I used this company for my wedding this weekend. Corresponding with Steph (owner) was difficult, as she is a full time mom. This was completely understandable, and it seemed as though things would go smoothly as we made our edits and submissions via email. Everything was verified numerous times because I did everything in my control to ensure all things would go as smoothly as possible. However, when it came down to delivery, everything fell apart. The delivery was almost 4 hours late and because of this we had to set everything up in the dark. The delivery included a couple broken chairs, broken glasses, stained table cloths, and a broken arbor. The delivery was also incomplete, missing our 4 foot sweetheart table. They came back two hours later to drop off the table, but instead it was a whiskey bar that we did not order. When we corresponded through email for several months prior to my event, it was agreed that the company would provide assembly of the arbor. When we requested set up from them, they refused, saying that they weren't told that that was something they needed to,do, and that they were very busy so to cut them some slack. We paid for an arbor and assembly, and instead we received a broken arbor that we had to set up ourselves. As we started to set up, we also realized that it was missing a piece and missing screws. I tried calling Steph to let her know we required additional assistance. We didn't plan on having to build anything, and didn't have tools, extra screws, or anything. She let us know that they did all that they could and at that time of night they couldn't help us. But like I said, they were almost 4 hours late, so had they been on time, maybe our problem could have been solved.... We had to drive to the nearest hardware store 40 minutes away the day of the wedding to buy screws to build the arbor. I think it wasn't a big deal to her because we were one time customers. Weddings are one time, or usually, anyway. So why go out of her way to ensure that she fulfill her agreed upon obligations and make sure that her staff is filled in on customer requests? To be safe, it's a good thing review sites exist. Here's the kicker: After everything was said and done, and they were late picking everything up as well, a day later, she had the audacity to tell me she was missing linens. Overall, was it the worst possible experience? No. Did everything eventually work out? Yes. Steph was nice enough to work with and I'm sure she has genuinely good intentions, but nice doesn't guarantee that you'll get what you paid for. read more

When the white wooden chairs arrived they were dirty and some of the seats torn. We had to clean each chair fairly vigorously to get them clean. Stephanie is also very hard to communicate with. I texted to confirm order 2 weeks before. Her response was slow and made me very nervous. She responded and said all was good an invoice would come. I had to ask a again and again for an invoice. The total was more than initially quoted Stephanie had not included tax when we first ordered. Stephanie explained she appreciated patience as this is her busy time of year so she included extra items ( August). I had dealt with her in the past in January and she was just as unorganized then as well. She also offered an excuse for being hard to reach and being unorganized. Stephanie also told us the pick up would occur on Monday or Tuesday so we made arrangements to have a breakfast for those who stayed over after are event (35 people) When the chairs were dropped off, the delivery guy told my husband they would pick up 8:00 am following our event. Understandable as we had only rented for 24 hours. However, we made plans based on what we were told when we rented the tables and chairs. I attempted to contact Stephanie to arrange a later pickup. I would have been happy to pay an additional fee. I got no response. They picked up at 8:00 am. My guest ended up standing up since we only have a few chairs. I was fortunate to have my own linens and banquet tables. I will not be renting again from Stephanie. I will pay more and go to Celebration in Olympia to get better service and maintained Equiptment that they provide. read more

Her prices are good but her attitude towards you as a bride is the worst. She was so hard to get a hold of and acted like she had no time and always so busy. She messed up on the delivery date. I would not do business with her in the future. read more

So here's what we ordered for my wedding: Chairs Tall tables Napkins Flatware Charger plates Chandelier Drink Dispensers And THANK GOD nothing else. I had much more to the order, but cancelled due to finding friends I could borrow from, etc. First, Steph is INCREDIBLY difficult to communicate with. Even setting up a time to view the inventory and locating the place was difficult; I should have anticipated the same would be true in regards to the order. Though she was slow in responding to questions regarding the order updates and the delivery time was incredibly ambiguous ("sometime Wednesday or Thursday" makes planning on when to be at the venue difficult), they eventually arrived and dropped things off. Kind of. They came Thursday but forgot the napkins and flatware. The delivery guys know nothing of what's going on (no fault on their part. Not their job), which meant in order to receive the rest of our rentals, we had to email Steph. At the time, her phone had no voicemail system set up. And emails elicited not a single response. Oh, and what was dropped off: the chairs (some had the seat screwed in upside down and were unusable. Additionally, they were two different types, so didn't actually match); we ordered 5 tall tables and received 4 tall, one short; the charger plates were the wrong color, but we ultimately decided to use them; the drink dispensers were COMPLETELY wrong--the only dispenser option she had that I absolutely hated, and, coincidentally, were much cheaper than the ones we had already paid for. We received no correspondence from the company whatsoever, but came back to the property after the rehearsal dinner to find the napkins and silverware placed on a table in the open. I had ordered a pretty large, black embossed napkin and elegant floral looking flatware. What was on the table were small, black and white awful looking napkins that looked like they'd belong at a low budget prom, and flimsy, cheap, cafeteria-style, patternless flatware. We sent NUMEROUS emails to the owner, and thankfully at this time a voicemail had finally been activated, so left voicemails from various people. Nothing. It wasn't until after my mom threatened to report the company to the BBB that we finally got an email back saying she'd check inventory when she arrived at the office in the morning, when she arrived at 7:00. Now, we're at the morning of the wedding. At 9:30 (2.5 hours after the "inventory check") the owner's husband just shows up at the property with stuff. He brings with him replacement silverware (still not what we ordered, but at least patterned) and replacement drink dispensers. These were also not what I had ordered and one had a broken lid, so in it's place was an ugly hunk of cork. Either way, they were better than the other options, so we made it work. Still, no napkins. He said he didn't know about the napkins and that he'd send someone within the hour. He asked what time the wedding was, but we wouldn't disclose since we needed the napkins ASAP as they were part of the centerpiece for the table. ONE HOUR BEFORE THE WEDDING (and almost SIX HOURS after we were told ONE HOUR, and for all they knew, after the wedding had started), plain black napkins arrive at the wedding venue. Not the pretty ones I had ordered, but again, better than the wannabe prom eyesores. Overall, I was a calm bride. It poured the whole morning of my outdoor wedding and I didn't stress. People were stuck in traffic and there were issues with the flowers, caterer, and normal wedding blunders. None of it stressed or worried me. I only had one stress the whole weekend and that was Special Event Rentals. Not one part of our order was actually according to order. I was breaking between my wedding photos to see if I had centerpieces at the tables at the wedding guests were beginning to show up at. The only upside was we received a refund for some of the stuff. But that felt very much "it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" like. If you want rental items for an important day, you order and pay for what you want. Not to get sub par service and inadequate merchandise but money back later. Had I not had the help of so many friends and family, every part of the wedding that involved this company's services would not have come together. read more

Steph is a busy lady, but she created the perfect atmosphere for my daughter, Austin's wedding! Everything turned out so much better than I even imagined. The tables, chairs, linens, plates and glassware were beautiful! The lounge area she created was so much fun for the DJ area. Steph delivered and picked up everything. She has a keen eye for decorating and was full of suggestions, which I was very happy to hear. I met with her several times and each time I never felt pressured or rushed. She was a joy to work with! Terrible customer service. Would not recommend. Wedding was called off and consequently, the reception was as well. Left numerous calls/messages/emails and not one returned phone call. Had to contact the food caterer who recommended this 'business' to help intervene. Finally got a phone call, but am still waiting for refund. Very unprofessional. No contracts, only e-mails. Once they got the deposit ($3000) they went radio silent. There was no mention of cancellation fees or anything like that. They're not professional at all and hide behind voice mail and e-mail messages that go unreturned. Will be notifying better business bureau and Seattle TV stations consumer advocates to spread the word on these scam artists. Daughter is devastated enough as it is with the cancellation of the wedding, these people are just prolonging the agony that she is going through. I would not recommend them at all. Poor, poor way to run a business and horrible way to treat customers. read more

Stephanie has done several events for me! She is busy but I believe that says a lot about her reputation. She is always willing to suggest and think outside the box to create something new for each of my clients. Always delivering ahead of time, not always is everything on the truck but she always accommodates what she can several days early helping the clients enjoy a stress free set up process, and additional items come 24 hours prior to venue. My clients I refer to Stephanie have more than once praised her flexibility her one on one attention to answering their questions and giving abundance suggestions. I was dishearted to find a few poor reviews but I will say this if you only get 1 poor review out of the several hundred events you do MISS STEPHANIE then keep that smile on your face and we are so THANKFUL you do what you do!! read more

I have been communicating with one of the reps for this place for a couple of weeks, and we decided to use them to rent a dance floor for my wedding. After I told the rep, Chris, that we would give them our business, he said he would email me an invoice or rental agreement. A week later, no email, no phone call. I call and his phone is turned off. I call the main number and leave a message. Still have not heard back. Now I go to Yelp and every review says these people are impossible to communicate with. This is very true. After reading the other disaster stories I am glad to find out before I gave them money that their prices and products actually are too good to be true. Now I have wasted a month attempting to communicate with them and my wedding is coming up soon. read more
