.

The owner told me that if I find it cheaper to let him know. Even though I know nothing about this stuff, I'm not an idiot. I know my project shouldn't cost $2800-- that's crazy. In fact, I've had two other reputable companies tell me it's only a $500 job! What kind of honest business treats their customers that way? Beware. Do your research.

We hired J&B Landscaping for Spring cleanup in May 2026. This included tree pruning, mulch…read morereplacement, redesign of front landscaping by our front door and a backyard berm for privacy. The front porch landscaping turned out great. Beautiful edging, well‑chosen plants, and clean mulch work. That part of the project really impressed us. The berm, however, was a different experience. No notes were taken during our walkthrough, so we constantly had to redirect the crew. The work felt rushed and not well organized, and there was clear miscommunication between Josh and the person doing the installation. A spike was driven through our sprinkler system, the berm had to be redone, and the sod wasn't laid correctly. We had agreed on specific trees and shrubs, but the ones planted were not what we selected. The arborvitae have never looked healthy despite countless hours of watering. Unfortunately, even after trying to work with the team, there wasn't a good solution. We truly value supporting small local businesses and hope our experience becomes a learning opportunity for J&B as they grow. They have real strengths, especially in front‑yard design but better communication, note‑taking, and planning are needed. We want future families to have a smoother experience than we did. We wish J&B Landscaping the best as they refine their processes and continue building their business.

They not only quickly assured us that they wouldn't cause any damage, but took photos and promised our driveway would look better than they found it. They completely lived up to their promise and then some. Aside from the good work they did on our neighbor's house (new sidewalk, retaining wall, foundation repair and slope with French drain for water runoff), they also did an amazing thing for us... they cleaned our driveway, cleared it completely, and seal coated it 100% for free. It looks brand new, and me it honestly looked pretty rough before they fixed it up. It was so unexpected but so awesome that I had to share it on Yelp. I feel like it's really easy to find companies that don't do things the right way, but based on this experience I would 100% book them if we had something come up. They had no connection to us other than using our driveway and went above and beyond.
