Overall it's a good place to meet and enjoy the feel of books. Great meeting place to go over projects and get information. A little to quiet for me. Lol. Never was able to stay quiet.

If you are a resident of Boca Raton, head to this library to get your free library card and all the additional free online newspapers and other apps that allow you to get ebooks and movies for free! I will have to return to walk around the inside more but it was nice and quiet if you want to study or read here. It's right next to a pond and park that you can walk around as well. The staff was super helpful and explained all the services they offer when I went to get the library card.

One of the most elegant, majestic libraries in Florida with that mansion-style architecture and the pond behind the library. I love this library just because it is beautiful and pretty. Otherwise, a lot of volumes as well as courteous staff and even a cafe as a bonus.

This is an absolutely beautiful library. I have been coming here for years. Not only is the library building beautiful; but the surrounding grounds are even better. You can take out a book, sit on a bench outside and read; all while charging your electric car for free! This last time I discovered something new! I usually take a stroll around Blue Lake during my visits. It is a captivating lake with iguanas, all sorts of birds, fish and yes, even alligators. Be sure to heed the warning signs. The pathway around the lake is paved and there are benches scattered throughout to rest if you need to. Now they have added a new nature trail called Storywalk. When I went, it was close to dusk, so I didn't walk the whole trail. However, it was charming. They have posted signs along the way telling a story. I won't spoil your surprise, so I won't say anymore. It is a fun way to spend an afternoon with kids. From the library parking lot, just follow the signs.

Beautiful brush

It is the most beautiful library I have ever belonged to. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I read at least 1 book at week...yet whenever I'm at the library it's for a fancy party rather than to check out books. I thought throwing parties at the library was a Chicago thing, but apparently it's a Boca thing now too. When we pulled up to the library last night for my cousin's bar-mitzvah my husband exclaimed "wow, this is the nicest library I've ever seen." And he hadn't even seen the fabulous party room upstairs yet... There's an area for cocktails, a large open space for tables and a dance floor, and my favorite area...the rooftop terrace. It's all just perfect for bar-mitzvahs, corporate functions, rehearsal dinners, and perhaps even a small wedding. I'm pretty sure this is one of those spaces you have to bring everything in, but follow in my cousin's lead and hire Silver Sac as your caterer: http://www.yelp.com/biz/silver-sac-catering-boca-raton#hrid:s5D0p6fZIU5H9153Z-17kQ/src:self And don't forget the entertainment: http://www.yelp.com/biz/platinum-gold-entertainment-coral-springs#hrid:B5PeTmgONAkkYCIfvXBFWQ I think you've got yourself a party...yep, at the library!

I've also used their study rooms on a few occasions to get out of the house and have serious quiet time. As long as one has a library card, these rooms can be used for 2 hours at a time. The kid's area is a good spot to bring your little ones too, as it's a free place to kill some time - which is especially helpful in the hottest summer months. One time, I happened to be in and saw Medicaid information in Spanish which I picked up for our nanny since she had mentioned needing some info earlier, which was free. She was so grateful to have the info, all thanks to the Boca Library. So thankful to have such a quality library in my neighborhood.

I love quiet time, so the library was the perfect solution. I haven't been to a library in decades so I was pleasantly surprised at how things have changed. There are several computer stations available to use at no cost. I work on a laptop so I didn't need to use them. I did use their scanner and printer a few times. Copies are just twenty five cents and there is no charge to use the scanner. There are plenty of seating areas scattered throughout the library and the chairs are very comfortable. I appreciated that each desk has it's own desk light. Individual study rooms are available and can be reserved in advance if necessary. A few times that I needed to hop on a call, I lucked out and found an empty room. They also have a conference room that can be reserved. The staff is great, and I found them to be very helpful. They are really nice too. The security guard stationed at the entrance is friendly. There is a monthly calendar that covers the events and classes for all Palm Beach County library locations. Just ask for a copy at the front desk. Plenty of parking right in front of the building.

Our family absolutely loves Barnes & Noble -- this place is easily a 5-star favorite for us!…read more My kids have basically grown up here, and it truly feels like a second home. It's two floors of pure enjoyment. On the first floor, there's a Starbucks, which adds such a cozy touch -- you can grab a coffee, matcha, or tea and just sit down with a book and relax. The store is very -- there's an elevator and escalators, making it easy with kids. The second floor has an amazing kids' section with books and toys. And not just any toys -- they're actually high-quality, unique, and very thoughtfully curated. There are also areas where kids can play, and even a small stage where they host storytime on certain days -- such a magical experience for little ones. Everything is always clean and comfortable. I especially love the carpeted floors -- it makes it so easy to just sit down anywhere, even on the floor, with a book and your coffee and enjoy the moment. The book selection is huge, including lots of activity books, crafts, and educational materials. My kids absolutely love it here -- there's always something new to explore, create, and learn. Restrooms are clean, staff is friendly, and the location is great. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as a Whole Foods Market and other shops. Parking is also very convenient. Overall, this is one of our favorite places to spend time as a family. Highly recommend!
