One of the most wonderful and kind people I have ever met. Not to mention, by far the best nail artist. She is booked weeks in advance, and that is for a reason! The quality of the products she uses is the best you can get, the shop is ultra clean, and the cost could not be more affordable! Samantha Owens, who is the lash artist at Talk Of The Town, is the best of the best. She offers premium lash extensions (curled and straight) and charges $60 for fill-ins. I believe the initial cost for the first set is $110.00, but I will update if incorrect. These extensions last on myself for 4 weeks! Impressive, but quality and proper technique go a long way! Talk Of The Town also offers hair cutting and coloring services, waxing, facials, pedicures, skin rejuvenation among many other services. If you live in Polk County, give the salon a call for your next appointment! I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised! I showed Golden the inspiration, and he tried his best. He was wonderful, kind and sweet. Nothing bad to say about him or than the design was not what I wanted at all, the sides were lifting a bit, and he cut 2 fingers. I called and originally just told them the design was messy, because I've been coming there for 10 years! Why explain their other bad services when every other time was fine? They quoted me $25 to fix it. That's when I explained Golden cut me and nails were lifting. They were firm on $25 so I expressed I would leave a review. They called me back and refused to service me. I was on my way already, so when I came in I was recording my interaction. (Everyone does, it's 2026!) I asked her why she was so angry at me and I expressed I've been a loyal customer. I was calm and respectful. She refused to service me. When they treat loyal long term customers like this, I will NEVER recommend this business again. I am hurt and disappointed.
