Nice office in a good location. The owner was the dentist for the area sports teams (Caps, Wizards) for many years.

I went to this dentist for 3 years. I stayed mainly due to the convenience of location relative to…read moremy home and I'd forget to find a new dentist by the time 6 months rolled around for my next cleaning. I was immediately turned off from the office on my first visit, when they wouldn't allow me to brush my teeth in the office and suggested that I go to the public restroom outside of the office, due to sanitary reasons. Let me reiterate that they would not allow me to brush my teeth in the office and directed me to a public restroom. The office was not clean and very dusty (see pictures). Dr. Lipscomb was not impressive either. It never seemed care. He often came in after my cleaning unprepared. He wouldn't remember my last visit or our previous conversations about my dental care. When I said something about it, his dental hygienist tried to save him by stating that he has a lot of patients. He often put off treatments (like removing glue from my braces that he found) until the next visit. The technology and office equipment seems really dated as well. The dental hygienist that used to see me no longer works there. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name. She had a really sweet demeanor and was the only reason I was able to tolerate continuing as a patient with this office. My last visit was the final straw. My visit for a dental cleaning was less than 30 minutes. A new dental hygienist (a young man) did my cleaning. He had no chairside manner. He did not introduce himself or talk to me or even explain what he was doing or how it may feel. He "cleaned my teeth" and did not rinse my mouth or give me mouthwash. My mouth did not feel dentist-clean when I left. I didn't even have a minty taste in my mouth. Dr. Lipscomb made a quick appearance at the end of the cleaning and I was out in less 30 mins. The one positive thing to note is the office has mastered seamless text communication to notify one of visits and procedures for coming into the office for appointments.

I started going to Dr Lipscomb back in 2001 when he first open. I watched how he grew. The staff…read more& the office space expanded. And I've never had nothing but the best experience. I referred my mom & dad. Then my daughter started going too. I might be a little spoiled & maybe entitled but I feel like I've never had better service & communication. And I will continue to refer him to anyone.

Dr. Harmon and his staff are nothing short of amazing! I am currently a little over 2 years in my…read moretreatment and I should be getting my braces removed and gum trimming very soon. Dr. Harmon and his staff are always friendly, efficient, personable, and professional. I never have to wait longer than 20 minutes even when the office is jam packed. Dr. Harmon's office also sends me reminders of my appointments and without them, I'd be lost! When I started treatment I suffered from a deep overbite and crowding on both my top and bottom rows. Now, my teeth are close to perfect and my entire smile has changed. Did I mention his prices were reasonable? Kudos to Harmon Orthodontics and their amazing staff and practices. I couldn't have chosen a better orthodontist!

The front office staff needs training. No other way to put it. I called to reschedule an…read moreappointment and the person who answered the phone 1. MUMBLED the name of the office and then 2. Proceeded to put me on hold to 3. Finish typing out her work on the computer. I know because she didn't actually put me on hold, just threw the phone down and I heard all the typing. Then after 6+ minutes, she picked up the phone and hung it up... So I call back and had to give her all the information I just told her minutes before. " I am calling to reschedule my appt" her: "What is your name?" I give her my name... and then she says " ok, you're all set." Ma'am. We didn't reschedule anything yet. Pay attention to the customer calling on the phone and put your work to the side for a second. This happened every time I called, so then they gave the option of texting the office. Great! But they don't answer the text for days. You have to send multiple texts. Their ortho work is good but that front office staff needs customer service training. It's really bad.
