I cannot say enough good things about Patrick & the team at M-B Screen & Window Repair…read more First & foremost - the communication & follow-up from Patrick was so different from any contractor I've worked with before. He's incredible to work with & makes things stress-free as a homeowner. A trustworthy guy with great work ethic. Patrick & his team helped with a wide variety of renovations - from electrical to carpentry to siding repair. If he doesn't know how to do it himself (& that's rare, the man loves a challenge!) - he knows a quality contractor who will tackle the job & he will arrange it all for you. My contractor specified that we wanted "premium" boards - but the sales guy at John's told him that "premium" was just a marketing gimmick. When I called he gave me the same excuse. When I asked about the #2 & #1 stamps on the boards - he just reiterated his stance. I then called Fingerle Lumber and asked about pressure treated premium boards - they gave me the real scoop and I ordered new boards from Fingerle. They are beautiful, and almost knot free. They are also stamped "premium". We returned the sad boards to John's. Why 2 stars? Maybe the sales guy was just uneducated or new- benefit of the doubt.
