What upset me is not about the price at all. What upset me is the business basically lured customer in with the pricing they have in mind and expected then make them feel like the service that they put on the website is incomplete one. Then she told me ( the front desk I assume the owner) how the rent/ labor/ machine costs so she can't do the price on the website which I found unprofessional, clients come for the service you posted on your own website and then you said the service on it is not good enough and you want to upsell your potential client for more and that's how you'll lose them. ( Or the best way is you can have that pricing for first time customer). Not to mention, the services on the website does not have description or anything. I left and they call to give me better deal but it's already waste my time driving 25 mins there and drive back for nothing. If the service is good and front desk did not upsell me I'd honestly come back bc their pricing chart is reasonable but I don't like feeling like getting scammed for coming for one thing and end up have to purchase extra. So no thank you. I know the business is still new and all but just a month ago someone had same issue with UPSELLING so I guess they don't learn.

But what I didn't like/ appreciate was the lady that did my facial was late about 20-30 minutes. I read other reviews too i guess this is unfortunately a common occurrence. The facial itself was alright, it was mediocre.

After a full day of sport activity at the beach yesterday, my body was in dire need of muscle relief. I walked-in Sunday morning at DWS for a full-body massage. They have different prices starting from $50 (foot massage) to $60 (body; combo) to $70 acupressure. I chose the 1-hour combo with hot stones. I was met by a female manager/owner. I proceeded to one of their dim lit room suite. It was neat with a relaxing atmosphere. My female masseuse (Mary) is exceptionally skilled, and applied the right amount of body pressure. I lay there with oil on my back and she worked on it thoroughly. And I overheard her say "Wow" in a soft voice while rubbing my upper trapezius and latissimus dorsai muscles. I almost fell asleep during the session. The session ended with my body muscles relieved of tension and ache. Staff were nice and welcoming. I tipped my masseuse $20 and thanked the staff. Overall, I had a great massage spa service. I highly recommend DWS.

Went to the location, small parking but it also have street parking. Read the sign, I forgot which day is no parking but found parking pretty easily on the street. Went in and was in a small "room". The ceiling is open so when the workers are talking in Chinese, you can still hear them. It'll be better if they tried to whisper. The massage itself was really good. There was enough pressure and the lady was not just doing whatever to pass the time. Continously massaging in different areas and the not so common areas like between the toes and hands. Docked a star for when I went to pay she said it was $60 for private room and body/foot massage. I was a little surprised as I asked for the price a day before. The sign said $60 i went from the back due to the parking so didn't see it and got out into the room right away. However since I was satisfied with the massage I just let it go

The owner (Lulu) is very accommodating, welcoming, and always makes sure customers feel comfortable. Thomas, the receptionist, is also incredibly friendly. He always gives excellent customer service. I've tried massages from most of the therapists but Mary truly stands out. She is highly skilled, attentive, and knows exactly how to target problem areas. Every session leaves me feeling relaxed and refreshed. I highly recommend Lulu's Relax Day Spa to anyone looking for a great massage experience and outstanding customer service!

I quickly found Lulu relax spa and I appreciate Lulu being very communicative when I requested an appointment as it was my first time, however I quickly realized that I should have went with another spot. The massage was very uncomfortable from the get go because I had an older male masseuse that reeked of cigarettes. I do not want to slander the therapist or business but this was a waste of my time and money. On top of that, he kept coughing and burping throughout my time there. I am a male myself and I have high tolerance for things but I left the session feeling really grossed out, with my whole body and clothes dirty and less relaxed than when I stepped inside. He was kind enough but the massage itself was very formulaic and you could tell he was running through the motions for a pay check. I noticed he didn't even bother to repeat the same motions on both sides of my body and overall he was too rough. I appreciate good pressure but it was borderline painful. Overall, I was too uncomfortable to relax and I still tipped 30% but ultimately I would not come back and could not in good conscience recommend anyone coming here. There are at least 3 better places on las tunas, please consider those instead...

Walking in, the space felt much more like a modern medical clinic than a loud, chaotic beauty parlor. The reception area was quiet and spotless, with framed clinical certificates clearly displayed on the wall. The treatment room was equally reassuring. It was a calm, no-nonsense environment without any pushy sales pitches, which I appreciated. Tbh, the professional setup made me feel very safe.

I've…read moreonly ever had one hydro facial in my life and I remember it being good but I feel like this might be better?? First off, I have severe allergies to propelyne glycol and limonene. Honestly there were so many products and I felt so bad because the ingredients that I'm allergic to are extremely common in products and don't affect most people. I honestly at a certain point was like it's okay just use whatever but my esthetician literally would not let me. She made sure I read every ingredient so I wouldn't have a reaction. She wanted to make sure I was taken care of properly. She was so kind and caring and the whole staff was so friendly and helpful. The hydrofacial itself was so amazing she started off with giving me a massage. It honestly felt like lymphatic drainage for my face because I do gua sha at home. Then she brought out a steam machine and some cold roller thing. And she used a machine that felt like water was squirting into my face with air but my face didn't feel wet. I honestly don't know what was going on. Everything felt so amazing though I felt SO RELAXED. She even did extractions for me on my nose which I have not done in AGES. She said I didn't have acne just blackheads lol. I take that as a compliment to be quite honest. Once it was done my face truly looked FRESH. I was so happy with my results. Then I went to the injection room and got some Botox. They were so quick and it was as painless as Botox could be. Loved my experience here. They legit have everything here it's a one stop shop. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I wish I had more of a neck/shoulder massage as I've received those at other head spas & because my styling of hair was a little frizzy (I think maybe because of my hair type, they weren't used to styling it maybe). Now for the great things about this place! The ladies that helped my boyfriend and I were very kind and gave us both quality service. We both left feeling very satisfied and relaxed. I love that they did several cycles of washing, massaging, rinsing, and repeating on my scalp. Some of the products felt nice and refreshing (maybe tea tree or mint). The seats/beds had massagers built in which was awesome! I hadn't seen that at other spas before! Lastly I wanna mention I found them on Groupon and when I called to see if they had same day availability and mentioned Groupon, they said they could price match in person (assuming since Groupon takes a cut). I appreciated that and was happy to do so! Overall, I'd recommend this head spa (bonus points because the food in the area was GOOD).

I booked a 90 minute experience with Tokyo Hair Washing Spa through ClassPass for 41 credits. Each…read morecredit is between $2-3 depending on which rate plan you're on. This 90 minute is equivalent to their $148 service. I am writing this as someone who has been to many headspa businesses in OC and LA and I usually get the 90 min services. When I arrived I circled the area once to see where the best spot was to park. They had street parking in front of the business but Las Tunas is main street, but I preferred to park on the small street nearby for safety reasons. I came a little early as instructed on ClassPass. They lady told me to sit but then she was distracted with other things. I'm like in that case can I use the restroom? Might as well be productive while I'm waiting for her. They have 1 station in front for the initial scalp exam, 2 head spa beds with curtains as separation, and 2 stations in the back for blow drying. So the 90 min Scalp Spa here comes with a few typos on their menu but it's basically a scalp exam, steam eye mask, scalp clean and relax, hair follicle deep clean, scalp care, hair hydration, hair repair, sleep therapy, nano hair care, light therapy, shoulder/neck tension relief. The thing I like most is the massage from the message bed they use with the treatment. It massages your back, arms, and legs throughout your head spa treatment. The lady was nice... but... rough... Often she would pull on strands of my hair and it would hurt. It might be the type of glove they use because the other head spas use gloves too but it never pulls my hair so painfully. Even with the massage it never hits the right spot. It was one of those treatments where you can't wait for it to be over. Also compared to other similar business types there was no enclosed steam mask and treatment for my hair, and the massage did not go down to the shoulder area. When the wash was over we moved to the chair for blowdrying. Ugh also clumsy with the blow dry. I have really long hair and at times she was just manually section it without clips and hold it up with the other hand and pulled on my hair some more. Sigh. What torture. Compared to similar businesses I did not get a post exam to see how much it improved after. There was no shoulder and neck massage on the chair. My hair was flat and felt ichy and oily. I don't know what she put in my hair but I'm not in a fan. I literally wanted to wash it off. Normally these treatments leave me feeling lush and full of volume, not flat like this. Also not great for any first timers. She didn't really explain anything throughout the process. There was a language barrier, which I don't mind, but you should know the basics for your profession. I liked the massage bed... she was nice... but I did not enjoy the service. There is another similar business a few blocks away that I prefer so I'll stick to Silk Pro Head Spa.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience here last Tuesday afternoon, I cannot recommend…read morethis place at all. I booked a 60-minute deep tissue massage package priced at $60 for member. When I arrived, I clearly told the front desk I was there for deep tissue massage, and they led me straight to a treatment room. Once my therapist came in, I repeated again that I only wanted the standard deep tissue massage, which is the only package they advertise. I never asked for or agreed to any lympha system clean treatment whatsoever. The massage ran for almost 90 minutes total, and I only found out about the billing fraud when I was ready to sign the receipt. They charged me $110 (member price) for a 90-minute lymphatic detox treatment that I never consented to. I immediately brought this mistake up to the front desk staff, who admitted the phone booking staff had incorrectly logged the wrong service into their system. Here's the core issue: this was entirely your employee's careless error during scheduling. Why should a customer be forced to pay extra for your staff's miscommunication and messy booking system? It's completely unfair to shift the blame and extra cost onto your guest when I stated my desired service twice--once to the receptionist, once directly to the massage therapist before the session started. No one checked in with me mid-session to confirm they were switching my treatment or extending the time. There was zero transparent communication about the price change. I left feeling ripped off and disrespected. Poor customer service, careless booking mistakes, and unexpected hidden charges make this place not worth visiting. Save your money and go somewhere that respects clear booking agreements. Their manager should be taking attention to this.
