New to the area.. decided to try for a touch up and blow dry.. It's an ok place... But, they charge for every service they offer.. They are not a top salon. They do not do extensions, wefts or anything up to date.. their hair products are not top notch.. I have since discovered so many salons in the area that blow this place away.. I love Spa Nine, I have the membership and think it's sooooo worth it! I regularly use it to get hair cuts, use the sauna, Celluma LED, and to get massages. I highly recommend massages with Jessica, she gave the perfect massage with the perfect pressure. Destiny has been great for hair cuts, very sweet, does a great job! Their sauna is amazing, very clean, very well thought out with the many towels, and the shower for afterwards. First, I am not one to write a bad review, I never did before. The service was good and so was the hairdresser. However, I did arrive 1/2 late, my fault, I thought the appt was at 12, it was at 11, It was 11:30, the hairdresser told me he would take me. when I arrived he made no mention of not completing the services I asked. The only thing I had left was a blow dry, He did not say he wouldn't do it. Next appt arrived and I felt bad, so I told the hairdresser he could skip the blow dry. I had no Idea I would be charged for it. Then when he was shampooing my hair, he asked me if I had 10 min for the toner, I said yes. I had no idea I was being charged for a toner, honestly, I've never been charged separate for my hair to be toned. What I'm saying is every thing should have been explained to me when I arrived, good customer care is all I expect. If the toner is needed to get a decent color then why charge separate. anyway, I was very good to the hairdresser, I gave him a nice tip because I know they make most money on tips. The point is, when I was discussing this issue with the manager, she wouldn't even budge on anything. I explained everything to her, and she wouldn't even budge. After spending 20 minutes on the phone with her, and she was not nice at all. She refunded me $22 angrily because I was persistent. I am a nurse and I always explain everything I'm going to do to my patients before I do it. In the salon business or any other kind of business it's all about customer service & there was none of that here. By the way, she asked me why I tipped him well, which was inappropriate, he was a good hairdresser & it was not about him. read more

I went to Spa Nine today for a wash, cut and blow dry and a complementary LED anti-aging treatment. They LED treatment was relaxing and did give my skin a freshed look. My hair stylist was Yvonne. I give her a ton of credit since it's been a year since my last haircut and I'm growing out an overly short pixie. I left feeling happy and pretty. My boyfriend and I recently visited Spa Nine for a much needed couples massage. We were greeted nicely upon arrival and waited in a small seating area for a few minutes while the room was made ready (we arrived a few minutes early.) Our massage therapists were Bobbi and Jennifer. They asked about trouble areas, how much pressure we like, etc. and we got started. The room was nice and dim and the relaxing music was nice and drowned out most of the noise from the busy salon. Bobbi and Jennifer used the right amount of pressure for both of our preferences and were friendly and attentive. We will definitely visit again! read more

I first saw this salon going to the gym next door. I booked a deep tissue massage for a Saturday. The salon is conveniently located and a beautiful facility. While waiting for my appointment, they had me wait in the relaxation room which was nice, and the owner offered mimosas. They were right on time getting me started. The room was clean, peaceful and the music was nice. Massage therapist jessica was wonderful. I booked my next appointment before leaving. I was in FL last month and decided to get my hair highlighted and straightened. I called Spa Nine and went to see stylist Jill Henry. Jill did an excellent job on both my highlights and straightening. She also trimmed my hair a bit for me as well. She is such a nice person and calmed me down a few times.. I was anxious because my boyfriend was waiting outside for me and it took a while.. not Jill's fault though. Everyone at the Spa was very kind, the Spa was very clean and it was a wonderful experience. I am a hair nut and if you don't do my hair right I never go back to you -- but I love my hair! I called two days ahead to set my appt. I showed up for my appointment i was told she made my appt for the next day. I was disappointed and when the receptionist saw my disappointed and over heard me say I was putting it on a review. She proceeded to tell me how she would make sure that I would never be able to come again. Well first thing; I never had the chance to come in the first time. Second how dare you tell me to come another day when I made this appt for me and my family member who is a single mom and I wanted to give her a day to enjoy. She deserves it. But This receptistionist was rude and disrespectful. I do appreciate that another employee did come to see if she could be of any assistance She did try to tell me that the receptionist was the owner. Today I went to the gym and afterwards had a 30 minute infrared sauna session at Spa 9. I can't tell you how great I feel after my session. Relaxed, healthy and I actually feel 5 pounds lighter! I have been spending the last few days trying to find the best way to describe this spa and truthfully - it is just AMAZING. I live extremely nearby and go to the gym next door - but I had never actually walked in to inquire anything. I received a gift card for Christmas here and decided to use it last Saturday as I was extremely stressed and in need of relaxation. Upon my first entering I was genuinely shocked. The mere environment of this spa is not only welcoming but designed to a top level of elegance. I was greeted immediately and brought to a beautiful sitting room to wait for my services - which I had selected the 60 Minute Massage and a 60 Minute Facial. I was offered white wine and chilled water with multiple antioxidant drop options too, (which I honestly thought was just such a lovely touch) while I waited. As lovely as this was, it was short lived because my technician showed to retrieve me not even 2-3 minutes later (WOW). I can not express how fantastic it was to walk into an appointment for a specific time and it literally be THAT time. I apologize in advance as I know her name but I do not know how to spell it properly (as I did not ask - my mistake) - but 'Corey' kindly guided me to the message room which had probably the best ambiance I have ever experienced. Simple, clean, warm, and touches of spirit with salt lamps and light decor. It really was just a comfortable environment overall. Corey provided me with a 60 minute massage (the BEST I have ever had as I was close to giving up on finding a good massage therapist and she completely 360'd my opinions). She was incredibly thoughtful and kind and listened to all of my concerns - and the best part is she is so intuitive she knows when her client wants to either rest or speak (vs some will continue to chat you up obnoxiously the entire time). She is extremely skilled and I had immediate relief from the moment she started - until it finished. She also worked my facial as well and listened to my concerns and questions with ease and made the experience just even more enjoyable. I could honestly go on and on about my experience - but I would like to conclude that for the extremely REASONABLE cost of Spa Nine, there is no reason you shouldn't be here at least on a monthly bases ( which is why I took the opportunity to sign up for their monthly program ON THE SPOT LOL. I was given a price (after seeing my hair), came in and price changed significantly. She got an attitude about it and then said she didn't feel comfortable doing my hair. We were originally there for my daughter and she gave us one price for her hair and my hair and then when we arrived, she proceeded to say she must've been tired and tried to increase the price for both of us by over 100.00 each. The following week they called me to confirm my appointment and I had to explain to them that due to their unprofessionalism when we came in for my daughter, I do not want to use their services at all in the future and to please remove my number from their system. Had a wonderful experience here with Melissa as my hairdresser! One of the biggest issues I run into is not being heard when I ask to keep my length and to go easy on the highlights. I am a minmalist when it comes to styling and Melssia followed through on all of it. She took just enough length to get rid of the dead ends and put in just enough highlights to lift my hair but still leave plenty of natural color. Very happy! read more

First of all, Sharon is fantastic with my hair! I have slightly challenging hair and like to stick with a stylist that will do it right. This is the 3rd salon I have followed her to over the years and by far the best as far as service, cleanliness and high-quality product offerings. I didn't know it was possible, but their chairs at the wash stations are actually comfortable and don't cause any neck discomfort! I had a 20 minute treatment and almost fell asleep in the chair. ;) I live in Ft. Pierce, so this is certainly not the closest place I could go, but do not mild traveling a bit south for excellent cut, color and pampering. read more
