At the time he said he could fix it, with no problem. Days after he messaged saying he could fix for another $185. It was then she decided she just wanted it back. He told her husband that he could return the money in 3 days. That never happened and when we went to retrieve the iPad, He tried to scam us out of more money, he then became very volatile. After he had threatened us and got us upset; he then went into his home yelling he was scared for his life! "For his recording I'm sure"and returned pulling a gun as we were walking back to our vehicle. We informed him we had 2 children in the car to put the gun away. But instead he stood in front of our car. It was t until I pulled my camera out that he hid the gun and proceeded to laugh He has also called and messaged multiple times with threats and trying to charge more money, just today!! Have tried to have police retrieve our item with no luck. So we are out an iPad and $225 so far!

Once he came out of the truck, I told him to move his truck...he had a very bad attitude & didn't even care that he was parked illegally. I contacted Staples Corporate office, spoke to a manager & he assured me that they will take of this matter... I hope that actually happens. I've always had great experiences inside the store, but this interaction with this particular driver has put a negative feeling of how their driver's are trained.

When I walked in, the person at the register greeted me in a genuine sort of way. Off to a good start here. I wandered back to the place where USB drives live, and out of the corner of my eye I spied a Staples employee helping someone else. I've got this, no problem, I probably don't need or even want a ton of help. Too late, he was done with the others and on his way. I braced myself for the inevitable long and protracted conversation about USB drives and why I really needed the bigger and more expensive one...and while we are at it, how about an Extended Warranty Plan to cover replacement when you mistake it for a potato chip and accidentally take a huge bite out of it? No. That didn't happen. Instead, the Staples Guy merely said, 'everything ok?' And then left me alone! Perfect, it is if I had scripted this! I picked my prize from the shelf, and when I turned around, I was blinded by a bright light. Steve Jobs was sending down his Apple Magic Toy Beacon and drawing me into the light...to where the Mac Toys lived! For a small town in Oklahoma, this place is really set up with some cool Mac stuff! I could have foraged all day long, but like a junkie in church, I pushed down that urge and instead merely slowed my pace while strolling by and taking in as much as possible. As I headed to the register to pay, I noted the cleanliness of the store as well as the great selection of Stuff. I wish that I had more time to pause and peruse...but duty calls and I needed to rush off and put my newly aquired SANDISK treasure to its intended purpose of keeping American Business on track in the the Black.

I called Gary to see if he could be of any help with appraising my property. Although his price was…read moreabout the same as all the other appraisers I called, I decided to go with Gary because his turn-around was sooner than the others. The day we scheduled the appraisal, Gary showed up on time and got right to work. I noticed that Gary was not in a hurry to get in and get out and on with his day. He methodically checked every aspect of every room and did a full exterior inspection. Gary concluded his initial visit to my property and told me he would send me the appraisal as soon as he put everything together and wrote his report. A day or two later, Gary called me and asked if he could go back to the property and inspect a bit further in a couple areas. I obliged and really appreciated the fact that it meant enough to him to come back on his time to make sure the accuracy of his report was not compromised, regardless of the time it takes to gather extra information. When I received the appraisal, I was impressed at how detailed it was. It included everything from a full report about the condition of the property, pictures, comps and other notes. Gary went as far as to detail, in his opinion, what updates were needed in order to maximize selling price. All in all, hiring Gary Scott was no doubt a great decision. My personal take on Gary is that he's a really good guy that truly enjoys helping his clients and building long term relationships with them. Also, Gary is very ethically conscious, knowing that his clients privacy and confidentiality is of utmost importance. In the north-eastern region of Oklahoma, the only guy to call for an appraisal is Gary Scott!
