Recently did a first swift session with them after a referral and checking them out on Instagram. It was perfect as I didn't know what to expect to be honest. I'm so awkward whenever anyone takes my pics, but decided 15min shouldn't be too bad! Here are some thoughts: 1. Location is easy to find. I really enjoyed our Swift Session with Spark Studio! It was the perfect quick 15 minute-ish family photo opportunity with our 3 month old. I found them on Instagram and really loved their natural lighting and chic studio set up and booked directly online for a weekday session in November. You can choose from 3 different studios and we picked the Bedroom. When we got there their Main Studio had a Christmas tree, which would've been perfect for the holidays, so something to keep in mind for next time! I also opted to rent a dress from their wardrobe for an extra free. I loved how the team kept trying to engage our baby for the perfect shot during our session. They also helped fix my hair in between photos and gave suggestions on how to pose. They kept it fun and easy! Also loved how clean and open the studio was. I just had my maternity shoot in their Main studio w/ Sonia & Chantel last month & had to come back this month for our newborn shoot at their Villa & Bedroom studios. The second story, east facing building is filled with large windows, delicately designed props and plenty of wide open space. I just shoot a half day at Spark Studios and was very impressed but the set up and space. I shoot all natural light and the entire time the space was filled with beautiful light. The space has floor to ceiling windows along with five different handcrafted walls which I was able to shoot multiple looks in. The studio has a dressing room and easy parking. We took our family photos at spark and they came out so good! We did the swift session and these ladies were great with our 8 month old twins. They captured my little fam beautifully. They were so sweet and accommodating! We felt so comfortable. I think I just found the cutest studio in the OC! Seriously, I haven't experienced something like this here so far. The different texture walls and the props are beautiful. Jennifer the owner, who is super sweet by the way, has thought of everything from bohemian interior to classy French chateau vibes. There are so many different uses to the studio and the quality of light is just amazing throughout the whole day. I was shooting there mid day and I thought I would have to use my flashes but I actually haven't even turned them on. So to all of you natural light photographers this place is heaven. The other part I liked about it is that the minimum rental time is 2 hours instead of 3 or even more like in some other studios. It is also very reasonably priced. I couldn't recommend it more! read more
