The best service that I have received in a long, long time. My goodness, I am so glad that I called Quality Garage Door and had them come out. The spring on my garage door broke, and since Quality Garage Door is right in my town, I called them. Lex answered my call and when I spoke to him, I was impressed by his advice. Although they were busy, he sent me one of his service guys. Steven, was the most courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, young man that you could find. Very refreshing to talk with him. He explained everything step by step,about the problem, the cost, and what it would take to repair my door. My husband and I were very impressed. Yes, at first, I thought that it was a bit pricey for us at this point in time because, it was an unexpected expense, however, Steven explained about the type of products that they use and that they had a warranty . I must say that I WILL DEFINITELY USE QUALITY GARAGE DOOR SERVICES AGAIN if the need occurs. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs garage door work. Brought them out because the garage door didn't seem to be opening/closing right. The technician recommended lubrication and new rollers ($600 for two doors). What do I know about garage doors - so I said sure. 3 months later the door stops opening because the issue was the springs. They quoted me another $500 to adjust (not even replace) the springs for two doors. They wouldn't cover it of course. Prices seem pretty high. More to the point, the techs aren't well trained to diagnose the issue and apparently that is the customer's problem. read more

Wife called because garage door was getting stuck sometimes. Technician replaced spring and bolts and charged us $700+. I wanted a new motor but technician said that would cost over $1000. Ironically, after replacing spring an bolts, garage door STILL did not open. Technician then wanted to replace logic board in motor for another $169. Tired of having bullshit explanations. Went to Home Depot and bought new motor for $199. Installed it myself in 3 hours and garage works wonderfully now. Very quiet and WiFi enabled. Technician is not prompt (consistently late) and does not call or provide updates on their ripoff practices. In summary, I paid $700+ for him to *not* fix my garage door because he was too busy being incompetent and finding ways to overcharge rather than fix. This company should change their name to Quality Ripoff Services. Another friend from work used them to install a hurricane grade garage door in order to find out it actually wasn't impact resistant when it failed wind mitigation inspection. You can't make this stuff up. At least we had some good laughs at how bad this company is. Buyer beware. Don't pay until they fix it, because it by will charge you and not actually fix it, as they did in my case. read more

I called Quality to come look at and repair my garage door opener. The technician arrived and right away was pointing out the opener was from Lowe's or Home Depot and really was not meant for my door even though it has been doing fine for over 10 years. He then showed me where the drive belt had separated. I explained that I was not in the market for a new open but just wanted him to replace the defective belt. He said 'We don't do that.' besides he said we can't get spare parts due to the pandemic. I then asked what he could do? He replied put in a whole new unit for $625 plus the $75 I paid him for his visit. I was a little surprised and miffed but figured there have been supply chain issues with C-19 so I agreed to an new install. Luckily, they scheduled me for a few days out. I called Chamberlain, the mfgr or the opener, and was told no problem on a belt. Long story short I have a new belt arriving in a few day for a total, with rush shipping, of $85. When I called the office and canceled the instal I told the agent why. She gave me same line about not being able to get spare parts due to C-19. Sounds like the company line to up sell customers. They can't get spare parts but they can get complete systems no problem. If I can get a belt I'm sure a large company can get a belt. Pretty basic part. I was lied to and will not use this company again. read more

OMG what an amazing experience with this awesome company! Nico was the Technician that came to service my garage door. He was nothing short of exceptional!! Honest, skilled, patient, professional, kind, well mannered...I mean I could go on and on. He fixed my initial problem which was the replacement of the bottom rubber seal and then went a step further to do a complete and complimentary 22 point inspection. He fixed a few problem areas that needed immediate attention and then showed me exactly what I should keep an eye on going forward. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced not to mention extremely expensive. I understand companies need to make a living but $40 for 20 min of work and a 400% markup on a $40 product is disgusting and wrong. I was totally taken by this company and I hope those reading this will look elsewhere before using them. Not to mention when I called to discuss my concerns the front desk woman who referred to herself as a "supervisor" hung up on me.
