We had Sparkletts water service for over 9 years and never once needed to call customer service. Since the change to Primo Water, everything has gone downhill. I have been charged double and billed early for services I hadn't even received. On top of that, every time I try to resolve the issue I spend 30+ minutes on hold before reaching anyone. What used to be a smooth, reliable service has now become a monthly headache. In just a few months under Primo, I've had to call more times than I did in nearly a decade with Sparkletts. All I want to do now is cancel my service, because the time and frustration are simply not worth it. Primo needs to seriously improve its billing practices and customer support. Sparkletts/Primo/Whatever water delivery in Bakersfield is a complete mess. You can't even be sure which Yelp profile is them, or when and if they will show up. Delivery dates in your account appear to be suggestions at best, and often dates come and go with no delivery. Apparently every water delivery company in Bakersfield merged, and the back office is run by 3rd graders. Drivers are great, when they are given a schedule. read more

I feel so bad for my daughter who is in north Hollywood and they can not get their Sparkletts for 3 months now they have not had a delivery!! I tried this service for a while at the beginning it was great, deliveries were on time. Then I kept getting random pickup days from my normal pickup day. They changed my day of week and driver 3 or more times. Which caused confusion on when the bottles should be set out. I have set out bottles and they were there so long I just brought them in. Then they come bring more bottles and now the bottles are not out to get picked up. My main issues is I went out of town I skipped my water service weeks in the portal so when I return I will restart once my bottles were low. By now I have like 13 bottles of water so no need for delivery for a while. But I did request a pickup of my last bottles. When I came back they sent a letter demanding payment for service I did not use yet. This billing was off and I was trying to figure it out, when I tried calling customer service usually I could get someone but I was having a hard time getting someone to help me. The last time I looked at my bill it was 140ish. When we came back it was over $300. Before we could get this figured out they closed my account and charged me for the bottles they did not come and pick up and sent me to collections now the bill is saying over $600. Hey! I have a disability and needed some help from an actual person. So negative stars should be given totally not a team orientated workplace, everyone is on their own agenda I guess. I've changed from Osarka to sierra and they came took all my bottles and now charge me for every single bottle that I don't return, also they supposed to deliver every month for our business and they're always late for 1-2 weeks, and their excuse is short on staffs. I should have looked at these reviews before starting this service because THIS IS THE MOST INCOMPETENT COMPANY THAT EVER EXISTED! It's like they're purposely doing the opposite of what I asked for to mess with me! They constantly bring deliveries on the one day a week I told them not to and when I change or reschedule, it somehow gets changed without my knowledge or consent. WORST DELIVERY SERVICE EVER! This is the only water service in our area so they do not try to provide good service; they are complacent and always late. The drivers cannot count or read, they rarely get our order correct, even if you schedule online or write hand written notes, they will disregard or get confused. They will also force you to buy their small drinking bottles when you do not request them, they just leave them on your doorstep as some underhanded scheme, overcharge you, they will not return your call and or refuse to refund you for an order or product you did not order. They won't answer the phone or respond to letters, allow you to cancel the service. Then months after they pick up the dispenser and water bottles they charge you extra late fee before settling the account. The delivery and set-up guys are hard working, nice enough people but Sparklett's business practices are so shady I surprised a lawyer has drafted a class action law suit against the mega-water giant. read more

We've had Sparkletts at our business for several years. Last month our hot / cold dispenser leaked and dumped 5 gallons of water on our lunchroom floor. I called the number listed for the Fresno office and the recording asked if I was an existing customer which I chose but I got stuck in a recorded message loop. After 45 minutes with nobody answering I hung up and looked for different numbers. I called DS Water Headquarters in Georgia, Primo Water Headquarters in Texas and a number in Florida. Each call had the same recording which nobody answers. I got the idea that when the recording asked if I was an existing customer or a new customer I chose new customer and someone answered. First question she asked was am I an existing customer or new customer. When I said existing she threw me back into the no answer loop. I tried again and this time when she asked the magic question I said, Please do not hangup on me but I m an existing customer. Boom, hung up. I sent an email to headquarters telling them I was canceling my service, wanting equipment and two full bottles picked up. I told them I was canceling my payment and for them to adjust with the credits they would be picking up plus the 5 gallons on my floor. Driver showed up and I told him I canceled. He picked up everything, I asked for a receipt for what he was picking up but he told me he did not have the ability to write an invoice. I told him to have his boss call me. No call. Then I got my bill which had the previous months bill on it and charges for one of our two monthly deliveries but no credit for everything returned. In my opinion, the entire business is a big failure. When I place orders online, the driver completely ignores my order. If I order 6 bottles, but have 3 out,, he replaces the 3. Then I call to ask for the 3 more to be delivered and the support apologies, says there will be no charge, and sends the 3 I originally requested.. Then there is a delivery fee for that, so I call back and ask for the to be removed.. It's really a big hassle. With the $12.99 delivery fee, and the failure to even look at what you requested, I'm going to be looking for a plumber to install reverse osmosis system. I've just been l lazy, the reality is for ,maybe 1 years worth of water delivery, you can get a top of the line under kitchen sink reverse osmosis system. Your drivers failing to look at the customer orders is driving away customers. Also, clearly, the entire process is not environmentally friendly. After a 15 min wait on hold I was told I would receive a phone call back from the local dispatch the same day, that was Monday, today is Wednesday and still waiting. Even though I had issues of delivery. I was contact by two different three different individuals. Which all helped me in three different areas. I was very pleased with their assistance. Driver came to deliver at the business I work for and asked us to use our forklift to unload his delivery. We are so busy this time of year that there aren't any available bodies to unload water that we pay for and someone else gets paid to unload. Also, the driver asked a vendor that doesn't work at our facility nor are they forklift certified to use our lifts. About 5-7 minutes after asking the wrong person to move the water for him, a Manager went outside to help only to see the driver leaving without delivering anything. I called customer service and got caught in the never ending loop and after 25 minutes hung up. I'm reading reviews here and there seems to be a running theme. This company does not care about customers. I'll await the obligatory apology response that usually provides zero resolution to a situation. read more

Where's the zero star? I went on Costco's website that lead me to this company. DO NOT ever go with this water service company. Customer phone service is great. It's not their fault water bottle delivery service is horrible. I signed up and paid for convenience and reliability of service. I cancelled because I had to go refill my own water jugs!! Then I called to cancel and now they having me place my bottles outside for days and this company still have not picked it up yet. $17 per 5-gallon Spring water + $2.75 service fee. No thanks. I really wish I could give them a zero because their home delivery service is that bad. I have had nothing but problems since I got them. If you change your order before your delivery date, it doesn't matter how far in advance, because the order will still be wrong. I don't know if its a literacy problem or what, someone there just cannot read. Help....check orders before you deliver them!!!! read more

The guy at costco doesn't specify anything amd you're surprised when you get your first bill.I was told I would only be paying a certain price every month and come to find out I get surprise charges. Plus when I first signed up I was given a defective water cooler and I was told I was going to get another one delivered twice amd here I am three weeks later with a water cooler that is completely broken. But now they are saying I will be charged a delivery fee for the cooler to be delivered! A water cooler that was defective when I first received it. primo water is a company that I met once when I visited the Costco store, the person in charge recommended the water to me and spoke very highly of the service and told me that he did the math for me and told me that he was going to give me three bottles of water and the dispenser and that I was going to pay $31 a month to which I said yes. We made the contract after a month passed and they never sent me anything. For that reason I had to call them, they told me that they had bad information and that it was an error on his side and that they were going to fix it, so I asked him what was my bill, he said is was about $100 I asked him why, and he gave me a lots of excuses to which I told him I didn't want the service anymore because that's not what we had agreed on, after a month and a half they finally they came to pick it up the water and the dispenser. Ater that they were charging me about $140 for a month and a half of service. I wasn't very. After a lot of talking to them, we agreed that it was going to be about $85, to which I was still not very happy because we had agreed that it was going to be $31 a month, nothing more. Problem is, we're not in the office every day of the week so frequently are not here to receive the delivery. Worst customer service I have ever encountered, ever. I wanted to get my great-grandparents set up so I called and it was all good. Delivery date comes by and no show. Mind you I have to take time off of work to be there. Anyway rescheduled it for a week later and no show again! Wth?! I was furious, they said the route "manager" had rescheduled it. Terrible service. They would charge us for more bottles than they delivered. When I finally audited my account after their many "no shows" on delivery I noticed that they had been charging me for a " water bottle rack" that we did NOT have nor did we sign up for. I canceled my service. They refused to credit me the entire time we were billed for it and said they could only go back 3 months. I never received the refund they promised. I tried to dispute it with my credit card company but DS Waters(Sparkletts) told them that they refunded me which they did not. Got tired of chasing my refund and gave up. Not the worst company in my experience. They always delivered on time and delivered the amount I would ask for every time. But once it came to go into the office to return the equipment because I no longer wanted the service....experience was the complete opposite. Sat out in the office for about 10 to 15 without no one to be found to ask if I needed help, a worker or two saw me but pretty much ignored the fact I was there. Not until a lady came in and asked if we had been help I said nope and she said let me go get someone...theeeen did someone go out there and help me. NEGATIVE 5!!! They bought Alpine Water which I actually liked. I moved and tried to move service, but after the 1:05hour hold time I just canceled their service. I told them my new address and they never showed up to pick up the old water bottles. After another 45min hold time phone call, I asked them again to come pick up the water bottles and they never showed. A month later, they charged my account for missing water bottles. 40min hold time phone call later and they are putting the money back into my account in 10 days and promise to come by and pick up the water bottles. I originally signed up for a 30 dollar a month deal which wasn't bad until they started delivering more bottles then originally agreed and my bills started increasing to 80 dollars a month. Ok, so far, I made the decision to call this company and get their services. I called them since last week and, of course, paid and schedule a delivery appointment for today August 21, 2013. So, they made me to miss my day at work ( which my pay is gone) to wait for the guy, but he neither showed up nor bother to call me and advised me. I called the company twice today to ask about the service and the delivery person, but none of the customer service representatives were able to get hold of such driver.
