The only downside was the limited food options. Inside the market, there were really only two choices: a chicken spot and a pizza place. We went with the pizza, and the pizza itself was really good. Unfortunately, the wings were extremely disappointing -- way overcooked and over-seasoned. Pro tip: there's a Wingstop literally right outside in the same parking lot. We will absolutely continue coming back, just unfortunately not as often as we used to. We were regular Thursday night customers because we absolutely loved Music Bingo. My husband, my two daughters, and I would come together as a family almost every Thursday. It became something we genuinely looked forward to each week. Thursdays used to be packed, sometimes so crowded that it was hard to find a seat. There was such a fun atmosphere, with different tables bantering with each other, laughing, competing, and getting into the music. We enjoyed it so much that we even brought prizes for the host to give away. It was more than just playing bingo; it was the whole experience and energy of the night. Unfortunately, since the new Music Bingo host took over, the experience has completely changed. We even tried talking to him about it, and he told us that as long as he is running Music Bingo, he will never use the app and will continue doing everything on paper. He uses the same card for the entire two-hour game, which means that even if you arrive late, you essentially have no chance of winning. That takes away a huge part of what made the game exciting and competitive. I do want to be fair and say that we know he also hosts trivia on Tuesdays, and we actually like his approach to trivia. His style seems to work well for that format. Unfortunately, that same approach just doesn't seem to vibe with Music Bingo. Music Bingo needs a different kind of energy, interaction, and flair, and sadly, that has been missing. The host has also been rude to us when we've tried to discuss our concerns, which has made the experience even less enjoyable. The difference in the Thursday night atmosphere is very noticeable. Thursdays used to be packed and full of energy, and now the place is often nearly empty. The fun atmosphere and camaraderie we used to look forward to are simply gone. We understand that he runs the game on his own and is entitled to run it how he wants. At the end of the day, though, the format and the overall vibe have changed enough that our family no longer wants to make Thursday nights a regular part of our week. That's especially disappointing because this was something all four of us genuinely enjoyed doing together. We are still giving The Brass Tap five stars because the restaurant itself, the food, and the rest of the staff have always been fantastic. We will definitely come back for those things. We just won't be coming back as often for Music Bingo. Hopefully, at some point, Music Bingo can become the fun, lively, interactive experience it used to be. We would love to have a reason to look forward to Thursday nights again.

I actually made a Yelp account, just so I could write a review about this BBQ. We visited a few days ago. This some of the best Barbecue I've ever had and I consider myself a craft-meat expert. The Brisket was melt-in-your mouth perfection. Their pulled-pork was a bit on the dry side, I didn't care for it. But their hot links, pork ribs and tri-tip and chicken are perfectly roasted as well. I just wish there was more of it. Not to say that their portions aren't huge to begin with, but with food this good, you can't really get enough. On top of the really excellent quality meats, I also have to say that I love the sides. While I didn't find the Coleslaw to my liking, because it is vinegar based. I did like the mac/cheese and the cowboy beans were amazing, my wife ate most of them. I think I only got one bite. We loved the peach cobbler. Whoever baked that peach cobbler really knows what they're doing. The staff was incredible. Even during busy times where there is a line, they were always kind and quick. The servers are especially courteous and helpful. The young man, Wyatt? talked to me with great respect and kindness. I appreciate that. The cashier, Mandi was extremely friendly and has a clear sense of hospitality. I felt completely welcomed and treated like family. The young man with the cowboy hat needs to stop eyeing my teenage daughter, but is very well mannered. The very tall gentleman might be the most polite and friendly person I've ever seen working in a restaurant. The bald gentleman really made me feel welcome, the first thing he said when I walked through the door was "Hey! Welcome!" With a big smile on his face. Made me feel great. The food was great, the staff was beyond reproach, the atmosphere was very western, like you're walking into a saloon, but also very welcoming and hospitable. They don't have beer, which is really the only downside to this place. if they had beer, I'd live there if I could. There is something about this place. Like there's an invisible intangible bubble of fellowship that makes you feel like the staff aren't there to earn a paycheck, they're there because they belong there. Its really cool to witness the fellowship that exists among the staff members. They treat eachother like family and then to see that reflected in how they treat their customers. While I was waiting for my food, I watched how they talked to and treated other customers. None of it feels forced, like these people are just being themselves and they love serving their customers. I love this restaurant. I love the staff and I love the food. I cant recommend this place enough. Also, I think they have wifi, even though there is a sign that says they don't. read more

"From the moment I walked into Prohibition BBQ, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance of the place instantly gives off a warm, welcoming vibe that's perfectly matched by the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff. The cleanliness and organization of the restaurant were immediately noticeable, underscoring the care and dedication they put into their establishment. Now, let's talk about the food - because, ultimately, that's what we're all here for, right? I had the pleasure of trying the tri-tip and chicken, both of which were cooked to perfection. The tri-tip was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of smokiness that you look for in a good barbecue. The chicken was juicy and succulent, with a beautifully seasoned exterior that left me wanting more. As for the sides, the beans and coleslaw were nothing short of fantastic. The beans were rich and hearty, with a depth of flavor that complemented the main dishes perfectly. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, providing a nice, refreshing contrast to the smoky meats. Together, they rounded off the meal beautifully, leaving no doubt in my mind that Prohibition BBQ knows exactly what they're doing when it comes to delivering a top-notch dining experience. In summary, my visit to Prohibition BBQ was an absolute delight. With its exceptional food, pristine cleanliness, and outstanding service, this place is a gem that I cannot recommend highly enough. If you're in Norco and looking for an unbeatable barbecue experience, do yourself a favor and check out Prohibition BBQ. It's a decision you won't regret. Five stars all the way!" read more

Going through the reviews, one such comment caught my attention from "Kristen V." who suggested that she hopes this restaurant goes out of business all because someone was rude to her. She must be the type (leftie) where they think the entire world revolves around them. The reality is that this BBQ is family owned, the owners are excellent and wonderful people and their food is great. It may not be perfect, but its always consistent and the portions are great. if you want a family owned BBQ where everything is hand-crafted and the customer service is welcoming and inviting. Then I highly suggest this place. They do support first responders. They do support veterans and they do support the right to refuse service to anyone they choose, including entitled snobs like Kristin V. who thinks a family owned business should cease to exist, because someone was mean to her...oh boo hoo. This place is amazing and I will continue to come for some of the best Texas style BBQ i've ever had, being a Texas native. On a personal note. Hoping that anyone goes out of business because they were rude to you is a reflection of your character, not the restaurant's right to serve their community. read more

I've been a loyal customer for years, but my recent experiences have been incredibly disappointing. This last visit was the by far the worst and led me to write this review . Despite having three staff members on duty, we waited so long to even be acknowledged, we actually saw other customers leave due to the lack of attention. When we finally got our food, it was subpar for the price we paid. The sauce bottles were both empty and filthy, trash was overflowing, and employees were hanging out outside in the parking lot instead of working. This used to be a place we looked forward to, but now it's just a huge letdown. read more

I am new to the area but not new to smoked bbq. So I had to try the brisket sandwich. They had a BOBO offer on Facebook so bonus I got 2. Sliced brisket, a cheese sauce, a vinaigrette slaw, pickled red onions, and dill pickles topped this sandwich on a nice bun. Happily, someone immediately responded and gave me that night's location, Evan's Brewery in Corona. My drive to the Eastvale address would have been in vain. It's a rented commercial kitchen, not a store front or residence. They do not sell here. I am always on the hunt for a really good smoked brisket. Albert's smoked meats are beyond reproach. He is gifted, providing a product that is moist and delicious. The wood he uses for smoking is one I could never get tired of. I ordered brisket meat only, hoping for a few slices, forgoing the bread and sides in an effort to avoid all the carbs. So what I ended up with was only a small tinfoil packet of meat, well chopped. The Hubs ordered a pulled pork sandwich with Cole slaw and baked beans. It came with a small container of their bbq sauce, a very sweet version, on the side. Due to rain, Evans Brewery had graciously opened up their lobby to the Ochoas for setting up their operation. We had expected to bring our food straight home regardless, but there did happen to be a few places we could have plopped ourselves down and ate inside. Once home, we took a good look at what we had spent $42 for. These portions were certainly not intended for anyone who sports a large appetite. Fairly recent pictures of their menu indicated I would be purchasing a half pound of brisket. It was not, more likely around 5 oz. Mr. B's cole slaw and baked beans sides were unremarkable, and sadly, the bbq sauce was overly sweet. This left us with very mixed feelings. While I really loved my brisket meat, and Hubs also said he liked his pulled pork, the smaller servings stunned us, and the sides were unimpressive and meaningless in the scope of things. I figured we were paying close to $60/lb for our meat. I admire the energy and passion they have put into their business. But as nice and friendly as they were, the great tasting meats were not enough to draw us in, and the fact that they are relatively expensive for an informal, seating-less pop-up, left us feeling torn. Just my opinion, but would we patronize them again? Probably not.

And then there are the smoked rib plates--ribs so succulent and packed with flavor that they'll have you debating if you've just discovered the true meaning of BBQ nirvana. But the best part? I also hope they can maintain their food quality and consistency without compromising their ingredients simply to increase profits. I'm happy to support a restaurant that seems to care about serving good, wholesome food.

He went through the entire menu, including the special meat options they have on the weekend, and took the time to show me how much a pound of the meats I was interested in looked like. That is exactly how I want to be treated when I am going to be spending a bunch of money at a restaurant. Alejandro was amazing and was so so friendly. He said he was a manager, but give that man a raise! He is the best front line person to have working for you and I hope you guys treat him well! I ordered: Tornados Picahna steak Tri Tip Brisket Ribs Chicken Everything was so good! The tornados are bacon wrapped jalapenos but my goodness they were spicy. Super different because there was no cream cheese, and the inside filled with meat was delicious! The brisket was also toooooo die for, it was so tender and fall off the bone delicious. I would highly recommend this place for your next gathering! It was expensive, but what quality BBQ place isn't? Will definitely be back!

The team that was here was fantastic and very supportive. They made me feel welcome in this restaurant and created a great, family atmosphere. It feels different now, like all the joy has been stripped out of the place. It doesn't help that there are security cameras everywhere. I don't know if those were there before but they are EVERYWHERE. Feels like I'm being watched throughout the restaurant. Just a weird vibe now. Food is still good.

I can see why this has outstanding reviews. We arrive and the food service could not have been any better. Fresh seafood. So unique and so flavorful. We have taken vacations in so many deep parts of Mexico. I can compare this seafood to those places!!! Maybe even better than most. The tortilla chips are super fresh. We started with the ceviche divorciado w/ beer. The fish and shrimp was so tasty! Not too tangy at all! One of the best ceviches I have ever had. My husband ordered tacos gobernador (3) fish, octopus, shrimp. All tacos did not disappoint. I had the green chile chicken enchiladas w/ salad, beans, rice. I am not a beans person but these beans (I think they had chorizo in them). They were just so good. The sauce and chicken were perfect. Genuine flavors and very authentic! We loved everything! The food here is amazing at great prices! Maricela was our server and super sweet. She made sure we had a great experience. She checked on us constantly. Very accommodating. Best service and good people. If you are from the area, stop by here! You are missing out! We will definitely be back!

Came with 2 corn bread balls, they were ok but one was soggy from the oil they deep fried it in. Kids got fried chicken and Mac, both were just bland. Wife's burger was ok. Like I said I really wanted to like this place but the meat just missed the mark. Portions seem a bit on the small side too. I'd be open to give them a second chance and if my opinion changes I'll update this review. But for now...2 stars.

They were very attentive and kind. They played "Las Mañanitas" for my mom, provided a big plate for us to put our cake on since the tres leches cake I brought had spilled a bit, and were constantly communicating with us to check when we wanted to cut the cake so they could help bring out the plates and utensils. I kept asking the waiter for little things, such as whether they had a candle I could have or borrow, and never once did they make me feel like I was bothering them. They were super kind and patient with us. Food: The food was 10/10. This is coming from all of us who are used to my mom's delicious Mexican cooking. It's hard to find a Mexican restaurant that tastes this good when you grow up knowing what authentic Mexican food should taste like. My mom loved the molcajete. She even told the family that she wants us to bring her back to this restaurant to eat out again soon. Within our party, we had the fajitas, and they were not dry at all. They were juicy and tasty. I had the red chicken enchiladas, and the salsa they used was flavorful and had just the right kick to it. The enchilada wasn't drenched in so much cheese that it masked the flavor of everything else. The portions were just right. Their beans and rice were also really good. We also had their fish tacos. They're not fried; they're grilled. They had good flavor and came topped with salsa, sour cream, and cabbage. Overall, we had an amazing experience, and I just couldn't help but feel so grateful to everyone there who helped make my mom's birthday dinner so special. Thank you Bahía Grill Cocina!!
