I learned AFTER my threading experience that the price for eyebrow threading is actually $8 and threading for upper lip is $4. Anyway, since I usually get my threading done in Toronto, it's very easy to make a comparison in the service since I was charged the same price as the Toronto location. I arrived without an appointment and I was promptly accepted. There were no customers at the moment I arrived but shortly when I sat in the chair 1 customer came in and another customer popped in when I was ready to pay. I asked for a clean up and the esthetician began threading. In the Toronto location talc powder is always put on the skin before threading. However, at Dimple's I was not offered and she threaded on my bare skin. The experience was pleasant. It did not hurt and it was fast! Again, at the Toronto location a gel to reduce the redness is applied and a temple/eyebrow massage wraps up the session. However at Dimple's nothing was offered, the session finished abruptly. I would like to mention that Dimple's chairs are not eyebrow threading chairs (chairs that extend back with a head rest to make it easy for the esthetician to access your eyebrows). Instead, I had to awkwardly scoot at the edge of my seat and rest my head on the back of the chair and hold on to not fall out... you guessed it, the Toronto location has appropriate comfortable eyebrow threading chairs. My eyebrows came out great. What I like at Dimple's is that there is ample free parking. However, based on my Toronto experience that include bells and whistles for $12, I think Dimple's service is overpriced for just offering the bare minimum.

I called it seaweed. I had a terrible orange band of colour (from a box dye kit I used a while back.. pro tip. Dont do that lol) the roots were blue and the ends were green. In other words. A mess. Not even a hot one. Anyway. I digress. I had problem hair. So number one was to freshen my cut. Make it even, layer it, give it a side shave and keep the length. My stylist Natalia Titoud did an AMAZING job. Like I said however, I had initially come in for only a cut. While she was washing my hair I asked about colour - to make a long story shorter she said she could most certainly do that too. She also had time which was fantastic. Not only was she able to fix my awful hair - she gave me confidence. She also worked under my time constraint (as I had work that day) in a very professional manner. I will most definitely be going back. I have never been more satisfied with a salon experience in my life. My stylist was amazing. And even more so, the other staff were fantastic too! Helping each other out without hesitation when required. Friendly and relaxing environment. Yep. It's safe to say I would reccomend this salon to anyone. I waited a while to review this place as I wanted to see how my colour got along. It's been about two weeks and I have never had so many compliments on my hair. Ever. I could tell instantaneously she was a hair expert in the way she handled my thin fine hair. She was so gentle, and gave me beautiful icy highlights. She also cut my hair into exactly what I asked for. I first found out about this place through xiaohongshu (Chinese app that's like Instagram and Pinterest rolled into one), and from there I added the customer service account on wechat. I was told about a $105 service for first time customers when I inquired about the 60 minute scalp treatment and mini facial. I then found their website through which I made the appointment. On the day before my appointment, I got a phone call to change appointment time due to double booking I got another phone call on the day of appointment asking me to come in earlier. The service itself was great, super relaxing, my hair and skin felt so good. During the scalp treatment, my hair was thoroughly washed and my scalp massaged by gentle hands while my body was massaged by the chair. During the mini facial, my face was gently cleansed, then I had a mask, followed by steam. Afterwards my hair was blow dried, and it felt so soft and silky. My experience ended unpleasantly, as I ended up having to pay more than anticipated - I thought I was getting the $105 first time customer service, but instead I was charged $135. Now I'm not sure what the $105 service for first time customers is and if I qualify for it. Lesson learned to be very careful and clarify prices beforehand.

She claimed she had been in the business for 5 years and had only done 2-3 clients at the salon, as stated by the owner.Furthermore, another PMU artist I listed for emergency saline removal is a member of a PMY artist group and had mentioned right away that this is a fake account with people's pictures and fake followers.
