I walked into iCute Nails & Spa on a whim with my husband, and from the moment we stepped in, we were warmly greeted and told there'd be a 30-minute wait for two pedicures totally fair. But before we could even blink, we were sipping on complimentary drinks and already in our chairs ahead of time! The space? Spotless, cute, and super relaxing. The best part? My husband got the VIP Netflix treatment with his own remote LOL. This is not my first time at this salon but let me tell you ! The pedicure I got today was one of the MOST detailed pedicures I have had in a VERY long time. The gentleman who did my pedicure was David and he absolutely killed it. Despite us having very little chat he was funny and very nice. I really like this place, it's clean and has a great vibe. I stumbled upon this gem as I live nearby - I needed a new nail tech & thought I'd take my 7-year-old son with me for his first mani/pedi (bc boys deserve self care too!) and I was blown away at the service provided. They doted on my kid, and Holly gave me the best pedi I've ever had in my 25+ years of getting my nails/toes done!!! She went above and beyond to make sure my feet were smoothed of any calluses, giving me a perfect base to maintain - Literally nobody had bothered to send me out of their salon with absolutely perfect feet like Holly. As for my mani, Heather did my gel-X the way it's SUPPOSED to be done - plus she did phenomenal on my design, copied to the T to the inspo photo I showed her, and charged a very fair price for the work she did - which I'm so incredibly grateful for! Heather is the nail girl I will only go to!! She educated me the difference between powder acrylic and hard gel and ever since I went with hard gel I never went back!! She takes her time with every full set I get and recreates every photo I show her! She's seriously one of the best nail techs. If I could give this salon zero I would, will never go back to iCute. The owner is just money hungry and over priced. I usually pay with Apple Pay so I never bring my purse out my car, I would use my phone. I got a gel pedicure and she said it was $70. I remembered I had $70 cash in my purse and mind you my car was parked right in front of the salon, I told her I'm gonna get my purse because I have $70 exact in cash, she said No, she said I should leave my phone with her because she thinks I'm gonna run without paying. I'm more than certain if I was Caucasian or Asian she would not have said that. And the worst part is I work for Clark County School District so for her to assume I wanted to run with her money is absurd. I have been a consumer @ this location for over 2 years. I've stuck by them w/ there continuous turnover now, I actually see "why" it's so HIGH. The attitudes & discourtous of the technology by one particular technician and I'll just give her first U.S. give initial which I known is not her actual name for coming of her from wherever she's from. But "T" is the initial l. She is rude. And feels that everyone owes her because she's been there the longest I guess. We officially were ok w| one another but once her clientele started building she became uncomfortable.& rushed when she worked on a person. Or when a person came into the shop. She felt like she was the sole owner. I would come when the shop just open wait outside she'd come open her and the other lady would speak there language speaking " about" me as I did have an appointment cause she didn't want to help me. I only come once a month & I still tip. Last month she cut my nails down wrong & has to redo them back to the length so this month when I came in I only needed & my eyebrows shr just looked up at me w/ attitude I told her what I needed Two other techs walked by they spoke with her the laughed and giggled then came to me and said there no brow tech here right now. I said ok. But that was not all I need "right,"? No one said anything about my nails So I decided and stated " no one wanted to help me? Is that right? No body responded. So I left I longer recommend this shop to anyone even though it's right around the corner from my house. read more
