Today was my 2nd pedicure experience at HQ. The first time the service was pretty poor but I wanted to try it again. Today started off great and then my pedicure tech went on break half way through. The next tech pointed to my heels and showed me a tool and I said yes please. Come to find out this was an extra 10$ for callous removal. At check out I shared that I was disappointed that she didn't massage my legs. And the owner rushed out to show me a video of her rubbing lotion on my legs and said that she did massage me! My daughter lives here and goes here all the time with no problems. I'm not that hard to please and enjoy a good leg massage at my pedicure appointments. I was really upset that they didn't apologize or take ownership for their customer satisfaction. read more

HQ Nails has great specials and I appreciated that they were able to take me in right away. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, which I really liked. However, I recommend bringing your own polish or asking if the bottle is new. My manicure came out lumpy and chipped the very next day, which was disappointing. Hoping they improve the quality of their polish because the convenience and pricing are great. read more

It took me a few tries to find my favorite technician and guess what? I found her! I ONLY get pedicures from Heather. She's the best! She's kind and she's caring. I'm currently pregnant and she's gentle, but still pampers me. Per usual, the place is clean and not too loud and chaotic. It's conveniently located in a plaza with lots of yummy food. One star is too generous. The worst manicure of my life! I had an appointment but was treated like I had barged in on their busiest day, demanding service. The color selection was disappointing, and to make matters worse, they had no one available for my pedicure, so I had to wait--no big deal at first. But after an hour, they had the (very visibly) housekeeping staff perform my pedicure. She was so unhappy about it that she openly ranted to the other staff in another language. I could tell it wasn't good because the other nail techs kept staring at me--so awkward. But whatever, I wasn't the one who made her do it. The pedicure itself was mediocre at best. No massage, no real scrubbing to remove old skin--just a soak and polish. I left with my feet still rough, which is really the only thing I care about. The gel manicure was even worse--it honestly should've been free. Lynn Vo didn't clean up the edges, so gel was stuck to my cuticles and skin, which was painful. I've never had this happen before. My fingers were left looking torn up, as if I bite my cuticles (I don't). Lynn Vo acted like I was an inconvenience, like she didn't have time for me, which was an awful feeling. I paid, but I genuinely wish I had disputed the charge because the service was so terrible. I will never set foot in this salon again. read more

Excellent first experience here on a Friday afternoon. My hubby & I had the Deluxe pedicure, and it was heavenly!! The combo came with neck massage (heated) pillow, hand massage with warming gloves, hot stone leg massage, etc. The staffs were genuinely nice (not superficial, so they can receive good tips). The spa is very clean & bright. I also love how they accept Venmo payment method too. We'll definitely return in the future. read more

I used to come here a lot for pedicures. But they always put the top coat on sloppy so you see an uneven line over your polish. I would still go there in the past because I thought this salon was still OK besides that. A few days ago, I went for a pedicure, and the nail tech cut my skin into places and it's been painful ever since. I'm shocked that a professional can be so careless. She was nice and friendly though that's why it's not a one star review. I'm sorry to say, but I will not be going back ever to this salon again. read more

I came here on Feb 2nd for a full set and pedicure. I had a design in mind which matched perfectly. I had great customer service and I was happy with the services I received. Unfortunately after 5 days the acrylic chipped on one nail. In the past 3 days, 2 of my nails popped off like they were press-ons. Not sure if it's just bad quality of acrylic or what but I wouldn't recommend for a future visit. read more

The ladies were very nice. My wife and niece had mani and pedi. My niece was satisfied, but my wife's nails chipped the next day. I had a pedi and they were very rough on my feet and was actually abrasive. We used to live in town but had moved away and came back for the Holidaze. We love the European Massage School - the best value in town, and since this place was next door, we decided to go here to limit driving. Definitely should have gone elsewhere in my opinion. I've been coming to HQ consistently since July 2023 and they are always courteous, professional and clean. I probably come once a month because my nails stay nice and just grow out. I started with 2 different nail techs and they were great, but since then I have been regularly getting my gel mani/pedi from Gia, the only gentleman there. He's sweet, efficient and his work speaks for itself. I'm a simple nail girl I don't like a lot on my nails, just clean nails, mostly different color French nails and he absolutely makes my nails looks so pretty and clean! This is the third time we've gone to the shop. I've been fortunate that the lady that polished my nails did a good job, but my daughter three times now they don't give her the color that she asked for because she's only allowed to wear specific colors to work and they always screw it up. Her shape of her nails are mismatched. Some of them are thick summer thin summer longer than the others and then she asked for the color 109 which is a white with different little speckles. She comes home with blue green nails that she's totally disappointed in shower so ask for a pedicure she got tossed between three different people and end up paying $30 for a 15 minute crappy pedicure and again the colors don't even match so disappointed third time that she's walked out of there paying good money and even I don't know why she tips them because they don't do a good job. I recommend you don't go there because there's only one nail attendant that knows what she's doing. Unfortunately she's on vacation. read more

Was looking for a go-to spot for a mani/pedi that's close by, spacious, clean, relaxing, and not too complicated for my regular basic nail fix. HQ nails fits all of these! I'm surprised I didn't discover them sooner. Their facility is nice and upgraded. Great massage chairs too! They have tons of color options. All of their nail technicians are nice, competent, thorough and give great massages. They also use tub liners and wear gloves. My new nail place! Heather did an amazing job with my gel mani & pedi. I like how detailed she is and her polish application is great! Some nail places have uneven application and don't really do a good job of cleaning your cuticles and the edges lift as your nails grow which I hate because my hair gets caught in it when I'm shampooing my hair. Will be seeing Heather again. My friend joined me and said the lady that gave her gel pedi did a great job as well. We were both happy when we left. read more

I went today to get a mani, pedi and my eyebrows waxed. I had Linh, it was the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. To start off, she was CONSTANTLY on her phone. At one point another employee had to tell her to get off of it. Worst pedicure I have ever paid for. Did not even give me a foot massage because she was scrolling on her phone, instead just threw a hot towel on my legs. My nails were next and she had my nails all different lengths. I had to tell her multiple times that my nails were not the same length or even straight. Next, she did my eyebrows .... NEVER let this lady do your eyebrows!! Told me to sit in the chair instead of lay on the table. And when I looked at my eyebrows ... I get my eyebrows done once every two - three weeks I just needed a clean up. ONE of my eyebrows is completely ruined. The space between both is massive and she waxed off the tail of my eyebrow. Now I have a long eyebrow and a short eyebrow. Messed up the arch and now it looks like I got a bad Botox job because one eyebrow has an arch and the other is straight across. I used to love coming here, I will never return. Also, told me the total was $70 and I was charged $77. Be careful ladies read more

Whenever I'm a new customer to a salon, I usually care about customer service rather than technique (but that matters too, of course!) that I always start with a basic color just to be safe. I care more about how I'm going to be treated to determine if I want to be a loyal customer. Now, that doesn't give me or anyone else the right to act like a pr1ck or think that the customer is always right. Here are my reasons for the 5 stars: 1. Although I scheduled my appt on the same day, they were willing to see me 45 min before they closed. They close at 7pm and I get off at 6pm. I asked if I could come in 15 min later and they accommodated me. I stayed 30 min past closing without feeling rushed. 2. I knew what I wanted - dip powder mani and regular polish toes that are similar in color. When I walked in, they told me that all I had to do was pick out a mani color. They already have a matching color set for different types of polish, which I thought was really cool! I'm used to most salons that make you pick out your own colors for both the mani or pedi, or the nail tech will find something that looks similar to them. 3. When I scheduled my appt, I asked the tech/owner if it's okay for me to still be seen at the end of day and she said it was fine. Before I left, she brought the topic back up saying that I shouldn't worry if I get off work at 6pm because she's willing to see me and do my nails. Her tone was beyond sincere and as a customer that meant a lot to me! 4. I had 2 techs - one worked on my feet and the other on my hands. Both prepped and colored.. What I liked is that they never switched positions and finished all the way through the moment they started. I've had techs switch midway or one tech needs to immediately leave to start on another client, which I would find annoying, these two ladies were amazing! I will most definitely be coming back! read more

I've been here a couple times now but after the last visit will NOT be returning. I'm writing this because I have literally been awake half the night in pain due to the worst pedicure of my life. The tech, Linh, yanked out the side of my toenail (that was not ingrown) I'm now afraid it will be infected, it was the most painful experience and still is incredibly painful. I received about a 2 min massage, IF that. I don't know if you can consider simply putting a small about of lotion on my legs a massage. The gel painting is awful and uneven and the shaping is completely uneven as well. As for my dip manicure, I've spent hours trying to *fix* all the edges myself and file to make more even. Never again. I do not recommend this place. read more

I've been to this nail salon a couple of times and had great experiences. This time was very different. I think the nail tech's name was Linh. She was so rough when cutting my cuticle and filing my nails that it caused me to bleed. Not only did she blame it on me by saying I "scrubbed" too hard when I went to wash my hands with just water (mind you I've gotten my nails done many times before and never had this issue), but she put super glue on it which made it look even worse. The rest of my nails were extremely uneven and streaky. I walked back to my car and started crying. I got this color for a special occasion and I honestly wish I had gone somewhere else. Had the deluxe pedicure and for the money I think it was well worth it! The package came with lots of extra services that were included. I had the foot treatment with a foot scrub massage, bath bomb,foot wrap with heated foot slippers, hot stone massage as well as a hand treatment which also came with heated gloves. All in all great experience clean and relaxing environment. They also provided a heated and lavender infused neck pillow, which felt wonderful along with the massage chairs which were fabulous, very comfortable and plush.
