This is the only full service car wash in Metrowest area that I know of. My car can get pretty dirty from the horseback riding with lots of dirt, dust, and outdoor debris getting into my car. I normally do the interior and exterior cleaning, and add fragrance as well. It is now about 33 dollars. A long time ago, they would drive your car to the machine, but now you have to drive to it and enjoy the theme park like ride. Before they dispatch the machine, they pre wash the exterior and hose off the soap. Then the machine starts. It does wash the exterior nicely with the soap and brushes, as well as rinse and dries. I normally do not get the hot wax option, so I can't comment on that. I will say that the brushes are pretty hard and sets off my collision detection sensors. Though it does make my car look like pretty new. After the machine, a friendly attendant points me to the full service area. The staff then vacuums, air spray off dusts, wipes, and cleans the interior. While they do that, there are some seating seats to wait and watch them perform. There is also a small shop that sells car products, and had a small seating area if you would like air conditioning. It normally takes about 10 to 15 minutes for them to finish cleaning, and they do a pretty good job as I don't see dirt or much dust inside anymore. With the lemon fragrance that I requested, it also smells pretty good. They also clean the trunk upon request. For 33 dollars, the full service interior and exterior cleaning with fragrance is a pretty good deal. They also do other services like oil change, but I haven't tried that yet. I do wish they still drive the car though the machine, but I guess now with liability issues, the customer has to do it now. However, it normally keeps my car clean for a couple weeks til I make a mess again after my next horse ride. read more

Explained to the Representative that I need the inside to be cleaned properly which included the center console and inside door handles. I was assured that this would be done. Upon getting called to my vehicle I saw paper under the backseat and when I mentioned it to the other representative she told it all depends on whose doing the vacuuming and that sometimes it's not done properly depending on whose doing it. This representative had two pony tails and tattos. Despite purchasing their top-of-the-line wash package, which included wheel cleaning and tire shine, I was thoroughly unimpressed with the results. The quality of service was subpar, and I've included a photo of the wheels as evidence. The employee who worked on my vehicle appeared disinterested in delivering quality work and claimed she had done her best. When I complained to the office, I was told to speak with the manager, who was none other than the same staff member who had worked on my vehicle. I always have a terrific experience when I come to Mobile 1 Lube Express and Sparkling Image Car Wash. I drove up to get my truck fully detailed, and John (he's terrific!) smelled oil burning. He and I both investigated under the hood and he found that my oil was significantly overfilled. (Background - My husband added oil to my engine this morning in the cold weather) - and John recognized and educated me that cold weather can affect how the oil level reads. So I took the opportunity to do a few other things that I had been putting off changing (oil change, power steering, fuel injection, etc.). John, Torres, Fig, and the team all helped to take care of my vehicle. The main waiting room lounge is super comfortable and I hung out there until my truck was done being serviced. Kudos to John for always being on top of what's happening with my vehicle every visit! **He drained enough oil to change three cars! Inside of the doors were all dirty and seemed like it wasnt even touched, the seats were still dirty, everything was dusty and just looked the same as it did before the car wash. My mother came here today to get her car cleaned. After she recounted her experience to me, I was upset enough for her and any other customers that Sparkling Image Car Wash has, that I felt obligated to write a review. My mother came in to the car wash today and told the associate that her car is really dirty and needed to be cleaned... dirt, dog hair, etc. The female employee told her that it would be an extra $15 on top of the Spray Wax Express (39.99) that she selected, to get the interior wiped down. She agreed to the up-charge because she was willing to pay whatever necessary to get it cleaned. When they notified her that the car was ready, it was still dirty. She pointed out to the male employee next to the car and said it wasn't cleaned. Then, she showed the female employee who had sold her the wash. The female employee said "Well, if you wanted the seats wiped down too that's an extra $15." I'm sorry, what? They then told her they offer detailing and that she should have done that. Why not offer that as an option to her when she first brought the car over? My mother asked for her car to be clean and it is still not, after $58.56. The female employee also claimed that certain spots were impossible to clean, but my mother was able to take her finger and get the spots off herself. This is what people are paying for? Excuses? I truly cannot say enough good things about this business. My Nissan was absolutely covered in tree sap and I honestly didn't have high hopes due to how coated the whole vehicle was. Not only did they remove about 99% of the tree sap, they went above and beyond and did a quick vacuum and wipe of the interior. When I walked up to the business I was truly stunned at how shiny it was. My 10 year old car looked nearly brand new. I only wish that I had taken a before picture because the difference was massive. The car service section is under new ownership. Be careful - they will try to scam you. I went in for an oil change and was told I needed to have my power steering flushed and refilled. I asked what absolutely "had to be done" the older gentleman said this was it. I agreed to the service and as I'm waiting, something didn't feel right. I went though my receipts in the glovebox and saw that it was done at this exact same location one oil change ago. I was upset - asked to talk to the manager. He was young and tried to give me a free service of similar value. Why on earth would I let them work on my car after they completely took advantage of me?! No way! I had spoken with the manager for a deal package to deep clean my lift on my truck for an additional 30$ extra . Unbelievable honestly, just came from there. I paid for service package #1 and the car exterior is still filthy. My car wasn't caked in love bugs so I don't understand how it could've been difficult to clean. You can still see where the bugs were, cause they failed to get rid of the residue. There's dirt all over the car and it doesn't look like any of the stuff I paid for was used (wax, rain-x, etc.) and no fragrance was added. The rims are the most rage inducing, it looks like they swiped it once with a towel and called it a day. Only silver lining is that my interior was done well. First and last time I go to them. I have given these guys a few chances, and I continue to be disappointed. I paid for their top end wash, and the quality is poor. The scrub and power wash before you enter the tunnel is barely perfunctory - they tend to skip the passenger side all together. Customer service is not great. Folks taking your money are usually nice enough but other staff can be downright rude. Took forever in the interior clean but job was still not done right. There was still dirt on the drivers side doors. Trunk was not vacuumed (second time in a row). Streaks on the window. Only one side of the steering column was dusted.
