泰然 - Was hard to find since we can't read Chinese. See this staircase under a lighted sign that says "Thai Massage" and you're in the right place

I have been to Thailand and had Thai massages that I really enjoyed, but the experience here did not quite match the experience I had in Thailand. The place was small...but yes it was legit (no funny business). We waited by the hallway for 5 mins and then walked 2 steps towards the curtain to enter the massage area. It was pretty bare, just a bed on the floor, separated by another curtain from your neighbor's bed. You change into the outfit first and the massage started...where the lady stepped right on top of me for almost 50 mins. I was in pain, actually a lot of pain since she stepped right on my calf. I don't think she noticed how I was cringing my body in response to the pain because she was too busy stepping and chatting nonstop with the other masseuse that was working next to me. I am giving this place some stars because they do work hard and it wasn't expensive, but I am not sure if I walked out with less pain. When we left the store, we noticed a lot more Thai messages nearby with even cheaper rate, so you should shop around if you aren't in any rush.

90 minutes for $40. 'Nuff Said!…read more You'd think it was shady if you don't know Asian cities. Up a staircase off the main street and into what seems to be a shady corridor. You knock on a locked door like that of a prohibition gin joint. and then it opens and a warm group of people, receptionist and masseuses alike greet you with water that tastes like rice and slippers. Its a tiny home with four curtained stations. I got a dry thai massage. I put on the outfit of a Thai fisherman i think (quite comfy actually!) and laid down on the table. For the next 90 minutes i was punched, kicked, wrestled, twisted, stepped on, pushed, pulled, and any number of other acts by an older, larger woman... AND IT WAS AWESOME!! I actually fell asleep a number of times and snored myself awake. Put through some pain, and fell asleep anyway. The mark of a great massage! Again, if you want a Los Angeles resort spa with lavender and lace forget it. This place is raw and gives you a real-world urban-Asian experience. In my book that's what a vacation should be about: getting out and doing things as locals do. How else can you make memories? Also, my girl got a normal oil massage for 90 minutes. The place isn't set up for a couples massage, but they did put us next to each other and open the curtain between us. Close enough. She also loved her massage.

Thanks Annie M. for recommending this excellent place. This will be my new favorite for foot…read moresteaming from now on, as I like how it's newer and cleaner than the one I've frequented. Don't hold any fantasy for this spa, this is just a basic place for foot steaming. However, the interior is nice, the faux slate stone walls and floor giving it a clean, modern look. Service is good, and the clothes that I change into for the steaming looks new and clean. The staff told me that they send their laundry out to clean. As a first timer I get a discounted price of $98 (normal is $138), and I added a 20 min shoulder massage for a small fee. Massage was good if not excellent. They did not push me to buy packages and add ons, which I appreciate. This place is right by the Prince Edward MTR. Exit B2 and it's in the building across the street to your left.

I definitely would try it when I get a chance. My best friend took me to Fantasy Spa for foot steaming and massage. I like this place, it is nothing fancy but the price is very reasonable. It's clean and roomy. The foot massage technicians are so experience and great. They explained to us the benefits of foot steaming with different herbals medicine. (Promote blood circulation, Detoxification, Eliminate blood stasis, Anit-aging and etc) I wish Vancouver could have foot steaming massage shop soon.

Hong Kong's first float centre! I was keen to try this place out as I was attracted to the idea of…read morejust completely unwinding and being shut out from all external stimuli. So after having worked an all-nighter, I came to this place on a weekday morning. As it was the first time I had ever 'floated', I was given a quick run down of the place: - You take your shoes off as you enter the living room - They have 4 pod rooms - Each pod room has its own shower - Take a good shower before you get into the pod (put on your earplugs first) - Turn down/off the room lights according to your preference - Get into the pod - There's a floating noodle which you can use if you need additional neck or back support - Lighting for the pods can be controlled from within the pod - Music plays for the first 5 minutes - Music plays in the last 5 minutes to let you know the session is ending - Take a good shower to wash off the salt water - Relax in the living room It's not surprising that everyone has a different first experience and it probably depends a lot on how you are feeling physically & mentally that day. As I was utterly exhausted and looking forward to being shut out from the world, I immediately took to the pod like a tree in a forest. I played around with arm & leg positioning initially but fell asleep for probably 20 minutes towards the end. When I got out I felt amazingly refreshed. The second time I came here was on a weekend. I had just done two workouts and felt a little hyper. I got bored about 45 minutes into it and got out of the pod early. So I'm probably going to stick to coming here when I need a good nap or break from the world or if I am jet-lagged. It's clear they've invested to make the place cozy. In case you're wondering, the rooms are really clean and after each session the water is run through a filter. So I reckon it's definitely cleaner than swimming in a pool or hot-tubbing at a spa. All in all definitely a great experience and worth trying when you are super tired.

We were both always curious about floating and what a great place to begin this journey. The space was very calming and relaxing, and much larger than many wellness facilities in Hong Kong. Each room had a shower and a pod for privacy.. I fell asleep a few times while floating and both my BF and I felt relaxed, re-energized and hungry after the experience. I am claustrophobic in small spaces so I really liked having the option to have the pod open or closed. I was relaxed and comfortable enough to eventually close the pod and turn off the lights for the full experience:) Wellness comes in so many forms but I must say this was a such a positive experience..i was able to step away from the bustling Hong Kong environment to have a mini self focused escape to recharge. Thank you for enabling a space like this. I will be coming back and I highly encourage others to try floating. There are so many benefits and I am excited to see how I will feel floating again
