Cool club. Love the interior. I like the way they have seating set up. Nice to have l e music in the hotel.

As natives we were really excited about going to see the Band of Oz. However, we arrived, paid our cover, found a seat,(was told down on floor was for reserved seating) Okay, we sat at a table on the rail. Moments later we were told we had to move that they were reserved too! Well, why didn't you tell us at the door or when you told us about the floor seats? We patron this business when it is dead empty but...not anymore! They were quite rude about it and I should have demanded our cover charge back as we left! Another thing, why no dance floor? Maybe you should advertise that it is concert style! I would not have gone knowing that there would be no dancing! Hope you made a mint...we will no longer patron this establishment! It is so sad that the true locals get treated this poorly when we are the ones that go during your off season. read more

College week party is awesome. Cover is $10 cash only, they have an ATM but just be prepared to bring your own cash. You want to make sure to get there early otherwise you might be standing outside waiting to get in... So be there by 11pm, crowd get crazy by midnight. They have four bars and getting there early you can get a drink or two before the crowd hits. Just do not open a tab. It took 15 minutes to order my beer, another 15 minutes for them give me my card back. I finished my beer before they could even close my tab. The second night I went I paid for each round and it was much quicker. They have a wide range of music, hits from the early 2000s all the way to 2019. Terrible Stay away!!!!! went New Years to see the Embers drove 4 hours big Embers fans did not even stay after waiting an hour most of group that waited with us left angry too!!!!!!!! no dancing club as we could not have even had room to dance at a beach club no chairs available to sit in or table to sit at Standing room only so clearly oversold crowd no food available to order so this Is not a restaurant unresponsive to phone calls and e-mails to reserve a table so impossible to get a table reservation even had cover to hear a very old sad couple DJ in the adjacent restaurant that doesnt even sell food???? I'm surprised there's not more reviews of this place, it gets packed out. There's a $10 cash cover charge, and a $10 minimum for credit cards at the bar. It was super annoying having a tab open because it took forever to close it. The bars get really packed. I ordered my last drink and asked to close my tab. They gave me my drink, I waited for 30 minutes to get my card. People were telling me to move out of the way since I got my drink, I had to tell them I was waiting for my card. Jokes on the bartenders because I was taking up space at their bar so they couldn't make more drinks. I went another night and paid in cash. So much easier. They have a large staff. Lots of bouncers all over the place. One man working there did a great job at making sure all empty drinks were thrown away. They try to keep it as clean as they can. read more

For a ten dollar cover charge, I would say this place is alright. Definitely wouldn't recommend coming in sober cause this place is wild and the number of sweaty bodies is just overwhelming. If you like edm mixes then this place is for you. I definitely recommend it if you're coming here for college beach week but otherwise I have no idea how this place is during the rest of the year. The place is really spacious-- two dance floors (one large and one smaller salsa dance floor) and a patio to sit outside. The line to get inside didn't take long at all and they had two lines to go in. The drinks are pretty watered down and there's a poorly advertised ten dollar minimum for card which was annoying. I was really not impressed... the bartender also was slow and didn't seem to know how to serve people at the bar in the correct order. At least they were nice??? read more

Ohhh spee gee...I don't know what to do about you. Were drinks reasonably priced? Yes Was there a cover charge? Yes, but only five dollars Was there dancing and good music? Yes SO it would appear that I should give you at least four stars. But the things holding me back from ranking it higher include, but are not limited to: the vomit covered floors refered to by michelle, sketchy-ass undergrads or recent grads or former grads trying to relive the glory days, and last but not least, a couple doing 69 on the floor. WAIT WHAT? in public? on the dance floor? in a crowded sweaty club? ummm i don't understand. whatever, fun times were had by most, if not all, and the scenery can not be described in words--you must see it for yourself. i will therefore, reluctantly give you four stars spee gee. just for the memories. read more

This is another of the North Myrtle Beach "Home Clubs" for the Shag dance. While it is located in a hotel resort, rather than on Main Street, it does enjoy the front beach location and is side-by-side with the OD Pavilion. Dance floor is nice, drinks are good, and the beach music plays. What else could you want? read more

$5 cover? I think if the club wasn't the only one located remotely close to the resort I stayed in over senior week, I would not have gone. I'm not really used to paying cover to a club like this (North Myrtle isn't even that big a city...). On the bright side, the place is pretty clean when I went. The music is usually pretty decent (though they had some kind of throw-back theme last time I went that featured a bunch of rapping and a lack of dancing). Went to see Band Of Oz last night . The band was great as usually but couldn't enjoy them because of overcrowding. It was SOS so you couldn't even move in the place. No control on the amount of people that are admitted. The bouncer said no limit on capacity that was hard to believe. Bouncers didn't know how to control some of the drunks. So needless to say saw couple of shoving matches. I live in NMB and go there a year long but will never go back. It has become a zoo. read more

spanish galleon is the most disrespectful bar/club/venue i have every experienced. i have never seen bouncers be so disrepectful. it was a legitimately unsafe space. if you can, avoid at all costs. i can not emphasize enough now much lack of care, quality, and empathy the employees at spanish galleon have. truly. disrespectful. read more

Went there this past sat April 6. 13 of us. two being members. We were treated incredibly poorly by the bouncer. we had never been inside so a few of us walked around a corner and asked a security guard where the bathroom was. he replied " there's porter johns outside for white people" my friend said hold on just a minute let me get my group over here so you can repeat that. He then said you heard me white people like you aren't welcome here". He said now y'all need to leave I'm calling the police. the club is very nice the bouncer needs to go. read more
