I pay my bill and they disconnect my service. Bill was paid 5 days ago but they still say that I owe. No service for past due payment for 5 days, which was paid. I can't get thru over phone or chat, 2 hour wait time. read more

I posted a review about Sparklight and received feedback to talk to one of the employees at Sparklight but the employee did not leave a direct number to call so I would have to use the same very average to bad phone service to call. Sparklight made a change in their phone service and when I tried to login they had technical difficulties so I called and waited and waited and then found out the customer service person gave me the wrong instructions. The internet service/cable has been terrible the last week and barely tolerable most of the time. The number of incidents of buffering, "we have a problem try again", and just going to the screensaver after a few minutes is ridiculous for the $300 a month price. During the Super Bowl including the halftime show, I missed most of the show and several touchdowns and/or interceptions due to buffering and we have a problem...Please just fix the problem or get out of the cable business. read more

Terrible Customer Service. You won't get the bandwidth that you are paying for. Not responsive to customer. They will gladly take your money though. Shame on them for not being Sparklight finally contacted me and was able to work on my issue. Better but still a little lacking. It was unfortunate that it was such a difficult process to even get a response. read more

On Saturday, July 17, lightening struck very close to my home and blew out my router. I thought I was going to have to go the the store in town and switch it out on Monday, however, when I saw the Sparklight service truck on my street, I asked the technician Josh Clemons was he in the area servicing due to the lightening. He said yes and let me know I had to call to enter a service ticket. I did and signed up to receive a return phone call in 25 minutes. 15 minutes or so later, Josh knocked on my door and said he had taken the initiative and entered a service ticket on my behalf since he was right there and had the equipment. He tested my router and then brought in the replacement. I was very pleased with his initiative in making a Sparklight customer happy. And he probably also saved the company money by not having to return later in the day! Thanks Josh! read more

My experience was bad with their costumer service, fees kept being added before I ever got service connected.

A large tree fell on my house on Sunday taking out internet and power. Sparklight was very responsive getting it back up and running within 24 hours. They were extremely polite and helpful. Would highly recommend their service. read more

They talk a good game, but deliver.... NOT SO MUCH. Good connection speed but had enough down time to make up for ATT&T's DSL slowdowns. Promise 20 emails, but when confronted with questions, can't use those emails as "throw aways". Too much spam coming in, they block all your accounts. With that information, decided to not to move my business accounts to them. Called their tech support, asked about a specific modem before I bought it, was told it was good. Tried to use it durring setup, was rejected. Now offering it on E bay. Customer support people seem to be reading scripts rather than interacting with clients, even though I specified that Yes or NO would be a valid answer. Now guess who will NOT be my isp next month! They (Sparklight) are the kings of nickel-n-dime-ya-to-death. Whatever they quote, add $75 a month. For every bit/bite you use, they count it as 1 MEG, so get ready to be charged. God help ya if you pay by auto-draft, because then they'll bleed you dry and overdraft your account. Can't order movies or pay-per-view, their channel lineup is the least desirable and yet the most expensive. Don't let them fool you with # of channels as they have at least doubles and in some cases triples of the exact same thing. The only reason they got a two rating from me was because it was way more reliable than AT&T. read more

My thanks to Sparklight/Cableone service department for the outstanding job they do for me. Josh Clemons is one of the most knowledgable service techs I have ever had in my 70 years of dealing with cable/internet companies. I arrived home yesterday from vacation and had issues with my internet due to storms in the area while gone. After talking with tech support on the phone they ascertained an onsite visit was required. They sent Josh Clemons to my house the next afternoon, and he troubleshot my internet, then replaced the drop from the pole to my house. The whole process only took 30 minutes or so. He is an amazing young man!. I found the whole experience from tech support on the phone to tech on the ground to be very pleasing. I am a long term user of Cableone/Sparklight service and will reccomend them to anyone when the time arises. Thanks to the whole team at Sparklight/Cableone for their top notch product and service. You are fair priced and you back it all up with people like Josh Clemons. read more

If there was just a 1/2 star rating, it would be more appropriate. This is absolutely the worst internet service I have ever experienced. I can't wait until AT&T has service in my area. I will switch as soon as it is available. So frustrated with Cable One!!! read more

DON'T DO IT!!! If you have ANY other options at all please do NOT get Cable One service. The worst customer service I've ever encountered. The only thing they do is suggest you reset your router and look at lights as if your some kind of moron who doesn't know anything about internet. No working knowledge of actual service and no help at all with any problems. Completely unreliable service (constant disconnects, slower speeds than you pay for, aka 5 megs when you pay for 50, esp when their customer service is closed, so when you call in all they say is, "try to reset your router"). The ONLY reason I have their service is that I live in a place that has no other options. Even fixed wireless can't get to me and loop length is too long for DSL. PLEASE do not get cable one if you have any alternative! read more
