This massage was much better. When we first got there it was already a soothing environment.we were provided sandals, and we got to check out the meditation garden. For what it is, I'm surprised at how well they use the space and be able to create a serene, calm environment. The Garden was nice and calming. They had a station at the front entrance as well as on the way to the garden where you can have some tea and a light snack of trail mix. Wife and I both chose the Osmosis-fusion massage. The provider who I had, Josh, was great! He asked checked in with me and then I told me if something doesn't work, let him know. He used a good amount of pressure, and started slowly so I can get use to it and I didn't feel tickled at all. Some parts of it did have a lot of pressure where it hurt a bit, but it felt good after. I'm pretty sure he felt me tense to here and there, but Josh was attentive to it and I think when he wanted me to request, instead of talking me, he just took deep breaths and I did it as well and try to stay loose. All in all, it was very enjoyable The tea ceremony was nice, it was a tea with peppermint and some other ingredients, mixed with some enzymes to promote better digestion. They're was a smaller garden outside of the tea room to be able to enjoy as you sip your tea. The cedar bath was great. I had one experience before, but I enjoyed this one better because it also had a view of another garden. The lady who took care of us was attentive as well. The only complaint was there was a fly going around that got kind of annoying, but other then that, the cedar bath was great. All in all, a great experience for me that open my eyes to massages being something I can actually experience.

I love this spa but unfortunately had a poor check in experience when I arrived. I was patiently…read morewaiting in line for the person in front of me to finish checking in at the reception desk. The reception area is very small and the staff definitely made eye contact and noticed me waiting. As she continued to check in the customer in front of me, and I was still waiting a few feet back from the desk, another customer entered the front door. She cut right in front of me, approached the front desk directly and the staff person proceeded to check her in for her facial in front of me. It was a bit upsetting because the staff noticed and went ahead and helped her before me, instead of addressing the behavior of her cutting in front of the line! I found it to be very rude of the customer and poor service by the staff to allow that. It wasn't a great start to my spa day. The cedar enzyme bath is a highlight, so relaxing with the tea ritual, beautiful garden views, and warm heat generated from the wood shavings (cedar, Douglas fir and rice hulls). It is a very unique experience. My only discomfort on this visit was that a fly was buzzing around the room while I was in the bath and kept landing on my face while I was buried and I couldn't wipe or swoosh it away whenever it landed on me. It was uncomfortable and a test of my mind to focus on the bath and not on the fly landing on me repeatedly during the 20 minute experience. I also got a facial on this same visit. Asha was gentle and had good technique. The towels used were a bit rough on my face despite her gentle and soothing touch, likely they need replacing .

My…read moreexperience with Edie and her hydrafacial versus my experience today were as expected, absolutely night and day! There was a hydrafacial representative at the event I got my mini (15 minute) hydrafacial done at today. She confirmed my feelings that A- my experience at wine country day spa did not properly perform the service (I had an excess of product on my skin applied by Edie that prevented the hydrafacial to effectively perform the service) and B- the machine used to perform the hydrafacial was a much older less effective model. I have still gotten zero response from wine country day spa regarding my experience. Customer service should be high up on the list of priorities. Had I gotten a response from Edie regarding my experience maybe she could have made it right but too little too late. I wasted money going here trying to find the best price around. You get what you pay for... Or not in this case because it was still super expensive.

A professional spray tan is nothing like those creams at all. I did my full body and face, and at first I was a little surprised by how my face looked. But later, when I saw a picture of myself, I realized my face was actually the same color as my body now, as I always have sunscreen on my face so it's normally lighter) The tan looked even, natural, and really helped blend strap marks and tan lines. Heidi, the owner, is professional, super friendly, and made the whole process very comfortable. Her shop is clean, bright, and welcoming, with lots of great products. I was so happy with the results that I ended up going home with a tanning mousse too. Such a great first spray tan experience.
