When we called to book an appointment, the woman on the line said she found my gift card, stated my name and the amount. Then after she saw the purchase date, proceeded to tell my husband that the gift card was "booted" out of the system. How was it booted out of the system when you just pulled it up? So I called, the woman then told me that there is an expiration date on the paper. There was no expiration date. Then she says, oh well in the fine print, it says you can't use it after a year. When I read the fine print, it mentioned that the gift card must be valid for a year from the date of the reopening of the spa due (April 2020) to COVID-19 virus closure. My gift card was purchased in 2022 so I had no idea that applied to this. If there's a one year "policy" the person purchasing the gift card needs to be made aware. Nonetheless, this business is essentially stealing money. Someone paid this business $80, all for nothing. That is stealing, I don't care how you look at it. On top of that, I am looking for a new spa to get massages I would've loved to try this business out to see if I could make it a part of my self care routine. But I will never spend my money here. I write blogs & create content for places people need to try while in Atlanta. I've seen quality customer service, and this place is just not it. If you are a first timer, make sure you come early because there are some paper work they want you to fill out to better serve you. The receptionist was really nice. After I checked in with her, she showed me the bathroom, waited for me, and then showed me the locker room and my robe and slippers. The specialist that did my facial was Dawn. She was very nice and knowledgeable. She asked me some questions to get to know the routine for my face, and then she looked at my skin for my skin type. She did my facial according to my skin type and the needs of my face. She used different products and warm towels to clean my face. When she cleaned my face with the warm towel, she would put pressure on different spots to give me a gentle massage. I really enjoyed this part especially when she put light pressure on my eyes over the warm towel, it felt really good. At one point she gave me a steam treatment and at another point she extracted some of my blackheads. She also massages my upper chest, my arms and my hands. I don't really remember the order because the atmosphere was so relaxing and I was so comfortable that I was in and out of sleep. I will definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a facial that will meet your needs and satisfy your desire to have a relaxing time doing it!

The day before my appointment, I was suddenly told I needed to bring in one of the physical gift cards or I would have to pay the additional balance again. The salon stated they mentioned this over the phone at the time of booking, but I genuinely do not recall being told that. I absolutely would have kept the gift card had I known. More importantly, this requirement was not documented anywhere in writing. It is not in the confirmation email, on the gift card itself, or even in the FAQ of their website for gift cards specifically. I even had a photo of the gift card with the card number, barcode, and the name of the person who purchased it, but they would not accommodate in the slightest or even attempt to scan the barcode from my phone. What bothered me most was the lack of empathy and customer service. Rather than trying to help resolve the situation, I was simply told my options were to either pay or cancel the appointment. The facility itself is feeling outdated. I enjoyed the facial and hair services. The manicure/pedicure were very basic. For the same price, I could have had a more deluxe experience at a regular nail salon. This was supposed to be a very special day for me as a mom of two young kids, celebrating my birthday, and the situation unfortunately put a big damper on the overall experience. She helped me understand what my wife will be experiencing throughout her day. NOTE: This review will be based on my wife's perspective as she went through the entire experience. The check-in process was easy. You sign a waiver and you let Sandra know which essential oils and theme you would like in each room. They provide you a robe to change into as you begin the spa day. You start off in the infrared sauna for 30 min., then a choice of deep tissue or swedish massage, then a body exfoliation/wrap, then you shower off, and then you end with a facial. In summary: PROS: attention to the little details throughout the experience (fresh roses, comfy robes, kind workers); resting area was comfortable with fresh fruit, lemon and mint infused water, and a selection of hot tea; the exfoliation and body wrap done by Sandra were very nice. CONS: the walls were so thin that you could hear conversations in the next room and the lawn maintenance outside (which wasn't a peaceful experience); Sandra had another person conduct the massage and facial (who barely spoke English) - she didn't do everything she said she was going to do in the massage (she was to focus mostly on the upper back area due to more tension being on the upper body, but didn't); also she started massaging the body facing up which lead to very little time on the upper back area; my wife, being the mother of our 3 kids barely gets time to pamper herself and has been hinting at needing a facial for awhile, when then"analysis" was done on her skin, there was a shriek of horror at how her skin looked (which didn't make my wife feel great about herself) and she felt pressured into a $25 up charge. For a total of $350+ for this service, I would rate this experience at 3.5. I trusted that my wife was going to be taken care of, which she was, but it's certainly not worth the price given all the cons.
