I have been trying to sign up for Mountain Valley Spring water delivery for over two months. First, they lacked sufficient bottles. Then, when I mentioned my Costco membership, they brusquely referred me to Costco.com and said there was nothing they could do. Unfortunately, Costco does not offer Mountain Valley Spring water delivery, only other Primo brands, and I'm back to square one. This lengthy, disappointing process prompted me to read the reviews, and after I realised who would fulfil my orders when I signed up, I decided against it. Thankfully, the signup process was awful enough to save me from further headaches. They are rude and don't seem to care about their customers, it is a horrible business. They have also raised their prices and sneak extra charges they don't tell you about. I should have been charged $32 (this is my bill) but then I discovered I was charged $48. I was told it was for delivery fees, but delivery was already included in that $32. What they say don't make sense, and they aren't honest, so I would be very aware of this company. Even Costco and Sam's Club sell water for $5, so save your time and sanity! AWFUL customer service. They take forever to answer a call, literally almost one hour and that was each time we called. Then at some point they merged with Primo or Ready Refresh or something I don't know and just abruptly moved our account. They pushed our date back THREE times without informing us. We called twice today to confirm delivery and were told they were on their way. I have been a member for years and today I found that there was debris in the container where I was drinking water for the past month. It was not visible as I paid no mind to the container until I decided to pour the remainder of the water into a separate cup. After seeing this in a glass cup, I realized the danger that we were pouring ourselves in. We were promised quality water not this. I called in three customer service number to report it. The call center was busy and loud that I could not really understand the person who was helping me. He was not sympathetic and was more interested in replacing the container than showing compassion for our wellbeing. He asks for the delivery date and time. I told him Oct 11, 2024 3:21pm. After he wanted to end the call without giving me a ticket number and he refused to give me his name. He finally gave me a ticket number and said I can talk to the local office when they call me tomorrow. Maybe they can help with the inconvenience. Called CS to find out what's happening and was told due to recent merger service was interrupted. Was given a number to call local office so that I can figure out when water would delivered. I am writing to explain why I have called today to schedule my account to be closed next Thursday. I work in an office building with multiple Sparkletts accounts and delivers, yet for the last several months Primo has been unable or unwilling to deliver water to my office despite repeated efforts on my part. I have called customer service at least 4 times. Each time the person on the phone claimed to solve the issue and that water would arrive the next delivery -- it never did. I called to cancel my service and was offered to have a branch distribution manager reach out to me to solve my issue. The manager called me and left a voicemail; however, he did not respond to my 3 calls or voicemail afterward. I ran into a Sparkletts driver at a gas station near my work and asked him to share a note with my phone number with the driver who serviced my buildings -- nothing came of that. In the meanwhile I have been paying for coolers that I had previously requested be returned and which i could not even use after having no water deliveries. I should be refunded for the last several months for this. I called again today to cancel my service and scheduled a pickup of my equipment and remaining (long empty) bottles next week. The person on the phone did not seem to care about the issue and clearly wanted the call to finish quickly. I fully expect Primo to fail to pick up the equipment and I will be forced to call again to find a delivery address so i can drop off the equipment myself. The service of my commercial address has been so poor I am considering cancelling my private address which itself has had no issues. Reading previous reviews reminds me of my own story. As an added bonus I could not even write my story down into their customer contact portal which claimed to have an issue (see attached). Updated review to include company response. I had Sparkletts home service for many years with no problems but something happened this year where over several months, the driver could never get my delivery right. I tried talking to him in person, calling customer service, sending emails. One day I even tried to flag the truck down on the street as he drove by my house and did not stop to deliver the water. If I had a few million dollars and wanted to multiply it several times, I would start a water delivery company called "Not Sparkletts" and I'd probably instantly get most of their customers to switch. That's how impossibly bad Sparkletts is. This company takes the apathy of the DMV, combines it with the incompetence of USPS/FedEx, and adds a dash of fraudulent billing practices. Sparkletts will screw up so badly and so often that it seems like the employees want the company to fail. You cannot get a credit for a missed delivery. You cannot request a change. You cannot do anything but pay them and then take whatever they give you and hope it's the right product. Then when you are sick of this, you cannot cancel. They simply don't do it. They keep charging you and will eventually use a collection agency. (No idea how any collection agency is willing to buy their accounts after years of incorrect billing). Install water filters. We have experienced bad service for the delivery of water. We have been customers for years. They set up a delivery date and the water is not delivered on that date. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 days after each schedule date for the water to arrive. Email notifications of delivery is always wrong! We got tired of poor service and cancelled the water, so now they charged me for two bottles that was after the cancellation date and we never got the water. Charges for 2 bottles plus delivery charges!! This will be the second call to make sure they stop deliver and correct billing for August. Poor customer service! Worthless water service. Water machine rental is too high. I could purchase my own with half a year rent. Five gallon water price is equal to buying water from a regular market. Delivery drivers does not inform you as they arrive to your doorstep. I pretty much have to imagine as the water must have been delivered or hear a truck sound. I don't know if my service comes from Gardena or another location but wherever it comes from, you will have nothing but headaches. Try calling the branch. You'll get voicemail. Rarely will anybody answer. I've spoked with the manager repeatedly. Unfortunately I have to agree with the rest of the negative reviews. there have been several missed water delivery attempts, after Sparkletts not delivering on about four attempts I have now canceled my service and two attempts to pick were failed due to them not coming to pick up the water dispenser. now I'm trying to obtain a drop off address to get rid of this water dispenser that I'm renting monthly I was told that a supervisor will be calling me back within 24 hours (why can't I just be provided the address with the customer service rep??) I've called twice and nobody's ever called me back it's been over a week now and each time I call them the hold time is about an hour. So we signed up at Costco in the beginning of October. Our first delivery was scheduled for a Monday. By 4:30, no water and dispenser had been delivered so I call. Was assured it would arrive but may be just a little late. Tuesday rolls around and same ole story. Customer service apologizes profusely and that it should arrive. By 8 pm, we decided that we're just not even going to try using their service. I mean this is their first impression? The customer has to be the one to call to see if and when the delivery would arrive?!? Unfortunately we could not even get through on their toll-free number. Finally arrives Wednesday. By this time, I had already toted a 5 and 3 year old and a 9 month old with me to fill up our water jugs. So me and the mister decide screw it, we'll give them a try. The driver was real nice and had explained this to set everything up and what not. So our delivery was scheduled for yesterday. Lo and behold, it does not show up. Again. I called customer care and the representative puts me on hold to find out what's going on. She spoke to some manager named Anthony. (At least that's what she told me). She said Anthony assured her that our delivery would arrive first thing in the morning. It's past 2:30 in the afternoon, which isn't even morning. I call and was given the "sorry for the inconvenience" spiel but due to what's going on they cannot guarantee delivery. Um, what?!? This is a horrible way to conduct business. This has been one of the worst customer experiences I've had in a while. My rating is actually 0 because of the hassle I've had to go through the last 3 days. As a new customer I should not have to spend 3 days following up on driver status. I understand this location is short staffed but communicating this to your customers would be beneficial so people can expect longer delays. My order was to be delivered on Wed 7/20. I waited all day for cooler + water to be delivered. I was reassured 4 times that the order would be delivered. Delivery times are 8a-5pm. 6pm came and still no delivery but 10mins later I saw the truck drive by on my street but it didn't stop. I had to wait until the next day to call customer service because the department was already closed. Thursday 7/21 I called at 9:30am to cancel my service altogether! I was not expecting a delivery since my service is canceled but at 11:30am the delivery was sitting on my porch. I had to call back 3 times to make sure it was picked up the same day. Of course it wasn't because the driver and the supervisor does not check their messages! Friday 7/22 I call back to make sure the order is picked up today. The agent tells me they left a voicemail and sent notices to the driver and supervisor to call me today. As of now, no phone call. Paula who is a manager at the call center left me a message to ensure that the order would be picked up today however she did not mention that a pickup was not scheduled so again, I have to wait due to their error! Called back to speak to another agent who scheduled the pickup for next Wednesday. Why do I have to wait that long?! It's their fault for delivering after I canceled my service. The whole point of canceling was so that I didn't have to go through this BS! This location is below 0 in terms of service. Hire a new manager because that person is not addressing the concerns of customers. At least respond when someone is trying to reach you. We pay Sparkletts for a service so they should do more to appease the customers. Worse service and I won't ever recommend it. From the reviews here on Yelp, no one recommends it. Make sure to also get your credit care removed from their system to avoid having to deal with billing issues once you cancel the service. My rating is still a 0! Today (7/27) was my scheduled pickup day. It wasn't a surprise that the driver requested to reschedule but no one reached out to me to let me know. Sparkletts communication channels are horrible. Multiple people dropping the ball in customer care and management. I had to call back a second time today, only to be told that a pickup would not be made & they had no reschedule date. How is this location still open and people still have a job? The fact that there is no concern about the inconveniences these drivers cause to their customers, is mind blowing! One person said that the tracking program for driver ETA was so bad that they don't even have access to see the drivers location anymore because it was so off on the actual times. I understand being short staffed but not communicating to customers when it impacts the customer is not good for business. I have no confidence that this equipment will be picked up so I'll have to drop it off myself. I will not wait another week or 2 for Sparkletts to fix this problem. The manager Sharon did let me release my frustrations but not much she could do to ensure my pickup would be done. Sharon called back to let me know that the branch manager said to reschedule a delivery for 7/29 but it will be the same thing like last week. No pickup so I won't even waste anymore time. I recommend that you never do business with Sparkletts unless you want to spend your days as a new customer following up on the status and checking if someone will address your issues. Thank you Sharon for trying to help but Sparkletts will continue to lose customers if they don't fix their internal communication structure/processes. Placed a order two weeks ago for some water cases, water gallons and a aqua cafe bottom load cooler. Two weeks later I got a email a day before confirming the delivery for the next day. I took a day off work to be home and I got no call or text or email. No one showed up. The next day in the morning I call and they tell me they missed the delivery, but it will be delivered that day, and that they were going to get someone to text me a ETA so I stay home from work again...NO TEXT NO CALL NO UPDATE, so I call before the end of the day and they give me the same shit, that it was scheduled to be delivered and she told me to hold while she gets ahold of the Gardena location to get them to text me a ETA. NEVER RECEIVED A TEXT OR CALL AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. Am going to have to call to cancel tomorrow morning. !UPDATE! They got in contact with me and quickly resolved the issue!
