I'd noticed a lot of new nail techs where cycling in and out of the shop, so I never knew what I was going to get quality wise, or who I'd get, as some of those people were brand new and had little experience. I noticed it'd get oppressively quiet when the owner came in to work. Sometimes he'd start a customer, get mad about something and hand her over to another nail person. I found out later that the owner had an awful temper and the staff found it was best to remain silent when he was around. Anyway, when the day came I had to file my own nails (because the nail tech had filed them into points that looked like house roofs), I paid my bill, never went back and found another salon that I'm happy with. I'd never recommend this salon to anyone.

Obviously, this was a difficult experience. The young man did a superb job at covering my scar. I needed most of my hair taken off to match what the surgeon removed, and he was very good at checking in with me that I was happy with each and every step of the cut. He was able to cover most of my scar even though it's while large, and he took his time. I would definitely suggest for anyone looking for someone who is passionate and hardworking. I typically wear a wig full time, and I asked for a cut to go under it perfectly. Now, my wig that I wear full time looks better than ever and I'm comfortable at home. This hairstyle was my faithful sidekick for an incredible night of fundraising and dancing and my hair looked SENSATIONAL throughout. This was a major event that I spent months working toward and really wanted to look perfect and special for the night. So of course the first appointment I made was getting my hair done with the magical Antonio! Never once was I worried that it would fall apart or come undone (always a concern when doing something different)-- Antonio has normally done blowouts for me when I have a special event but I needed an updo for this particular dress. I wasn't sure what to expect since this was my first time asking him for an updo but holy hell did Antonio deliver. The amount of compliments I received throughout the evening was INSANE and I just felt gorgeous the whole night through. It was perfect! I didn't want to take it out when the night was over! After some weird interaction, they said they would take our party first. They also had us pay up front which made the tipping process weird because I'm tipping on a service I've yet to receive and don't know how good it's going to be. They did the foot massage and it's the first place I've been to where they do not provide a bucket of water first. Instead, they just jumped into it. The massage was ok. My mom had to ask the woman to go softer a couple of times and at the end of the massage the man insults us again by saying how weak my mom is. I had to inform him she has terminal cancer. He seemed to be remorseful but it still didn't lend itself to a good experience overall. Another word of warning, this place is on the second floor of a building with no ADA access. There were a set of steep stairs. We would never have booked this if we had known given my mom used a wheelchair to get most places.

When I turned over, I realized it was a man.......I only go to woman masseuses. I didn't specify that in the beginning of my massage, but at these types of spas it's always women doing it and I've NEVER had the person switch in the middle. Most of my massage was over so I would have minded less except this man had no business doing the massage. He was rubbing the front of my neck and put his fingers in my ear. When I was done and came out, I saw that 2 women masseurs were giving women chair massages and that's why they had left me in the middle of my massage. I had called to make my appointment so this is completely unacceptable. Because of the unprofessionalism, I do NOT recommend this place.
