on vacation in Las Vegas and purchased a Groupon to use for a mani/pedi. When I called to set the appt, they refused to honor the Groupon. They stated they no longer accept Groupons, even those previously purchased. The owner offers no resolution, I had to contact Groupon to request a refund of the purchase price. This is unprofessional for the business and a clear violation of he Groupon terms of service. Stay away! read more

I feel superrr hesitant to write this review. My sister and I decided to stop in to get our eyebrows waxed. We had never been here before, but this place was recommended to us by our coworker, and it was like 5 minutes down the street from our job. We were told to request Tammy, and she was so sweet. Super nice and smiling the whole time. We didn't have to wait long either, even though we were walkins. The only reason for 3 stars is because I'm not sure how I feel about certain things I saw while we were getting our eyebrows done. The same stick was used throughout my sisters service, being dipped in the same wax. I'm sure the same happened during my service. The bed we laid on was covered with a bunch of towels, and I'm not sure if they're replaced between each service? When my sister had her brows done, they put this headband on her to pull back her hair, but I'm assuming they use that headband on other clients too. Now, don't get me wrong, our eyebrows look amazing. And Tammy was awesome. I'm just not sure how I feel about the other things I've listed. read more

I've been coming here with my mom and grandma for pedicures for a few months and we love it here! We tried many places in the area before finding Sparkle Nail Bar. The customer service, quality of service, and overall vibes are far superior to anything else we tried. We always get pedicures so that is all I can personally testify too but the gel lasts always 3 and sometimes up to 4 weeks for me. The nail techs spend time making sure everything looks good and I have never felt that they were rushed or did not give me excellent service. I would definitely recommend! 10/10 read more

I'm blown away, every patron and employee were wearing masks. Sanitation was on point, no dust anywhere except occupied work stations. Floors clean and waxed and instruments were brand new and opened in front of me. I'm pleased with my pedicure (my apologies for not asking your name), the technician did a splendid job. I've never had a pedicure with a light touch, not once did I feel any discomfort. I love how steps ascend to the foot tub, the atmosphere is very relaxing (music was great too). I came here to get simple gel color on my natural nails and a regular pedicure for my wedding. Both the pedicure and manicure were subpar. The nail technician redid my nails because they were the wrong color, shape and my cuticle was flooded with polish - they just looked bad. The second job was only marginally better. They got the color correct but the nail technician filed my nails AFTER applying & curing the gel polish. Several of my nails were already lifting the next day. Additionally my cuticles were cut too aggressively so they were peeling the very next day. Lastly, the gel polish was not applied evenly so several nails had texture. It just looked messy. We were in Vegas and needed a manicure. We called around and the other salons were all busy. We found Sparkle Nail Bar and they weren't busy and accepted walk ins. We decided to do both Mani/pedi. The one employee talked me into a deluxe pedi. She said I would really enjoy the mask. So I agreed. That was a big mistake. The employee picked a small box that had several envelopes inside. Each envelope was part of the experience, if you want to call it that. The employee opened each one and rubbed it on my feet and then put my feet right into the water. She repeated each step and placed my feet right into the water. Where was the mask or the massage? She cut my nails but did not do any filing. The best part of this pedi was the massage chair. After I finished the pedi she took me over to the mani station. The mani wasn't any better. She didn't use any clippers to cut the excess skin off my nails. She used a scrapper that didn't take much of the skin off. I walked out having more pain on my fingers then when I walked in. The hand massage was just as bad or lacked as my foot massage. I was sticker shocked when my mani/pedi was $60 plus tip. I gave it two stars only because of the massage chair. read more

The place is really cute and all and the staff seems pretty nice....but the lady who did my nails did a pretty crappy job they are too thick and not shaped correctly which I thought I could I've with not a huge deal but my dip nails are already lifting and I havent even had them on for a whole week...pretty over priced if you ask me...my pedicure was amazing tho the only reason I'm giving this place more than 1 star...my toes were pretty messed up and the guy who did them fixed them all up :))) Update....after writing this review I took a shower and my hair caught on my index nail (one day shy of being one week after getting them done) and my hair pulled off my nail...so i was like great i have to take the rest off...i pulled up on the other index finger nail and that just popped right off too...disappointed read more

**UPDATE** The owner responded to this review in a very rude manner and I am only giving my Real opinion. He said he was going to upload a video of me which is ILLEGAL! So please keep this in mind if you think @ going here. Pretty creepy saying you are going to upload videos of clients at a so called professional establishment! Yikes. Literally called @ 5 diff places and just Randomly picked one. Unfortunately I regret going here for these reasons: 1. The nail tech was also working on another lady while doing my nails. I don't appreciate that bc I pay for MY time not for you to double book yourself to make more $. 2. Then she answered the phone in the middle of doing my nails and took someone else's appt. -you need to hire a receptionist so only THEY answer the phone and don't waste my valuable time. I want 100% attention when I'm paying for a service. 3. My nails are all scratched and no longer smooth so I def won't be doing gel anymore. Too time consuming to get it removed & it's burned. Guess I'm just not high maintenance enough and I'm fine with that. 4. Then to top it off while I was drying my nails some strange homeless woman came into the salon and was given permission to basically harass and beg for money to every one of the salon clients. I told her I'm not buying anything and told the other male employee that bc of this I will not come back here! He should NOT let ppl come in and beg customers for money when we are just trying to relax-it was VERY unprofessional and I will never go to any salon that allows this. Period. I'm still on the path to find a decent professional and clean nail salon. *Sigh* I demand a clean, professional & friendly place that does a good job has decent prices and doesn't rush through your service. I've been going to this nail bar for over 2 years. I drive all the way from Green Valley Ranch in Henderson to get my nails done. The technician that had been doing my nails for over 2 years is no longer here. She was really good at her craft, and I never had any complaints. I've been back 3 times since she left and it will not be a 4th time. I have seen 2 different technicians during these visits, and their work is not good. The owner, Adam is very good at making things right. This is not going to work anymore, and I refuse to drive all the way across town for my nails to not be done right! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I've had more good times than bad. My very first visit to this shop, the technician did a lousy job and Adam took care of it. I got my nails done on 2/9 and they look horrible. They are uneven and way too thick. read more

I honestly hate leaving bad reviews but this one really bugged me. I called in to schedule an appt for SNS She said ok I went in and first they sat me down with a girl put my tips in acetone for removal 10 mins passed and another girl came to get me (neither of these girls knew how to remove SNS it was just horrible a whole hour just to remove the material. She finally finished my nails after almost two hours ! I went in on Friday Saturday morning one of my nails chipped and the gloss polish they placed all chipped off as well ugh! Then throughout the week almost all of them chipped away IF YOU'VE HAD SNS DONE BEFORE YOU KNOW THEY LAST UP TO 3 weeks ! Less than a week after all my nails have lifted off. Will definitely not be coming back. What a waste of time and money. read more

First visit here last week and I had two ladies work on my hands on mainly took off my old fill and filed down then the other one did the rest. I got the red chrome look and I'm obsessed with it but the left hand is done well except the pinky was a little clumpy at the edge . And my right hand was a little thick and under the nail had excess acrylic which my other salons would file down. Absolutely horrible. I went in with my best friend right before our trip to Europe only to have my nails done so poorly and the whole paint come off in 1 week while we were away. The lady that did my nails, did them standing up in like 5 minutes. She did not take her time at all and made them the clumpiest, most thick nails ever. Her and the owner tried to claim that it was the shape of my nail. No honey, I've had gel before and paint my own nails regularly and they have never looked that way. Ever. Its poor job and poor excuse to use from the owner and the nail. Even apart from the clumpiness, she didn't even paint the edges well. The owner had her "fix" them, but all she did was add another layer of thickness. It's a shame paying $35 and leaving a $5 tip to have your nails come COMPLETELY off in 1 WEEK. I just saw read another review who the same thing happened to. Apparently it's a common thing there. I would never waste my money here again and thankful for help so hopefully other people won't waste their money here either. read more
