I honestly can't count…read morehow many times they've come out over the years, fixed an issue quickly, and never charged us because it was something simple. That kind of honesty and customer service is hard to find these days. We recently had new doors installed, and I always compare pricing before making a decision. Not only were they nearly 20% less than the leading competitors in town, but they also went above and beyond throughout the entire process. They've made extra trips back and forth for additional materials and never added surprise charges. This company is a true example of how a small local business can grow into a respected midsize company while still keeping the same quality, integrity, and personal service that made them successful in the first place. They genuinely care about their customers, and it shows in everything they do. Hands down the best in Brevard--highly recommend them.

I have been a loyal customer of Howard Garage Doors since 1982, which is why I am deeply…read moredisappointed by the lack of transparency and customer service I recently experienced. A technician came out for an initial issue that turned out to be too costly for me and unnecessary at this time. He mentioned maybe replacing my garage door rollers as they are old and it would help the door run smoother. I asked about the cost and he said exactly $100 and explicitly confirmed that price covered "everything," when I asked him if it was everything! I agreed to the work. I was shocked when he handed me a bill for $239 because he didn't tell me the labor was not included. Nor did I realize the high cost of the service call, which was my fault. I said to him what?! You told me $100 when I asked if it covered everything and he went on telling me how much it cost at other places! And other places he worked and what they used to make him do to trick people! I told him he should have made it clear that it did not include those additional charges. If the true cost had been made clear, I would have declined the rollers, paid the service fee for the visit, and been on my way. When I called to discuss the lack of clarity on the bill, the owner showed no intention of apologizing or offering a small gesture of goodwill to make things right for a multi-decade customer. When I expressed my disappointment and mentioned that I, along with my family and friends, would have to take our business elsewhere in the future, his response was to tell me to go ahead and see how much other places charge. After 44 years of loyalty, I expected a simple acknowledgment of the misunderstanding and perhaps a small apology stating this would not happen again. This was not just about the money; it was about honesty and customer service. Instead, a lifetime of business was completely dismissed.
