Mel did a great job with my golden retriever! It was my first time here and I will be back. Prior to the appointment, I told her my pup isn't a fan of the dryer around his head/ears and she used a "happy hoodie" around his ears to help with the sound and she said he did great and it worked very well! I can tell they actually care about the animals at this place. Highly recommend. read more

I have a standard poodle and she loves going here! They remove the hair from her ears, clip her nails and give her the cut we like (she is very active so we forgo the poodle cut and go shorter) she looks like crushed velvet. We can also book extra treatments such as teeth, de-skunking and they have a mobile service. The staff is very friendly and the location is excellent for us. read more

I've never been disappointed in this business. My dogs look beyond amazing after every appointment. Scheduling services is easy and accommodating. Best of all, our dogs don't hate going! read more

We took our two animals in this past weekend to be groomed. One being a part Mainecoon cat. Upon meeting the groomer she asked how i would like it cut around his head and which time I thought we were on the same page as far as trimming around. I NEVER said to cut off his mane. This is his signature statement. When I picked up my cat I swear as God as my witness I didn't recognize him. I cried and cried when I got him home. I am SO damn disappointed in this establishment. read more

They were wonderful to have a fundraiser for domestic violence! Taking in all kinds of dogs they don't usually see. Wonderful right?? Then I find the owner calling me out & berating me over telling someone who asked who my groomer was, and I told them, she had the same breed of dog. I thought over it but then the drama of the owner explaining they've had employees take money from them, the drama of the past employees doing bad things to their company. What was a good way for charity now became abuse of customers. I was there to get a quick wash & help a donation of twice what was expected. I don't know if they're great groomers, they say they're the best, maybe so, but I would not give them my business or help them again. The owner was overreacting, raising his voice, not a way to gain a new customer...... read more

First time customer for our new pup. It was easy to make appointment and very friendly staff. Our little cockapoo got the whole shake down of teeth brushed, nails clipped, haircut and even got a nice tie to take home. Price seemed to be in line with others we called, but the service was too notch. We will be back again soon. read more

Could have been better the last two grooming sessions. Gave him a nice bath and did great on his feet, but it was over priced around $65 for just a foot groom and bath. They said they cleaned up his tail, but it looks exactly the same. I was told this was the standard service, when they said they would clean up his shag on his hind quarters for me. The previous time they cut his toe badly. So fool me twice, shame on me. read more

Love this place! I've had my doodle, Khaleesi, groomed by Andrew twice now. Both times I've been very impressed by his confident and kind handling of her since she can be tough. And Khaleesi always looks beautiful when she leaves too! He does a stellar job listening to exactly what owners want. I know we will see him from now on. No one there ever seems inpatient or rushy either. They have coupons in their app which is awesome! Love Andrew and this salon! I super highly recommend checking it out! read more

I have taken my dog to Spa 4 Paws a few times. However, this last time I took him, I had to turn around and bring him back to show them the disappointing hair cut. The owner was out of town so, her husband said he would talk to her about it and call me back the next day. I was the one to reach out to them two days later and the owners husband said he was sorry if he was supposed to call me back and his wife said they would give me a discount on my next appointment. I told him that this was the hair cut I wanted the discount on since this was the hair cut that was messed up not my next visit do, I will not be going back. He said okay thank you. I like to support local businesses but, not when they ask you what would make me happy and then they don't follow through. Very heartbreaking!!!! read more

I was extremely displeased with mine and my husbands experience at this establishment. If I could give zero stars I would. I made a call to make an appointment and spoke to a younger girl. I told her what I was looking for, and she proceeded to ask her SUPERVISOR for approval of rates and times. We finally decided on the date, time and work that would be done on my dog. My husband brought our dog in, and the lady was very rude to him saying what we talked about on the phone was false. And that they could not do the services they promised. My husband said the lady at the front desk was so rude and made him very angry. As he had our Great Pyrenees puppy in the lobby there and she needed a grooming. Needless to say he left furious and we will NEVER go back there again. I would not recommend this dog groomer to anyone as they are not honest with their prices and services over the phone, and also are not friendly. And we never got a call for an apology for the poor customer service. read more

Whatever you do please please don't bring your fur baby to this hell hole!! I tried this place and not only did they clip my babies nail so short that it bled but on the 4th day after they had him my healthy beautiful baby boy who was only 6 years old and well taken care of passed away from the stress and trauma they put him through!!! What a horrible thing to come home and find our baby dead and the vet said because of the stress they put him through that his tummy flipped and caused him to die!!! I will be seeking answers and hopefully protect anyone else's baby from going though this and protect the family from the trama and loss of such precious souls!!! read more

We've been bringing our baby girls to Spa 4 Paws for years. April, Heather and the gang have all had a chance to pamper our Malteses. Our Annie has come out with highlights, pigtails, ponytail or just plain trimmed up and precious smelling. Making appointments in a breeze and service is always friendly and competent. With the current pandemic, Spa 4 Paws has taken all the recommended precautions to ensure health & safety. Hair appointments are stressful to my baby but at Spa 4 Paws, they're a bit less so. The staff seems to really enjoy caring for their 4-legged clients. read more

Just picked my two dogs up from here not too long ago, just for a regular groom and de-shed! They look amazing, sooo fluffy and soft!! They trimmed their feet super evenly as well as their feathers. I'm always a little wary about where I get my dogs groomed, having worked in a building with a less than desirable groomer before. I'm happy to say our dogs didn't come out seeming rattled, nervous or stressed at all. Super happy with this experience and looking forward to trying the mobile grooming when we move to our house from our apartment! read more

I never leave reviews, especially bad ones, but feel like I should this time. My dog, like many others, is absolutely terrified of the groomers, and also has severe separation anxiety from his past. While a staff member was taking him back, I heard her scream at him for trying to get back to me. (I should've taken him back then, but convinced myself that maybe I misheard.) When I picked him up, he had bleeding toenails and was absolutely terrified. The person checking me out was very nice but said they didn't finish the job because he tried to bite them. My dog had been going to a couple groomers in Denver for years and has never once tried to bite anyone in his life, and all his previous groomers have said he's calmed down almost immediately after I left, so for him to try to bite someone, he must've felt incredibly threatened. I haven't taken him back to any groomer since because he's been so scared. Would not recommend anyone going here. read more

I've been taking my dog here for a while but I've seen the quality of their work take a turn for the worst. Last time, she came home with two toenails cracked up to the base. This time, she came home with toenails BLEEDING. I called immediately and the manager April made up an excuse saying that was caused by the pavement outside and not their fault. Yeah, right - why didn't her toenails bleed all the other times I picked her up then, or all the time for that matter? That makes no sense. In person, she yelled at me because she was unwilling to accept the negative feedback, despite photos showing blood and a clear slice from nail clippers. She brought me into the dimly lit back room where they groom all the dogs, which I found unprofessional, to harass me some more and try to convince me I was "lying" about the blood, grabbing my dog's injured foot repeatedly and carelessly. Which made it obvious how careless they truly are, you couldn't see much of anything in that lighting. Getting home again, there was still blood and an open area of her cuticle, which I've photographed. Would've appreciated if they at least accepted some responsibility and admitted they messed up. Just lost a repeat customer and I've let all my friends know not to come back to Spa 4 Paws. April is unprofessional and extremely fast to anger, which is dangerous running a business concerning living things. read more

I took my rescue dog there today for a nail trim. My dog was fearful and resisted going into the back room. The employee immediately grabbed her by the leash and literally dragged my dog's body across their dirty floor. I told her my dog was a recue and fearful and that perhaps I should go with them. She snapped at me and said no you cannot come back here. I paid $15 for this rude treatment. This was my first and will be my last visit. Take your money elsewhere! read more

I had been bringing my dog here for the past year with mostly good results. However yesterday was a different story. When I returned to pick up my dog, he was unrecognizable. Totally sheared! I had asked the groomer to keep as much hair as possible. He did have some matting. I know it's faster to just buzz all the hair off, but for the cost ($75 before tip) you think they could try and accommodate the owner's wishes. read more

Beware of deceptive pricing!!! The first time I went here I was very impressed. The price was great and my long haired dog looked great and didn't seem too traumatized when I picked her up. The staff was extremely friendly. My second time however, was a whole different story. The staff was rude and short with me when I dropped my dog off, but the real problem came when I went to pick her up. When I came back they informed me that their computer system is down and that we would need to "estimate" the price because they could not see what I paid the last time I was in. I told them I believed I payed around 50 last time without a tip, they told me that seemed much too low and charged me about $15 more but assured me that if they over charged me they would give me the difference on a credit. In addition to this my dog was still significantly damp and left everything she touched smelling of wet dog. Well two days passed and I checked my bank statement, and I HAD in fact payed $50 last time but had heard nothing from them so I called. After being put on hold three times I was told I was charged more because my dog had required "extra brushing" that they had failed to inform me of before. and thus my charge was $15 more. I personally feel like I got scammed. I think they figured they already had my money, might as well make up why it was more and keep the extra. While my first experience was great, I don't think I will be going here again, and I warn other pet parents to be vigilant as well. read more

Best Grooming in Fort Collins! This facility and their staff have gone above and beyond to help both my Neapolitan Mastiff and my Pitbull. They use quality products, are well trained, and I feel blessed I found them! The owner April and her entire staff are very friendly, and you can tell they love what they do! Also asked them about their micro bubbling services! I have paired them with the medicated bath and had phenomenal results! read more

April & Co groomed my shih tzu for several years. He was a jerk, but he was my jerk. April & Heather were so patient with him, which I really appreciated, as he was not a big fan of anyone who was not family. And the always made him look beautiful and he got a treat. I also purchase my pet food there and the funds go to the pet food pantry. And it is very high quality food. The also provide pet food to the homeless, fixed limited income, etc. They do a great job on my husband's neurotic cattle dog's nails. read more

We would give this place 10 stars if we could. Great experience and we appreciate their amazing talent. Extremely horrible customer service, they were very rude and they had the audacity to mock another customer right in front of me when the other customer had left. Several razor burns on my dogs and quoted me at maximum $50 and even said it will probably be lower than that. I got charged $65 and did not even tell me that there would be a fee to use a credit card. Also a small thing to point out is that they made me pay before I could even see my dogs which I thought was odd. The complete and utter lack of transparency is disgusting along with the rude service is why I gave this a one star. read more

Amazing people and service, we have big friendly dogs and one blows his fur coat every summer. Most places turn us down, from all the fur he sheds it goes everywhere. When we get him back it's like a show dog. Highly recommend! read more

I liked them the first time I got my dogs groomed. However I found their pricing deceptive. I was charged the same for a pug and a poodle. Now the reason I will not go back is the second time I took my poodle in they cut his dew claw really bad. They didn't even let me know when I picked him up. I only realized it because there was blood all over my couch and bed. This is inexcusable! Another issue I had was that they charged me a convenience fee for using my debit card. I was not told about this until after my card was scanned. read more

I have used this place a few times. The first time I came here was the best and every time since it has been a less enjoyable experience. I dropped my dog off just to get a bath because she has allergies. They told me $20 but when I went to pick up my dog they ran my card and said it was $45. When they brought my dog out she has been completely shaved! She is a long haired schnoodle and now the poor thing is going to freeze. It's 37 degrees outside. I will never be back to this place again. read more

I will NEVER bring my fogs there again. This place hurt my dogs teeth by breaking two of her teeth and we called to let them know and they never did anything or get back to us just lied and said I never called when I did and talked to someone. There prices went up then we had to bring our poodle back in because they didn't clean her ears and we dropped her off and got in my car to wait and we heard her yelp and cry really loud and we went back in to get her we asked if that yelping was her and they lied to us and said no when we know it was our dog and they have powder to put in the dogs ear so it doesn't hurt the dog but they didn't use it and seemed put out that we had to bring her back to fix something that should've been done in the first place. My dogs where hurt and treated badly there and I'll never bring them back they lie and don't know what there doing at all. read more

The crew at Spa 4 Paws have been great with all 4 of our dogs. One of our dogs has severe separation anxiety but is always happy to have her bath and get groomed and doesn't cry when we leave her. Their communication is outstanding with us! I also praise them for helping families in need with their pets. They have a pet pantry that gives food to families who may not be able to afford the food. With a small donation they are able to feed their pets high quality food. Pets are family too! Good to see they help with something like that! read more

Prices are raised the next time you come in, poor service and very rude. Dog was not dry and harassed me for complaining. Do not recommend.

This place is awesome!! I have a standard poodle who needs grooming every 6 weeks! Kelsey grooms her and she always looks beautiful!! She doesn't spend any time in a drying kennel!! She also walks right back with Kelsey (she doesn't do with just any one!) and she is very quick for a poodle her size, only about 2.5 hours and she always looks beautiful!! She also understands my dogs neck pain and takes care of her so she doesn't have a sore neck the next day! read more
