I was very disappointed with my experience. Communication was extremely poor from start to finish. It was difficult to get anyone to answer the phone or return calls, and I was left waiting for updates with little to no follow-up. Customer service was lacking, and I ultimately decided to use a different pool company because I no longer felt confident that my concerns were a priority. If I could give negative stars I would. We just had our 3rd liner installed because the 2nd installed by Sparkle was not done properly. It did not even last 5 years because they never prepped the pool before install, which lead to never ending problems, leaks, wrinkles and ultimately completely tearing when we opened the pool this season. Not to mention customer service is beyond horrific. So my advice find another company for your very expensive project. read more

If you are looking at pool installation companies, it is likely that this is a life-long dream...who doesn't want a pool? However, dealing with Sparkle will bring a nightmare. I will not go through the blow-by-blow, but they had to install three different liners before getting it right (mostly at their own expense, but at significant frustration). From the point ground was broken to when installation of the patio started was 5 months, and their mason contractor has still not completed the job. The contract was signed in February 2019. They also threatened to walk away leaving a big hole in the ground. Getting a pool is EXCITING! Don't let this poorly run outfit tarnish your dream. There are plenty of other pool companies out there. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. We have never had such a bad experience with a company, ever. **BEWARE** - Paid $450 to open pool. No water testing completed when opening pool. In 24hrs, the water was so cloudy that you couldn't see the 2nd step (Sparkle closed our pool last fall as well) Tested water ourselves (next day) using Clorox test strips & photo app to find zero on both total and free chlorine. In addition, our system was not generating any chlorine due to the pool salt level being @ 2000 (chlorinator requires min 2600 salt lever to generate chlorine) Sparkle never added salt or informed us of current salt level due to not water testing) Had to add 3 gallons of 12.5% hypochlorite, 3 bags of shock, 1 bag of stabilizer and 6 bags of salt to satisfy total/free chlorine, PH, alkalinity and stabilizer expectations. Water was finally clear after 2 more days. I called the office to verify what the $450 opening fee covers and management confirmed that it only covers taking off the cover, vacuuming (which was impossible due not being able to see the bottom) and turning on the equipment. They stated that it also covers up to 5 gallons of shock / chlorine (which as stated above, zero chlorine was present the next day). It is impossible to properly open a pool without testing the water to know what chemicals and how much of each is needed to balance the water to be ready to swim safely in. Reasonably priced and top notch customer service. Our first time using this company and we were greatly pleased. We couldn't get the pool opening scheduled for the last week of May; but the company surprised us by calling us back with an opening. The two staff members explained everything thoroughly to my husband, even offered tips on saving electricity (pool pump and motor). We have been living here three years and have so far, used several companies who have disappointed us. We are very happy with Sparkle Pools and are enjoying a great Summertime of swimming thanks to them. read more

I just bought a house with a pool in Dover, and while I've had a pool once before, this one is much larger with a lot more stuff to deal with, so I had Sparkle come out to take a look and let me know how to work everything. They sent a pool tech guy named Joey and he couldn't be more helpful. He arrived on time and really took his time showing me how to operate everything and essentially maintain the pool myself. The appointment cost a few bucks, but the whole time I realized how much I'd be saving over paying someone to maintain the pool for me, or doing something wrong and destroying my filter, pump, etc. I needed supplies that Joey suggested and went to their shop in Dover, and the staff there was extremely helpful as well As I was starting my own pool work. I had a few other questions which were cheerfully and patiently answered by the office staff. I am very happy with Sparkle Pool's service. read more

My husband and I were hoping to get a quote for a new inground pool. We have waited weeks for a call back. This week, we finally received a call and setup an appointment for a new quote. On Saturday, we received call from the assigned salesman that he had an emergency and had to reschedule for Sunday. We are human and therefore, understand emergencies. However, when you cancel on a Saturday; reschedule for Sunday; fail to show on Sunday; and then, don't even return calls, our patience runs thin. Sales is a tough business and I assume pool sales can be even more difficult than most. How this company stays in business with such poor customer service is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother calling Sparkle Pools. The relaxation you would desire from having a pool will deteriorate quickly by having to deal with such disrespectful; dismissive and irresponsible customer service. read more

Where to start? Guess I'll start with Gary the Sales Coordinator. He was always on time and very honest about what could and could not be done. He called back whenever I had a question and answered it immediately! That's just something you do not get from many companies. I was then placed in the hands of Brad the Job Coordinator, again every bit as efficient as Gary. Brad told me when the job would be started and was very honest about them being close to a year behind due to the amount of work they were receiving because of the Pandemic. He then called me about a month and a half early and said they would be able to do it sooner! The date came for the installation and they were here exactly when they said they would be! The on-site crew was nothing short of spectacular. They were polite courteous and super efficient. The pool had water in it in a day and a half (it was during the heat wave and you wouldn't know it the way these guys worked). Next came the electrician also courteous and efficient! Then came the start up crew. They were very thorough and knowledgeable and had things up and running in no time flat. The final phase was the decking around the pool. The masons consisted of a Father and his three sons. Absolutely beautiful job! They were done in a day. Now throughout a majority of the time that all these activities were occurring Doug the project manager remained in constant contact to keep me informed of what to expect next. He answered to any concerns I may have had in a professional and knowledgeable manner. He came out several times to show me the operations and also to assure me that things were going smoothly. His knowledge and likeability would be an asset to any company regardless of the industry! To the owner of Sparkle Pools: Keep these guys happy, you're going to want to retain them for a long time! I called Sparkle at the beginning of the season to look into a filter issue I was having. There was definitely some lack of of communication with Tammy but I finally had a serviceman stop by on his way back to the Denton store. Nice guy but he did not seem to know much more about the filter than I did. He did however state many times he could not leave without getting the payment. After he did leave I found the filter wasn't fixed at all so I contacted Tammy and she advised "I will get you back on the schedule." I waited, with my pool getting greener and greener until I finally contacted someone else and advised Tammy I would like my mine back. I have been waiting 2 months and still no courtesy of a reply. read more

Service technicians who opened our pool, left after all they did was removed and folded the cover, installed the ladder and rail, and installed two baskets, one which they claimed was incorrect, however was purchased at their store in Easton. While I never checked that day to see what was actually done, I was free to do so on Saturday, three days after it was supposedly opened. What I found has horrified me, the filter pump had been running for three days, eight hours per day, with no water running through it. I also noticed that one of the bypass handles were broken. Since I had to pay for the Polaris repair, I went to the store in Easton to inquire about this so called opening. One individual their appeared to be speaking to someone on the phone on my behalf, but I now have otherwise different thoughts on what actually occurred. After a week of no communications from Sparkle Pools, we called, and supposedly the service technicians who supposedly opened my pool left a note, that they had to return to replace a O-ring. I am wondering about where this note was supposedly left at, I never saw a note. Maybe, training the service technicians to call and speak to someone instead of leaving a note. Another week has passed by, still no communications from Sparkle Pools about when they plan to come to finish the job which has now been paid for and I get a bill for additional parts. I would not recommend using Sparkle Pools for service, although I may consider still using them for my chemical supplies but only at the Easton store. read more

We had Sparkle Pools install a inground pool with a liner about 6 years ago. We have had them service the pool ever since. The pool looks great, and the install went very well. Sometimes in the past the weekly service has been uneven, but overall we are happy, even after 6+ years. Whenever I have called about a problem, it's been resolved satisfactorily. read more

I have mixed emotions about Sparkle Pool in Easton. They installed our pool 10 years ago. We decided to upgrade and install coping around the pool. The installation went without a hitch, and we were very satisfied with how the pool looked. Our saleswoman told us she was sending out her "best" team to do the coping... but apparently, they were busy, and we got someone else who did a lousy job on our coping - if I had known it was going to look less than professional, I would have skipped it altogether. When I called our saleswoman back, she came out and looked at it. Her reply? "I've seen worse." 10 years have passed and we needed to replace the liner. I thought I'd give Sparkle one more try. So, I called and we ordered a liner. Once again, the people who came out to install the liner did a fabulous job (five stars). However, they informed us that the company they ordered the liner from had neglected to send two cover strips that hide the stainless steel screws where the liner attaches to the pool. I called Sparkle and talked to a woman there, who called me back and told my husband that I would have to buy a whole roll of the stripping for $125. Although this was a part of the installation, NO effort was made to try to correct this. I called back several times and spoke to someone in service who said they would have the owner return my call. It's been over a week now, still no call from the owner. Hey owner, HEADS UP... YOUR SERVICE TOTALLY SUCKS. read more
