The owner speaks English very well. I was in the sauna for a few minutes then moved to a steam room for a little longer and then came time for my scrub. It was efficient and I truly appreciate all the efforts having to remove years of dead skin off my body. This spa is a hidden gem in Fort Lee. My friend books appointments for me when I visit NJ, and I couldn't be more grateful. I now love Spa Dew! I have had a body scrub and a handful of massages, all of which were great experiences. Both Julie and Michelle are excellent at what they do. Jasmine at the front desk is personable and attentive. Jasmine greets me and ushers me to the locker room, where I change into a robe and store my belongings. Then off to the massage room with the lovely Michelle, who does miracles on my body. In all the years I have received massages, I have never had anyone be as accommodating as Michelle is with me. Besides her soothing and caring demeanor, she is strong and knowledgeable. We have great conversations, the times I don't fall asleep. One of the things she does that I greatly appreciate is that she changes the face pillow to a thicker cushion, so I am comfortable lying on my chest. It makes me feel special cause it's not easy lying on my stomach as a big-chested woman. After the massage, there is always the option to use the dry sauna. Offer that I happily take if I have the time. Cozy vibes all over, and everything is tidy and clean. I swear I levitate out of here each time. The place is never packed. Found this little gem of a spa for a Korean body scrub. It was quite a unique experience for me and it was an excellent one. I had a few minutes in a one-person sauna booth while I waited which kept me warm and relaxed. When it was my time, I was shown this wet spa room with tables and showers and a steam room. I sat in the steam room for about 10 minutes and was ushered on to one of the tables. The masseuse pour water all over me and made sure I felt comfortable enough before she started scrubbing. I don't think I'd come back for a massage, but the facials here are absolutely magical! I booked their couples massage package, Dew You Love Me, for my boyfriend and me around Valentine's Day. It's 90 minutes total and includes a steam and shower, body scrub/exfoliation, and a 50-minute massage. As I was paying, they offered me a complementary 50-minute Dew Classic Facial to use within a year, which I used today. The ambiance is top notch. The whole spa is dimly lit with serene and modern decor. As for the employees here, they've all been extremely kind and pleasant, especially the lady at the front desk and the esthetician, Jasmine. 'DEW YOU LOVE ME' EXPERIENCE: Overall, we had a great experience. They provided us with everything we needed such as robes, sandals, and disposable underwear (lol). They even have skin and hair products (spray-on deodorant, hairspray, lotion, etc.) available to use after the treatment. After we were done with our body scrubs, we were escorted to a waiting room filled with fresh strawberries and blueberries, biscotti, champagne, tea, and water. Very classy! When our couples massage room was ready, that's when went a bit downhill. In my past massage experiences, the massage therapists don't enter the room after knocking until you're ready for them to, but one knocked and came in right away even though I wasn't ready. Before they began the massages, I asked my masseuse if she could turn on some music because I find massages more relaxing with music playing, but the language barrier made it difficult for her to understand, so she disregarded my question. At that point, I wish I had music playing to distract me because for the first 10 minutes of our massages, both masseuses kept talking and laughing in a different language. A couple other things: - Both my boyfriend's and my masseuses began our massages face down and with no oil, just massaging through the sheet. I've gone to many different spas and I've always had my massages start face up and they've always just started with massage oil directly on the skin, so this was new to me. - I specified that I prefer deep tissue/pressure, but my masseuse didn't apply enough even though I kept asking her to. Basically, I enjoyed everything except for the thing I should've enjoyed most - the massage. COMPLEMENTARY FACIAL EXPERIENCE: Absolutely phenomenal. The Dew Classic Facial is normally an hour for $70, but since this treatment was complementary, it was only 50 minutes which I didn't mind at all. My esthetician, Jasmine, was amazing and answered all the questions I had about my skin type and skincare routine. She told me that it'd benefit my skin to get an enzyme peel and extraction because I have some acne on my forehead and my forehead pores are extremely clogged. It's part of the Deep Cleansing Facial for $115, so I just splurged the extra $35 to add it on. The extraction was honestly the most painful thing I've ever put my forehead through, lol but it was so worth it. After my facial was finished, I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe how smooth and plump my skin looked. I already scheduled my next Deep Cleansing Facial with Jasmine next month! I went to Spa Dew for an hour facial and was immediately amazed with the customer service and treatment. Both the store owner and facial specialist carefully examined my skin, described to me their plans, and used seriously innovative techniques to treat my damaged skin. While just the experience itself was incredible, their services went far beyond a serene spa atmosphere. The staff gave me really useful tips on sunscreen, face hygiene, and makeup without trying to recommend their own products while making me feel welcome. In terms of results, I was extremely elated. As a student returning to school, my skin, within just a few hours, had lost all its inflammation and cystic spots and began a healing process. This is a great place for the classic East Asian facial experience!! They aren't just going to put a face mask on you and give you a massage, but more DEEP cleaning. My boyfriend surprised me for Valentine's Day with a day at the spa. We arrived by 10:45 to fill out new comers form and our appointment wasn't until 11am. The manager or owner at the front desk was in a rush. Hurry to change, hurry to sauna etc. The experience is about relaxing and not feeling rushed especially when we're paying for a service. I give it 4/5 because of that ... totally understand trying to get all reservations in especially during these times. But, shouldn't take away from a warm welcoming experience. From the beginning they were not warm in their greeting or during the whole process. I come here every month a day before my laser appointment and I can't recommend spa Dew enough. It's private, clean, 30 min drive from the city for me and super accommodating. The staff is professional and well trained. I highly recommend the scrub with honey and milk and cucumbers for your face. Come a bit earlier if you want to spend extra time in the steam room before your treatment. Well it's been several weeks since I was there, but this was my experience: I had the Aqua Peel Facial which involves a machine that is comprable to or "better" than (according to some) the famous Hydrafacial (hydra facial). The machine removes everything from blocked pores, and also boasts all kinds of hydrating serums into the skin. My skin was luminous and revitalized afterwards. For days! The facial includes deep cleaning, exfoliation, massage--the works! Jane was my technician and she was very attentive. Only 4 stars because of this: The thing that was irksome is that it was not a super relaxing spa vibe (and it should be for the nearly $200 price tag). I could hear the spa manager/owner talking loudly (on phone?) outside the door, and when Jane left the room (while I "relaxed" with mask for several minutes, I could again hear a lot of chatter). came here with my mother for us to receive massages & facials as part of my 25th birthday celebration. the staff was very polite, friendly, and helpful. we got the massages first, and they were excellent. i got the warm stone massage, while my mom got the Swedish. the reason i'm detracting 2 stars is because of the facials. we both experienced pain during our facials - it felt like we were being stuck with something sharp. it was very unpleasant and i couldn't wait for it to be over. my face was very red & irritated for the rest of the day. furthermore, it looks like they actually hurt me and drew blood (i took a picture a few days after it scabbed over). if it wasn't for the painful facial, i would definitely give a positive review based on the massages. unfortunately it made a pleasant soothing day turn into an unpleasant one. read more

I came here this past weekend for a couple's massage. The facility is extremely clean and the ladies are very nice. My only mistake was telling my masseuse to use medium pressure instead of harder pressure. Which I will remember next time! I know some people complained about the front lady being "rude" about the tipping. I don't think that is the case...I think its a language barrier issue so it comes across as kinda blunt. I also feel that standard tip for spa services should be 20-30% because I'm sure my masseuse is more exhausted than my waitress/waiter. My boyfriends masseuse was definitely tired lol Sadly, I cannot afford this luxury all the time but I will definitely come back. SO CLEAN AND RELAXED! This was an AMAZING experience! I got the Balinese Spa Package which was a body scrub and a facial. It started with the facial. Everything was very clean and I was very comfortable on the heated bed. My face was scrubbed, cleaned, and she did extractions. Jasmine did my facial and she was excellent. She paid close attention to detail. After the extraction I went into the steam room for the body scrub. It smelled very clean when I walked in. The body scrub was very detailed and really left me feeling smooth. They really do get every little nook and cranny of your body - they're not playing around. It's probably the cleanest I've ever been. Like I can't reach my back...but now someone did it for me! I'm very impressed and feel that I'm going to need to get more of these. Anyway- then you go back to the facial room and finish off with a moisturizer and a COLD face mask to close the pores. My ONLY complaint is that I wish during the facial she told me what she was putting on my face. I kinda knew by the feeling of the products, but it would of been nice to hear "okay first I am starting with a scrub that will take off dead skin." My boyfriend booked a couples massage here and it was a great first experience for myself! I felt totally relieved after the 90 min massage. The massage therapists were wearing masks all the time and they clean everything so I felt safe. The people here are nice and friendly. It's also a very clean establishment. I am only upset because I am in so much pain now. I had to ask my massage therapist to lighten up twice. The massage was so painful and too hard and now my back is completely sore. I wanted to go in for relaxation and a bit of relieving tension but now i feel like i had an elephant walk on my back and the experience was not relaxing in any ways.
