I am very impressed with this company. Travis Goode answered the phone on the first call, he and his crew were very busy with existing work. However, he took the time to listen to the problem (Leaking main). He added me to his schedule very quickly. He knew that I was very stressed out and worried about the situation. His crew came out and took care of everything. The service was professional, friendly, and affordable. The difference between Goode Plumbing and others that I called.... The others would not give me even a vague ballpark figure of how much it would cost or how quickly they can fix it without coming to my house. Goode Plumbing took the time to let me explain everything, I send a couple pictures, they provided me with a ball park idea of cost. I understood that it could change once his crew arrived due to my explanation and other things that may change the estimate. They fixed it and stayed at the quote. There was a little misunderstanding, but they were willing to take care of it, however I was able to take care of it on my own. Travis and his crew are fantastic. We have used them since 2020 when they installed a whole house water filtration system which is really great. They were good at communication, getting work done in a timely manner, giving a fair price and being so friendly. Most recently, we called Goode Plumbing when our filtration system needed some maintenance and to have some plumbing work in the kitchen. Carter and Scott did a fantastic job. They were right on time, professional, really great at explaining what they were doing (even providing information on a plumbing need we have in the future) and super friendly. Outstanding Service from a Local Gem! My sister and I own a duplex here in Clovis, and both of our water heaters were on their last legs. We originally went through Home Depot and were paired with Delta Mechanic. They came out, assessed the situation, and recommended replacing both water heaters with one larger tankless unit to serve both sides of the duplex. Their recommendation made sense, but their pricing was steep and completely non-negotiable. That's when I started researching local companies and came across Goode Plumbing. Travis came out personally, looked everything over, and gave the same professional recommendation, but with a far more reasonable quote. He said he could beat Delta's price, and he absolutely did. The fact that a small, family-owned local business was able to provide outstanding quality of work at a better price speaks volumes. I also really appreciate that our money stayed within our local community rather than going to a big national chain. The installation crew arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and left the space spotless. They were professional, respectful, and clearly take pride in their work. Called this company and spoke to a representative. Explained our predicament. He made it sound like it was an easy fix and something he could do. He requested we send him pictures which we complied with his request. Never heard from this business again. A call back would have been a nice courtesy, but maybe this company only works with Clovis clientele. read more

Fantastic service. Other plumber quoted me $800 in work including possibly having to tear up the floors to replace leaky pipes. Goode came in and realized it was loose bolts on the toilet tank causing the leak and saved us a ton of money. Would definitely use again. read more

Goode Plumbing did a great job, were very responsive and came to fix my toilet the same day I called. Travis was nice and knowledgeable on the phone, and Jonathan, the technician, was very nice and did a good job, quickly. Can't complain about their work whatsoever. The job took about 20 minutes or less for the technician to complete. He replaced a part - toilet water shut off valve and supply line - a relatively inexpensive part. I waited longer for him to bring back the invoice than the job took him to do, and I was surprised when he told me $350. Even assuming one hour minimum labor and other factors, that doesn't add up to me. Invoice is not itemized. It's my fault, I should have asked for a quote before they started work. I was excited they were able to fix it same day and perhaps trusted the good yelp reviews too much. But I feel like I was overcharged for a simple job. Lesson learned. read more

A year later and our water heater had the same error code. Called Fresno Plumbing this time and they came out and fixed it for $150. I asked the two guys from Fresno plumbing their opinion on what was done last year and they said I paid way more than I should have and that the error code is not nearly as bad as it was made out to be by Goode Plumbing. It seems like Goode Plumbing either didn't have the expertise to fix the problem in a cost effective way, or did know and chose to charge us way more than was necessary. Had a surprise underground drain issue with old, old cast iron sewer line which halted a bathroom remodel at my Mama's house. Being protective of her not getting riped off as she's had in the past, I qualified some companies, a few "guesses over the phone" types (um, no.) and thankfully found and chose Goode Plumbing due to quick communication and expertise. I reached out to Travis from Goode Plumbing after reviewing his rating here on Yelp. We were in search of a licensed plumber (per our Home Warranty Co.) that worked on septic systems to diagnose and fix a stoppage right before Christmas. We were going to be hosting a party of 50 and wanted to make sure it was cleared before hand. He was very quick to get someone out there to us and was honest about the up front costs to locate and dig up the septic cover and gave us the option to do it ourselves if we wanted. We knew where it was at and decided to save money and have our 17 yr old son dig it up for us :) His fee's for the service were right around the cost everyone else I had called quoted so I felt it was fair market pricing. The technician that came out was fast and reliable. Travis was knowledgeable on the issue and spoke to my husband about ways to care for our septic to keep it in working order for years to come. He can sometimes be hard to reach as he does work in the mountain area and doesn't always have reception. However, he or his wife check their emails and will be in touch as soon as reliably possible. I understand getting tied up and may miss a call from time to time. So I called Goode Plumbing again, he discussed what my issue was again and informed me he would call me later in the week. I am glad that an appointment did not get set, if there would have been issues with the repair this is exactly what I would have gotten, no contact or communication. I was in the market for a water treatment system. Coming from well water with extremely hard water and with my new home purchase in the City I know I definitely wanted a whole house system. With the addition of a utility sink added in the garage. I did my research had an idea of what I wanted. Called multiple companies and ultimately I chose to go with Goode Plumbing. The total price was definitely higher than the "other guys" not competitors.. cannot be listed even in the same category. Spoke with Travis via phone and text. He was very responsive and informative. An appointment was made and he came and gave me an assessment and recommended what was needed for the most efficient system possible. I went with a salt system plus a Reverse Osmosis under the kitchen sink also having it tied into the fridge's dispenser. Come installation day Zack; his brother. This is a family owned business. Walked me through where the placement of the system and sink would be installed and the process on what he'd have to do to tap into the existing plumbing in addition to adding a drain going into the City Sewer. Right off the bat I was extremely impressed by how considerate the team was. A drop cloth was laid on the garage floor over my finish to prevent any scratches over the work area. The attention to detail that was put into the layout of the piping was perfect. Material was in copper and PVC where deemed appropriate. During the time for me shopping around for a company that I trusted to complete this job.. was viewing prior work that was completed and how clean the end result was(plumbing layout) via here on yelp. I wanted their work shown in my garage. The products they used were nevertheless quality. Made in America. That's what I was paying for.. The others may not have the quality in mind and overseas sourced parts. I wanted a long lasting system in my house. The difference from untreated water and treated is night and day. How it smells, tastes and feels on your skin was worth every penny. There were also miscellaneous water leaks around the house that was also repaired during this process as well. The work space was clean and maintained at the end of each day. With my schedule during the day there were times when I stepped out on multiple occasions. The team was left alone and my trust was with them with my property. Travis and Zack are very knowledgeable with water treatment and plumbing. Professional and courteous. They do residential as well as commercial. I would not hesitate to call them again for any other needs in relation to anything in the plumbing industry. Perfect for when your electrician husband thinks he is a plumber, and your closet wall and floor are filling with water you can't stop! Not only did Travis answer on the first ring, on a Saturday, late in the day, but he was here FAST. He was kind, understanding (despite the state of panic in our house, dogs included), and fixed issues with our shower we didn't even know we had. The cost was surprisingly reasonable considering the late Saturday emergency call. We had called several places first, all went to voicemail as expected on a late Saturday, and when one of Goode's competitors called me back later, even he said "we were in great hands". We highly recommend and will definitely use them again in the future (hopefully not on an emergency basis)! I contacted Goode Plumbing about servicing a tankless water heater and finishing a pre-plumbed gas jet for a barbeque. Travis Goode and I wound up having a conversation about options to filter "Clovis water" and replumbing my tankless water heater to facilitate annual maintenance. I had Travis install a whole house filtration water filtration system, replumb my tankless water heater and finish the gas jet on my patio. I'm completely satisfied with all the work Goode Plumbing did for me. I also appreciate the time Travis took to inspect the job before providing an estimate which identified the lack of bypass valves to facilitate maintenance for my tankless water heater, and more importantly, my builder mixing ferrous and non-ferrous components in my hot water lines that was causing corrosion in the system. If you're interested in a whole house water filtration system I highly recommend Goode Plumbing. I was impressed with Travis from our first contact. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He came out to our house on a holiday for no charge to assess our problem. We ended up having to repipe our entire house. Throughout the entire process communication was excellent. I recently utilized GOODE Plumbing to fix an underground leak in a metal pipe from my well to the house and barn. When I called Travis he was out of town, but came by about 7 pm when he got back into town. He had a hand help pump to clear the water out of the hole where the pipe was exposed. He made the determination that it could not be patched, but had to be placed. I ask him to give me a range on what it would cost me to have it fixed. I told him I had another plumber that had come out earlier that day. He knew the company and said he would probably be more expensive. With the other plumber that had come out earlier; I had to bail the water out of the hole for him. They sent me a quote for twice the amount, couldn't do the job for a week, estimated it would take 1 - 3 days to complete the job. They also stated that the repairs may cost more if there were other problems with the pipes. I went with GOODE Plumbing not only because they were less expense, but were more professional. Travis and Zack worked from about 8 am until about 7 pm. They did an excellent job and were able to get my water back on since my primary concern was water for my livestock. I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing job. Their customer service was outstanding and was extremely polite and understanding.
