We moved here in 2006, and thank the Lord we saw their sticker on the door. I honestly can't count how many times they've come out over the years, fixed an issue quickly, and never charged us because it was something simple. That kind of honesty and customer service is hard to find these days. We recently had new doors installed, and I always compare pricing before making a decision. Not only were they nearly 20% less than the leading competitors in town, but they also went above and beyond throughout the entire process. They've made extra trips back and forth for additional materials and never added surprise charges. This company is a true example of how a small local business can grow into a respected midsize company while still keeping the same quality, integrity, and personal service that made them successful in the first place. They genuinely care about their customers, and it shows in everything they do. Hands down the best in Brevard--highly recommend them. read more

Dennis was great. Preserved the center stile, reinforced plate for toe attachment arm, and went out of his way to address a precasting issue with the pulley and track placement on one side. Really appreciate the attention to detail. Excellent customer service read more

Spring on my garage door snapped while I was in the garage and at first, I thought something got caught in the door, etc. But, during my inspection of the loud "bang", I saw one spring was snapped in half. After looking at ads in Safari Magazine and online, I decided to go with my gut, and select a proven local company with great reviews on Next Door and one that I had their business card on file. Howard Garage Doors. Of course, this happened late Friday, lol. After calling the office and getting a very personal voicemail, that the staff was at an event, and would call me back that evening after 7pm. Well Priscilla, the owner did! I didn't answer the call, since my caller ID was a person, I didn't recognize, but she left me a very detailed message and stated she would also text me. She did, I called back, and set up Monday afternoon to avoid a weekend surcharge fee, since my stuck car was not essential. Dennis, the technician called ahead to alert his arrival on Monday. He makes quick work of the repair, lubricating my rollers as well and giving me some tips. I was happy with the overall experience and the 5-year warranty on the replacement springs. $385 was in line with my research, so I was satisfied. Dennis gave me a 10% off service and parts to share with Friends, etc read more

David Howard came out and gave us our quote to repair garage door which was stuck and catywampus. Very polite and knowledgeable. Dennis was our repairman, he arrived on time and immediately went to work. He had the door open in minutes. I had asked my wife to get my son to help me get the lawnmower out of the garage. Grass had gotten pretty tall in the few weeks I could not get in the garage. Dennis immediately grabbed ahold of the mower and pushed it out so I could cut the grass. Dennis had the door repaired within a hour. When Dennis brought me the receipt he kept asking me if there was anything I needed him to help with, I was so impressed with this company and Dennis. Thank you Howard garage doors. read more

Dennis did an amazing job - quick installation of a complete new opener unit. He also tuned up our existing door. Unit is so quiet, we can hardly hear it now. Price was fair and no surprises. I highly recommend Howard Garage Doors. read more

My spring broke on my garage door, and Howard was able to get a tech out the very next day to fix it. Dennis was my tech, he was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk with. He went above and beyond to help me program my keypad for both doors and even checked the other door for potential issues. 10/10 will use again. read more

One phone call and we had an appointment within hours even tho it would mean them working late! The company is amazing as is their tech!!

After spending months trying to keep our garage door opener working we finally broke down and bought a new one. We called HGD to install it and they came the next day. Dennis was friendly, professional, and not only installed the opener but added new bracing and a few other things to improve the setup. He showed us how to lubricate the door and helped my husband program his car. Very, very pleased with the experience. read more

Did a great job replacing door opener. Very good followup when I had a issue with the safety sensors.

Dennis of Howard Garage Doors came to my home on time as promised and determined the problem with my garage door. He repaired the sensors, adjusted and lubricated the track and explained what he was doing the whole time. When it's time for a new opener and springs, I will call Howard Garage Door and ask for Dennis. read more

We initially called 3 different companies for quotes and to meet their representative. By far, Howard Garage Doors gave us outstanding customer service and the best quote! Mr. Howard is an A+! The associates in the office always answered any questions we had and the installer, Brad, was very professional and worked efficiently (and very quietly)! With all the supply delays, Howard Garage Doors kept us current on the status of our doors! We will definitely call Howard Garage Doors for our next project. read more

I knew right away what the "clunk" I heard on Christmas Eve morning was. Sure enough the big spring over the door broke. I called Howard, having used them 12 years ago for the same thing. They asked if I could wait a few days as they were swamped, which I could because fortunately the cars were out when it happened. On appointment day their tech called 20 minutes out, and came right on time. He had the springs replaced, lubed up the rest of the door, even adjusted my opener, in about an hour. I couldn't be happier with this longstanding Brevard company. Highly recommend. read more

When something breaks like your garage door opener, it is just annoying. So such a nice surprise when from the first call to the office, to Dennis coming and completing the job, I wasn't annoyed at all! They made it a pleasant experience with the tech, Dennis going above and beyond to get it right for us. He worked so efficiently and took extra time to examine the whole system. He fixed what wasn't done well years ago and explained a few things to watch in the future. But never once tried to sell us more than what we needed that day. And he cleaned my garage floor after!! Woo hoo! It was a pleasure to meet him and know that nice people in customer service/repair are here in Brevard! Highly recommend. read more

Dennis was right on time and extremely courteous. He got right to work on fixing my garage door and did a wonderful job. He explained everything he did and went the extra mile. Would highly recommend Howard to anyone. Thanks again Dennis! read more

For my Garage Door needs, I have used Howard Garage Doors for over 45 years. My builder used them to supply the Garage Doors on our First two Homes. Occasionally, your door needs Service. I am pretty hard on my Garage Doors as I seldom use the Front Door. The Service guys are prompt and do a great job. About a year ago a spring broke on my door, The Door was the type that used a spring wound around a Pipe. This is not a Job for Amateurs. Serious injuries could result. since this door is eight years old, I opted for a routine service. they used a Professional Grade Lube that made the door much more quiet and smooth.they are the folks I call when my Door needs Help. read more

Howard Garage Doors came recommended by Realtor Mr. Tony Ayala, a retired, decorated, dedicated, Army NCO/Soldier. A personal friend and Army team member I have known for nearly 20 years. If anyone could offer a unbiased opinion on which reputable garage door repair company in the community to use, it was Tony. I called Howard Garage Doors on February 11, 2019. Our two car garage door spring (one of the two) had broken. This was the second spring repair/replace on this aluminum door in 20 years. Lisa, at HGD, answered the phone around 7 a.m. that Monday morning. She was gracious and helpful! She assigned Dennis, their Lead Tech to the repair/replace for that afternoon. Dennis was a honest, qualified professional as he performed his duties. He completed the repair/replace on the spring's and two frayed cables. Checked the door hardware and final operation. He made me aware of something's to watch for as the door & roller hardware age's. HGD charged a "fair/discounted" price, which as a 44 year Brevard County resident and unemployed former (not retired-13 yrs service) Army officer, I greatly and sincerely appreciated! My complements to Howard Garage Door Company and your wonderful employee's! A "shout-out" to Lisa & Dennis! Folk's, take my word for it, Howard Garage Doors did a wonderful job from start to finish! I normally don't take the time to post a review, but felt this post DESERVED my time & effort, even at 4 a.m. in the morning! Sincerely, James E. Choss. read more

Very small company with just one technician. If you need your garage door serviced, you will be waiting a long time and if you are lucky enough for fast turnaround, the time window the lady gives is excessively long too. You could be waiting hours for the one technician they have to show up. After noticing multiple 5 star fake reviews on Google (among them, the owner, Priscilla, the technician Den M. and his wife Stacy) I decided to use a different, more honest service person. read more

Some communication errors but the owner worked hard to make it right. I appreciate the effort.

I called Howard Garage Door Repair when my door wouldn't open fully. The office person assessed my situation and a repair person came later the same day. Dennis was extremely professional and completely knowledgeable. He even offered to replace my garage light bulbs. My assessment: Honest and reliable company with reasonable rates. read more
