Her appointment was canceled the…read moreday of her scheduled haircut, and there was no prior communication or attempt to reach out beforehand. In response, the owner brought up that I had scheduled and canceled multiple appointments in the past, which is true--but those were made under my account and have nothing to do with my wife's separate appointment under her own account. The two situations are not related, and shifting the focus to my history avoids addressing the actual issue. Looking through other reviews, I've noticed a pattern where negative feedback is either ignored or met with responses that place blame on the customer rather than taking accountability. That's disappointing to see, especially when communication is such a basic expectation for any service.

Unfortunately I made a terrible very expensive mistake. PROS: The woman doing my nails was VERY nice. The place was clean. CONS: The gel fill and gel polish was 75 dollars. My entire life I have never paid more than 45, and I am from New York, the "higher cost of living" state. They don't tell you that gel polish on a gel fill is 35 dollars more, they don't even offer you the option to opt out. They just hand you the gel colors and tell you to pick one, and then horrify you with the price afterwards. My nails are all different lengths, half of them are crooked, curved and bubbled.
