I think I just found the cutest studio in the OC! Seriously, I haven't experienced something like this here so far. The different texture walls and the props are beautiful. Jennifer the owner, who is super sweet by the way, has thought of everything from bohemian interior to classy French chateau vibes. There are so many different uses to the studio and the quality of light is just amazing throughout the whole day. I was shooting there mid day and I thought I would have to use my flashes but I actually haven't even turned them on. So to all of you natural light photographers this place is heaven. The other part I liked about it is that the minimum rental time is 2 hours instead of 3 or even more like in some other studios. It is also very reasonably priced. I couldn't recommend it more! read more

The photo studio is stunningly beautiful and Jenny is a pleasure to work with! I'm a calligrapher and have been working at the studio for a styled shoot. The light is amazing and makes for great photos. But there's also all the details and love that Jenny put into setting up her studio. The first thing to know is the studio is in between two shops. There's a door that will take you up to the second floor where the studio is located and where Jennifer will greet you. It's definitely difficult to find a well-decorated studio with large windows for soft lighting in Orange County. You'll probably get the brightest light with the most shadows until 10 am. Then the light is even and excellent until about 3 pm when it gets warmer. Thanks, Jennifer! For the price, I didn't mind because we had a blast going through every corner of the room and zipping through the suitcase that carried the wardrobe. read more

This studio definitely 'sparks' joy! It's easy to access right off of Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach. Parking is ample and free - who doesn't love that? The owner Jennifer and her staff are helpful and friendly. You can tell that she put her heart and soul into this studio. Spark is beautifully curated and very clean. I have been looking for a beautiful natural light studio close to me that I didnt have to drive to LA for so I was so excited when Spark Studios opened up. I have shot here 5 times now and each time I fall more in love with the light and classic feel of the space. I know that I am delivering photos to my clients that they will cherish for many years to come. The wall options are so versatile and I love that there is a separate changing room in case there is an outfit change. Morning is my favorite time to shoot there because the light coming through the window is just perfect. I absolutely fell in love with this studio when I saw a few photos online, but when I walked in my jaw dropped! It's a really intimate space, but it offers SO much! every wall is a whole new backdrop and when I had my clients walk in, they were so impressed. Not to mention there was solid AC going the whole time, which surprisingly is hard to find in a lot of studio spaces (at least the ones that I've used in the past). I'm so grateful to have found Spark Studios in Huntington Beach. I used to use a grungy studio in Anaheim because it was affordable, but the props/rooms were very dirty. Spark studio is affordable and on brand! There is so much natural light and it's always impeccably clean. White sheets, white curtains, ZERO dust bunnies. It's decorated with amazing dried florals and a HUGE installation. She has spared no expense in renovating the space and making it inviting and an easy to use space. The owner, Jennifer, is a photographer and created the space with a photographers eye in mind. I will use this studio from now until forever! read more
