I've been to this location several times. Getting a wash isn't always quick, but I figure when lines are long, service must be good! Choosing and paying for washes is usually simple, but the machines can be finicky if you pull your card too fast or slow. Not really a big deal since crew members are quick to help. On this particular visit lines were very long - almost to the street! - but it's lovebug season, so I chalked it up to that. Crew members were on the spot with directions to keep lines moving, but still friendly. I have Disney AP magnets on my car and the crew removed them carefully, and made sure I got them. How nice! Prices are very reasonable for what you get - I usually go with one of the express washes. Today I went up a level or two with a Lava Bath Express Wash, plus added Rain-x, since I hadn't been through in a while. A through wash and dry with double bond and carnauba wax, tri-foam polish, Wheel Brite, and a tireshine. Although I stuck with exterior wash only, my car still looked amazing when I was done. I really wish that this was labeled as the Mister Carwash that it actually is. Since they bought out Superwash, this place has been garbage. I've been twice since the change thinking that maybe the first was a fluke. The full service option is no longer available and the new equipment they installed in the wash itself is terrible. My car never was fully cleaned on the first pass. Honestly I'm currently driving past three Mister Carwash locations (Tavares is the worst excuse for a car wash) all the way to Leesburg for a quality wash and detail. read more

My wife and I take our vehicles here every week. In fact we have the auto pay feature that allows unlimited washes per month. It's works great. Simple and fast. For the most part they do an ok job here. When it's busy it's really busy. The washes come out good most of the time but when they are very busy the cars don't come out as good as other days. To be specific. What I mean is the guys who pre wash the cars before going in to the actual wash can be inconsistent with quality of work but it's specific to if they are super busy. I had the express $15 exterior wash. I had to use a cloth to dry off sections of the car. The car still had grime left, especially on the front bumper and grill. The water was not completely dried and I needed to use a cloth. Unfortunately, there aren't many other options available in the area, so It's this place or one of the do-it-yourself car washes...too bad. read more

But yesterday I took my Ford explorer for a inside out super wash paying $36.00 including tax and the inside job they finished in just 15 minutes by 3 members . I arrived at 5.30pm and the complete wash was finished by 6pm. THE STAFF WERE IN A HURRY TO GO HOME AND THEY HAVE DONE THE MOST HORRIBLE AND NASTY JOB ON MY CAR. THEY DID NOTHING INSIDE THE BOOT. I went to this car wash with the expectation that my 2017 suv would be clean upon exit of the wash. Apparently I set my expectations too high. Although I understand you can't get every bug off, the car should still be relatively clean. Once again I guess I have the wrong impression of the results of a car wash. I usually go to the one in Clermont, this one time there was some dirt left on the car, they immediately sent me back through and spent a little more time prepping the front my vehicle. This was the only issue I have ever had with this car wash. The lesson here is stay with what works. Laid off off multiple special needs workers, including employees with Autism, when they got rid of the interior cleaning services. It's the only reason I came here was to support their workers. As car washes in C Florida go, this is better... What you get though may be a mystery to the layman. On the "front line" Superwash is in the habit of using Dobie pads for removing bugs... These pads are SCRATCHING YOUR PAINT! On dark colored cars it's especially noticeable as "spiderwebs" or cross-hatched scratching of the paint! When I brought this to the managers attention he argued with me. I have had my car washed at the Superwash Mt Dora for a long time. The last 3 or 4 times were terrible. The dry off was nice t complete, the inside windows were streaked so bad that I had to redo them at home. The carpets were hardly touched and the Inspector was annoyed when I told him I was not happy. Today! Not busy yet, no pre washer, the machine to select and pay for your wash doesn't work. It took five minutes and a clerk to keep trying before it finally accepted it. Now there's a line. That's been the norm! This should be fixed. The car wash is not cheap. I was pretty unimpressed with going to Superwash yesterday, Nov 7 at about 10am... it wasn't super busy but was steady! They were pretty fast and efficient but They left streaks on my windows and smudges on the side of the car ...of course didn't see till I left! Also when I asked the "Inspector" guy if they had vacuumed my trunk, he nastily informed me I would have had to leave the trunk open..! They might have asked or had a sign to mention that! Don't wash inside anymore and windows and inside vac was the reason most customers go here or it's just another drive thru car wash. Went since then and Car wasn't prepped before entering wash so front and back bumpers were filthy and also all around side view mirrors. They use to soft soap wiping that down before entering. Now if your lucky a guy sprays a few squirts water on front and Really Rushes you through So close to other cars like cattle. I brought my Jeep Liberty in today 2:33pm. I got the hand wax with the Rain-X add on. The total with tax came to $51.99. When I got my jeep back about a half hour later it looked really great. Went through on a Monday with a 2015 that I bought the previous Friday. When I got home from this car wash I had spots all over my car. They will not come off. This place ruined my paint on a three day old car. There were no spots before I went through the wash. I spoke with two managers, both immediately and fervently denied liability. The second manager I spoke with at least offered to look at it when he is in town later this week. I'll be meeting him then to see what he can/will do. I will update this review after that meeting. They also have a policy that if it rains within 24 hours of your wash you can get a free wash! Ample room for parking to clean the inside. Very reasonably priced. Meh. For the price it's ok I guess. Took the car here for a wash after reading the reviews. All said and done it took about 40 minutes, was 30+ dollars and when I left and got home I noticed a few soap spots on the door. So I took a deeper look at the rest of the car and saw soap spots everywhere, smudges on the windshield and bug guts in a few places (no, they weren't fresh from the ride home). So I wound up spending 30 minutes buffing them out. Interior looked good though, not spotless but certainly cleaner. If you have the time and need a decent wash I would recommend getting the 20 dollar package with no upgrades. No need for the bells and whistles package as it would likely be a waste of cash. read more

Had one hr lunch break and saw this 'express car wash' place with a huge line of cars and wondered if I'd be able to get my car washed and eat lunch. Turns out they are so fast, they hand wash it and then you go through a more thorough machine wash so fast. I go here regularly because I have Fybromyalgia and want a clean car and I expect to get a clean car! I pay extra and yet still have dirt on my hubs,bird poo on my trunk !
