As a first timer I get a discounted price of $98 (normal is $138), and I added a 20 min shoulder massage for a small fee. Massage was good if not excellent. A finance type hit the same floor I was going to and I asked him if it was legit. Affirmative answer, said he likes it because he could fall asleep. Good enough for me. Had to converse in both Canto and English to confirm they would work the calves (also affirmative) as part of the foot massage too. What a blessing. After seeing the menu I added on some shoulder work too. Foot massage was good. Started with a nice warm Water soak. No tickling, some therapeutic pain. Pressure point and blood flow work. Only minor complaint was they were a bit harsher than I liked on the outside of the calf near the knee, rolling a tendon or ligament a little more than necessary but it was brief. The foot massage room has seats for maybe 8-10 clients, 3 of which were occupied. Noise level is fine. You could sleep if you wanted too. It's dark enough. No complaints in terms of facilities. Clean and solid. The shoulder and neck massage was interesting. Way more aggression than I was used to but it ended up therapeutic. Beat up a knot that my regular masseuse avoids. Managed a convo with the therapist too about romance and immigration. Random but entertaining. Had time on my last day in Central and I regret not visiting again.

After spending a few weeks in Asia however, in retrospect it wasn't that great at all. The massage that came afterward was really pretty horrible. I spent most of the time holding my breath and tensing up, trying not to have a life altering spinal injury. My wife had the same treatment and the same result. If you are a tourist, I highly recommend you search for a "Happy Foot" location. The reflexology and massage we had there were absolutely top notch.

I don't think she noticed how I was cringing my body in response to the pain because she was too busy stepping and chatting nonstop with the other masseuse that was working next to me. I am giving this place some stars because they do work hard and it wasn't expensive, but I am not sure if I walked out with less pain. When we left the store, we noticed a lot more Thai messages nearby with even cheaper rate, so you should shop around if you aren't in any rush.

You knock on a locked door like that of a prohibition gin joint. and then it opens and a warm group of people, receptionist and masseuses alike greet you with water that tastes like rice and slippers. Its a tiny home with four curtained stations. I got a dry thai massage. I put on the outfit of a Thai fisherman i think (quite comfy actually!) and laid down on the table. For the next 90 minutes i was punched, kicked, wrestled, twisted, stepped on, pushed, pulled, and any number of other acts by an older, larger woman... AND IT WAS AWESOME!! I actually fell asleep a number of times and snored myself awake. Put through some pain, and fell asleep anyway. The mark of a great massage! Again, if you want a Los Angeles resort spa with lavender and lace forget it. This place is raw and gives you a real-world urban-Asian experience. In my book that's what a vacation should be about: getting out and doing things as locals do. How else can you make memories? Also, my girl got a normal oil massage for 90 minutes. The place isn't set up for a couples massage, but they did put us next to each other and open the curtain between us. Close enough. She also loved her massage.

I got there just in time and was welcomed with some water before the therapist led me to one of their (three) rooms. I wanted to get my eyebrows done but my expectations weren't high. However, I asked her for advice on how to reshape them. She took her time and made a couple of observations, which made me feel more comfortable, then just got onto it and in a matter of 10 minutes I was out. My thoughts: very professional, quick and well performed. This is what you get anywhere else in Hong Kong, but for 120 HKD and not much advice. As I came out of the room I saw two people getting a manicure and it looked so good, I made the next appointment! Just be warned of two things: it's cash only and there is no lift to the 3rd floor.

The treatment rooms are divided by thin plastic walls so you can hear every word being said within the tiny space and other spa goers can hear every wax strip being torn off which can be a little off putting. However, the service is professional and the price is SO CHEAP that you can ignore the basic fit out. It's literally only $230 for a Brazilian wax - half the price of places like Nude and Nu and the results are as good. Hot Stone Massages are only $300 whilst a spa manicure is $130. I bring my own colours for manicures but the range of options is reasonable. The cash only policy is a little annoying but understandable for such a small operation. All in all, Lovely Spa is not the best choice for a luxury, indulgent experience, but for basic grooming at a price you can't beat, this is the place.

After waiting just a few minutes we were whisked to a room with 2 beds for my step-daughter and me. Masseuses were phenomenal, complete quiet relaxation. Post massage, warm tea and a gelatin like dessert was served - very tasty. Husband also decided to get a 50 minute foot massage while we got massages and scrub and all 3 of use received treatments for ~$110 USD.
