If you love getting ripped off, overcharged, and gaslit when you call it out, then congratulations--you've found the perfect nail salon! * Kim, the "new owner," personally oversees pricing--but instead of a price list, they charge you based on how rich they think you are. She literally asked me how much I pay for rent and if I live in a nice building before deciding how much to overcharge me. * Magically, my total was HIGHER AFTER I signed, and they "adjusted" my tip from $30 to $45 without my permission. * They charged me for services I NEVER received. * I paid for gel, but they used regular polish and lied about it. * Gel doesn't chip, right? Well, mine started peeling THE NEXT DAY. Proof they cut corners and think customers are too dumb to notice. * One of my nails broke within two days. I guess their definition of "quality" is different from everyone else's. * Instead of refunding the overcharge, they gaslit me and told me to "come back" so they could "fix" my nails--when my problem was with their shady billing, NOT their work. * No apology. I was down in Bradenton for a visit with my mom and desperately wanted a pedicure. Moms husband took me to Spa Next Door which is his place to go and hooked me up with Heidi who does his feet. OMG what a treat and what an awesome job!! I had the Deluxe pedi off the menu and was NOT expensive and was full service and expertly done and worth every penny. Very rude and unprofessional. The lady working the phone system is not knowledgeable and she does not speak English very well. I was hung up on and when I called back, she told me that I had to wait for a massage and when I corrected her she started acting like the phone was breaking up and losing signal.
