This is a review surrounding the quote process, as I ultimately didn't go with Spangler but had a great experience. I called for a quote and spoke with Cathy, who was very friendly and engaged. Out of all the insurance agents I spoke with, Cathy asked the most relevant questions and seemed to truly care to try and get us the best rates. She also genuinely seemed happy for our new first home. Cathy got back to me with quotes within a few hours. They were great quotes. Ultimately it didn't work for us as we went with our father-in-law's agent, but the rates were very competitive and the experience overall was great. I can tell this is a quality firm. read more

I don't know how you can honestly rate an insurance agent until you need to make a claim, which thankfully has been a rare occurrence for me. However, Tom and his crew have been responsive to my needs, always available when I need to talk about coverage, even used their Notary Stamp when I needed it, even for non-insurance matters. Those cars are expensive. Very expensive. I needed more insurance. Tom went out of his way to explain all of my insurance options. No pushy sales pitches at all, just great details about different types of coverage available. After 13 years with State Farm I made the switch to Spangler Insurance for my car, and I am totally thrilled with my decision! I am saving around $30.00 a month w/Spangler! Yahoo!
