Dr. Taylor is very professional and explains in detail what dental work is required and the future care.

So I hate that I had to come back here for this, but the most outrageous thing happened. I got an…read moreabscess in one of the roots that this dentist worked on. Nothing to be up in arms about, UNTIL I SAW THE XRAYS. JEEBUS LORD. There was a crap root canal done, first of all. Mossy importantly though, there wad this weird, cockeyed SCREW (like, aaaaaan actual SCREW) in the root bed. That was what the enormous and righteously painful abcess had formed around. What the ACTUAL. My new dentist was dumbfounded. Super professional, trying not to speak poorly of a cohort...but he went to explain it and had nothing. Spo hee redid the root canal (yaaaaaaaaaaay!), removed the rogue hardware and now I'm dandy. But over a grand more poor, and as a single mom that blows goats. Needless to say, I do NOT recommend this guy anymore.

Doctor Granger is wonderful and has changed how I view dentists. I despised going to the dentist…read morebefore because I always knew that I would be in pain. However, after having both a dental bridge, a root canal and multiple fillings, I can say that the dentist no longer terrifies me like it did before I came to this office. I still dislike having my teeth worked on, but knowing that I won't be in pain while i'm having my teeth done is a great comfort. Doctor Granger is calm, gentle, has great chairside manners, and truly cares about how you feel while you're getting your treatments done. He checks in to make sure that you're not in pain while he's working on you. He takes time to answer any questions that you might have before and after the procedure. He is realistic, kind, and does not hurry you along. His office is minimalistic and cozy. The receptionists are always friendly and greet you warmly. His assistants are outstanding, gentle and take the time to get to know you on a personal level. If you're someone with dental anxiety, you can rest assured that Granger and his assistants will be conscious of your fears, will assure you that YOU'RE the one in control and can stop if you're uncomfortable, will provide you with sedation if need be, and will make sure that you're not in any pain.

I went to this dentist for 3 years. I was immediately turned off from the office on my first visit, when they wouldn't allow me to brush my teeth in the office and suggested that I go to the public restroom outside of the office, due to sanitary reasons. Let me reiterate that they would not allow me to brush my teeth in the office and directed me to a public restroom. The office was not clean and very dusty (see pictures). Dr. Lipscomb was not impressive either. It never seemed care. He often came in after my cleaning unprepared. He wouldn't remember my last visit or our previous conversations about my dental care. When I said something about it, his dental hygienist tried to save him by stating that he has a lot of patients. He often put off treatments (like removing glue from my braces that he found) until the next visit. The technology and office equipment seems really dated as well. The dental hygienist that used to see me no longer works there. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name. She had a really sweet demeanor and was the only reason I was able to tolerate continuing as a patient with this office. My last visit was the final straw. My visit for a dental cleaning was less than 30 minutes. A new dental hygienist (a young man) did my cleaning. He had no chairside manner. He did not introduce himself or talk to me or even explain what he was doing or how it may feel. He "cleaned my teeth" and did not rinse my mouth or give me mouthwash. My mouth did not feel dentist-clean when I left. I didn't even have a minty taste in my mouth. Dr. Lipscomb made a quick appearance at the end of the cleaning and I was out in less 30 mins. The one positive thing to note is the office has mastered seamless text communication to notify one of visits and procedures for coming into the office for appointments.

Proceeded to put me on hold to 3. Finish typing out her work on the computer. I know because she didn't actually put me on hold, just threw the phone down and I heard all the typing. Then after 6+ minutes, she picked up the phone and hung it up... So I call back and had to give her all the information I just told her minutes before. " I am calling to reschedule my appt" her: "What is your name?" I give her my name... and then she says " ok, you're all set." Ma'am. We didn't reschedule anything yet. Pay attention to the customer calling on the phone and put your work to the side for a second. This happened every time I called, so then they gave the option of texting the office. Great! But they don't answer the text for days. You have to send multiple texts. Their ortho work is good but that front office staff needs customer service training. It's really bad.

Dr. Harmon was amazing but should seek staff that actually wants to work. When I go to my regular dentist they run my insurance while I was there and had a price list of my services by the end of my appointment. It took over a month just to get the consultation.
