Today we had our second visit from Dan and his crew and like the last time he did not disappoint us! Last time they were here they installed 13 recessed lights along with the appropriate wall switches and three ceiling fans 2 with wall controls as well as remote controls. On that first visit they were in just about every room in our house drilling holes in the ceiling and walls and not only did they do a great job but when they were done they even took the dust with them! So when it came time to remodel our kitchen we didn't think twice about calling Dan again and even though we gave him a tight time frame on short notice he was able to work with us and get the job done in a time frame that worked for us which was impressive in this time of COVID, and on that subject Dan and all of his guys arrived fully masked which we appreciated but we weren't surprised, so they arrived on time evaluated our space recommend 5 lights in the ceiling and three over the kitchen he was also installing a new outlet under the sink for future use. We completely agreed with Dan's recommendations and away they went and in record time the job was done! One of the things that impressed me the first time Dan did work for us was their attention to detail they sweat the small stuff in addition to a through clean up when they are done, let's face it cutting into drywall is a very messy job, they leave nothing behind no fingerprints, footprints and the icing on the cake they line up all the screw heads on the switch plates and outlet covers very professional! On top of the jobs we asked Dan to do he upgraded our switches in the kitchen to be the nice modern paddle style switch as well as replacing two outlets that needed to be swapped out saved me from having to do it myself! And to top it off he upgraded the standard switch for the kitchen to a dimmer, he must have read our minds on that one, while it was something we we're definitely planning to do we never discussed it with Dan he just anticipated our needs and went ahead and did the job we would have ended up calling him back to do in the future! The pictures don't really do Dan's work justice as we still have paint to do on top of the new cabinets etc but you get the idea. Not only is Dan and his crews work top notch but the price is beyond fair and reasonable we couldn't be any happier and would never consider hiring any other electrician Dan is a true craftsmen that's passionate about what he does and dots every I and crosses every T and the same goes for his team it's a pleasure to have a contractor that isn't out to get whatever he can get out of every job and I can say with complete confidence Dan would not recommend doing work just for the sake of running up the bill in fact on this job he even charged us less than the initial quoted price and the first time he was at our house he installed two light fixtures we had purchased after he had spent the better part of the day at our house and he didn't even charge us to do it those are the kind of things that gets repeat business and Dan will continue to get our business and I would recommend his services to anyone that's needs an electrician without reservation! read more

Our parent just passed and we were left with their house to renovate and sell. We called for a general once over of the electrical and a few issues left from having a family friend "help out". They arrived at eight am and got right to work going over the entire house. Dan talked to the younger gentlemen (whom was very nice and professional) like he was trash and yelled for him and at him all through the house. This was the first incident that put me off to the company. He accused me of messing up the electrical and kept telling me not to touch things I don't understand - when I have never done more than taken a plate off to paint and had explained that we had a friend trying to help us out which we fired to call dan to fix whatever bad job he had done. The entire time I was talked to like I was also a piece of S*@!.Then dan said that the only way that we could even think of selling our home would be to pull every single outlet and light switch that was previously upgraded and make every one copper ground. He estimated 3,200 to change out switches - that seemed a bit overkill to me to we just asked if they could fix the few issues that were actually a problem. We went to the township inspectors office to inquire about if that needed to be done and they looked puzzled. He told me that this was not something that they would ever even check for! The inspector asked who the electrician was and when I mentioned the name in the office two people said that dan tried to con them into the same thing but tried to charge them 6,000 to do it. So the work that was done - one light fixture was put up, three switches replaced = 304.49 to which I NEVER RECEIVED MY CHANGE. Our newly fixed and painted walls now have holes and dings around every switch, black fingerprints everywhere, two switches are half cocked in the wall - which looks like crap, toilet seat left up and pee on the floor, and they blasted music before 9am in our driveway that I could hear in the back yard -which had our neighbors at our door complaining about by the time they left. Because I didn't agree to the idea that the entire house needed to be re done- the entire time dan was here he was yelling and telling us the house was going to burn down and we were doing everything wrong by not listening to him. He claimed that all the ceiling fans (that were installed and inspected previously) were all wired wrong. I don't even know how you could tell how a fan is wired by walking in a room and looking at it. He was running around pointing and yelling - this is a fire- there's a fire! He claimed that a light was wired wrong inside the light and would cause a fire but somehow withought checking the light he said they fixed it with the switches....but was still angry about it and yelled about it for quite a while. Since he left we had another electrician come in and check out the house. He said he would have done the same job for half and agreed with township that dan was trying to rip us off. He inspected the house and did all the necessary repairs in a few minutes for $100. The entire time dan was here he did not stop yelling and over talking everything we said. He was by far the most condescending person I have ever met to date. He literally made my wife cry. I absolutely do not understand how anyone has been a repeat customer and hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else again - especially after meeting several people that have had the same experience! PS they replied to this comment on another review and neglected to respond to any of my concerns about the "repairs" being necessary to pass inspection in our township. They only talked about how it was a fair price and not about how they had damaged our new drywall/paint, blasted music, were unprofessional, peed on our floor, treated us like dumb women. We literally had less damage from our carpet install through five rooms then we did just the two light switches that they worked on. The company claimed that dan doesn't yell but that he's "passionate". There's something more than coffee happening for someone to be that passionate and frantic. read more
