I've gone to multiple consultations with different orthodontic offices around the DMV finding prices so I'm very familiar with how these consultations usually go. I also spent a lot of time looking through their before and afters and felt like I could relate to some of the cases, which made me feel confident I'd be a good candidate. Unfortunately, that didn't end up being the case. What isn't clearly explained is that they mainly handle minor cases, not more complex ones. I have a crossbite, edge to edge bite, and short roots on only the front 2 teeth, so I understand my case isn't simple, but that limitation should be made clear upfront. I took a day off work for the first time in over a year and drove an hour to get there. Dr. Reza was very kind and professional, but some of the staff came off a bit short and distant. It was busy, which I understand, but the overall experience felt rushed. Another thing that stood out to me was during the x-rays, I wasn't asked to remove any jewelry or given a protective vest, which felt dangerous and honestly a bit unprofessional considering I was right in front of an x-ray machine (twice.) I was told my only option with them was to only fix my front six teeth, not my full bite or molars. I seriously considered it especially when I asked if that would significantly reduce the cost, Dr. Reza said yes. However, when I sat down for pricing, it ended up being even higher than what's advertised online, just to treat those six teeth. The teeth whitening surcharge cannot be taken off confirmed by the consultant. But I did love that there is a lifetime warranty for $25 for a loss or broken retainer after the retainer program is paid for (adding $500-600) to the bill. I even asked if pricing was based on each individual case, and I was told no, that the pricing is set based on what's on their papers. That didn't really sit right with me, especially after being told it would be reduced + what's online. When I asked if I could speak with the Dr.Reza again to the pricing consultant after he stepped out, I wasn't able to since he was across the room. So I feel like some of my questions were left unanswered and felt lost in my journey again. If you have anything beyond a minor case. I would honestly steer away and look into other options. This seems better suited for simple, easier cases. They need more transparency about what they can actually treat and more consistency. Edit: I also requested my X rays after my consultation, which I usually do at other orthodontic offices, and was told there is a $25 charge for them. I've never been charged for this elsewhere so that felt a bit off. I told the lady I wasn't going to argue about it, but it just added to my overall experience.

I needed a new dentist and I randomly found this place searching on my health insurance website…read more I'm actually really glad I found this place not only are they SUPER friendly they are right by my home and it is the quickest drive ever! SO GREAT!! They moved to a bigger space literally two building down and it is very nice as well. I came in for a cleaning and then they discovered a few things. Since then I'm glad they have been making sure I have the best and more reliable work done. My favorite thing besides the kind and professional service was the fact after my cleaning they put Vaseline on my lips. Honestly, that was the greatest feeling ever. Not only are your lips very dry when they are operating it's nice they thought to do that. I've never had anyone put Vaseline on my lips before, I was truly amazed. I will say that's the biggest reason why I stayed and will forever be a loyal client here. I already recommended this place to a few people and told them my experience. There are only women here as well and I am the biggest advocate for women in business. They all seem to be close and family orientated. Great location, great service, overall excellent experience.

I still can't speak about the BOTCHED dental job (veneers) I got on May 22--and it's exactly two…read moremonths later--at Laurel Smiles for $7,152!!! I loved my smile BEFORE my veneers! I had bonding for 40 years and had gotten a small chip, so I had a small gap again, which I wish I would've just kept! Dentists don't want to do bonding, anymore, as I guess there's not enough money in that. I keep wishing I could go back because I HATE MY TEETH NOW!!! I am someone who smiles constantly; now, I keep my mouth closed as much as I can. I had a small overbite, which I discussed with Dr. Cooper asking how the veneers would affect that. Three dentists, including Dr. Cooper, had expressed that my two front teeth were "too big." I love my teeth and have had 40 years of compliments about my smile! Dr. Cooper said she would do four veneers and make the two front teeth a little smaller and the other two slightly larger. After almost 6 weeks of a comedy of errors (wrong veneers sent twice, one the color was too dark (but probably not), the fourth and final ones in my mouth--I have two HUGE front buck teeth, a HUGE overbite (I'm so uncomfortable when people can see my teeth from the side), and the veneers are a TOTALLY DIFFERENT COLOR from my natural teeth!!!!!!! Oh, my veneers were EVEN BIGGER than they are now--I had Dr. Cooper shave them down!! I CANNOT EXPLAIN HOW I FEEL!!! I am having the veneers removed and ortho (Invisalign) because I can't even take a chance of another botched job! I paid $1500 for the ortho as that's what I was told at the other dentist office to get started. Turns out I need to pay another $3500 for a total of $5000 for them to do the gum surgery, temporary veneers, and ortho fitting. I just paid $7152 at Laurel Smiles, which brings me to $8,652 I've now spent. I can't afford to pay anymore right now, so I'm stuck with these HORRENDOUS things in my mouth until I can afford to get them removed and do the new treatment. On top of that, I will now be forced to wear a retainer in my mouth four nights a week for the rest of my life!!!!! If you're getting all veneers, maybe you'll be okay. If you're not, KEEP LOOKING FOR ANOTHER DENTIST!!!! I CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW I WISH I COULD TURN BACK TIME!!!! OH, THE REPAIR JOB--JUST UNDER $15,000 WITH A DISCOUNT!! Oh, I also do not bite into anything! My veneers are so thick, and my teeth don't meet like they should, and I'm afraid they'll pull off and split my gums!!
