She is beyond patient, incredibly kind, and clearly cares so much about the dogs she works with. My puppy is now totally comfortable with her to the point that he was literally falling asleep during his groom. She even sent me a photo with my receipt which was the cutest touch ever. When I came to pick him up, he was sitting on her lap waiting for me. They are totally bonded. The first time I went was at 5:30, thinking I had until 7 pm to get the DIY wash done. I was told the store closed at 7 pm, BUT the DIY dog wash closed at 6 pm, so I only had half an hour. I knew that wasn't going to be enough time, so we left and came back the next day, much earlier. The staff was empathetic and very nice both times. The wash went well, and the staff was super-helpful, equipped with towels, a choice of shampoo (or bring your own if you like), and clearly articulated instructions. The water was hot to the touch. I was told a new water heater was to blame, but if I waited a minute or two, the water would cool off and become warm, which it did. My pup was not pleased at all with the "blow-dry" setup. It is a loud shop vac with hoses extending through the drying bays. We politely aborted that part of the process. It was actually okay, since we had enough towels to get her 90% dry. I was happy with the outcome.

They get to hang out together and actually play and socialize. The staff is caring and attentive, and I always feel comfortable leaving him there. Scheduling was super easy (via email, with prompt responses) and I sent over vet records ahead of the appt. We arrived at 11am and got him checked in, they called when they were ready to start and we talked about doing just a "standard" doodle cut, keeping him cool for summer. We picked him up around 4pm and he was SO handsome! The matted fur in his ears was good, we could see his eyes, he smelled delicious and he looked like a new dog! When calling the salon, I was told that she used the same length clippers throughout his body & that my dog just has uneven hair growth. While I believe what she said, I believe that even with his uneven hair growth that this situation could have been avoided. He has never received such a bad haircut before. When i asked the groomer about shaving g after i asked her not to, she said "i just did what i did last time". UGH. if that wasn't bad enough my dogs ear was cut and bleeding and had 2 high clumps of blood. Called and left the owner a msg to call me and no return phone call. DO NOT take your dog her. Really bad business not to even call me back. My dogs ear is still healing a week later
