In the meantime, I talked to another electrician who came in and did a much more thorough check of my home before offering a quote. He also pointed out that things Corey was talking about doing such as upgrading to 200amp service weren't really necessary, while also determining by looking inside the electrical panel that my desire to make certain changes like separating rooms into their own breakers wouldn't be possible to do easily without a lot more labor and opening walls to find junction boxes. Ultimately, the other electrician gave me a better quote and was clearly more interested in getting the job, so I hired them instead. I still never ended up hearing back from Corey. Take that for what you will.

You can purchase a generator from anyone and the sale process generally goes well…read more The test is when you need advice or service after the sale and that is why F D Hayes Electric has earned all of my business. Without fail they have gone above and beyond my expectations. Pat Sprunger and his crews are polite, knowledgeable, thorough and professional. Everyone inside the office that I have spoken with have always had a great attitude and seem to genuinely care for their customers. My generator installation 5 years ago was rather difficult and they got the job done on time and provided some necessary upgrades to my existing service panel without extra charge. Since then, they have always responded promptly to both routine service and emergency requests. I know the company offers many more services than just generator sales and service. Although I have not needed to utilize their other departments yet, I will think of them first when the need arises based on their exemplary past performance when the chips were down. They are hands down the best value for your money!

I called Cherry Valley to make a service call to quote the installation of a larger breaker box…read more The appointment was made for the next week and I was told the electrician would arrive between 11 and 12. They requested pics of the breaker box so they could determine what size we needed. They called the day before to remind me of the appointment which I appreciated. Don arrived at 11:50. Took his shoes off before walking through the house. Very nice man and easy to talk to. He suggested a less expensive way to get the work done. We received the estimate two days later and it was reasonable. The work was scheduled less than two weeks later. We decided we wanted a plumbing hookup and they sent someone out in a couple days with a quote following a few days later. Lisa called a day or two before each appointment as reminders. The electrical and plumbing teams arrived at 8:30 to start the project. They worked all day and at the end of the day, the owner's son was trying to put back together a small garden area they had to dig through to get to the water source. I told him he didn't have to do that but I really appreciated his effort. The work they did was exemplary and I would highly recommend them for your electrical and plumbing needs.

It was stifling hot in the room. I told him this is our canfield central AC. We went to the kitchen and he said this is the way it should work in the bedroom. My friend said that Greg Canfield would never have allowed that kind of work to be done. He said get them back out here and have them make it right.
