The first communication was positive when Michelle called to change my apt time. I had booked an…read moreapt online through her website https://booking.moego.pet/?name=AussieampFriendsMobileDogGrooming Ibooked a "Bath" Giant for $115 Unfortunately from there it got worse. She texted me to let me know she'd be late and was 23 minutes late. I had discussed on the phone when I made she had called to change my apt time that our dog had matting in a few spots and we were overdue by 2 months on grooming bc our groomer had moved and we were in the process of finding a new one. When she got to our house she felt him and looked at him and agreed there was matting and she may need to cut some of them out, which I agreed would be fine. 15 min later she called me to say she would need to shave his hind end, and chest but would leave the back and rest. She did not mention that this would add time or costs. The apt time ran over by 45 minutes. When my dog came out he was fully shaved head to toe. Michelle said he had the worst matting she had ever seen, which I disagree with. We've had him brushed out many times with matting and the other groomer normally cuts out what she needs to. Michelle then tried to Up charge me $100 for her extra hour of time. (Which was only 45 minutes). I didn't know she was doing a full body shave. She didn't tell me she would be charging more before hand, and when I tried to ask why, knowing that the service I requested and booked cost $115 on her website, she told me that her costs online didn't apply to my dog. Those prices were for different breeds like labs. Since the website didn't state that information, and she didn't explain that before hand, how was I to know?? She said "usually it would be $200 but it'll be $300 for my extra hour." ($100 for her extra time). I've never been charged so much for our dog before. I tried to ask her why the prices online didn't apply and why she wouldn't have mentioned that before hand when I booked the apt and she immediately cut me off and said, "I'm not doing this, if you don't give me my money now, I'll call the cops." It was very aggressive and unprofessional. She wouldn't discuss the pricing at all. I was in total shock and disappointed in how she handled having a conversation. We won't ever use her again and I would not recommend her to anyone. I feel like Michele was scamming us and knew if she told us that the matting was bad it made her look like she deserved the upsurd amount she wanted to charge us.

She always helps me out with a quick appointment for them and let's me know what she finds (fleas/ticks; small growths, other issues, etc). She is thorough and willing to take on challenging dogs. She never offered an apology for any of it though, basically just said she wasn't responsible because she didn't talk to either of us and she doesn't know why the estimates were so wrong.

While we were out in Fort Collins, we figured to grab new things for the hellhounds at The Mausoleum. This place had some good rolled cheeks for a reasonable price, and it is their favorite. We also found a few decently durable toys with ropes in them so the barking dorks at home think their new toys aren't detroyed seconds after they get them. Some prices are a bit high, though, even for this goblin. All in all; Decent place to hit up.

The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of their tub set up. Some suggestions: They don't have any mats on the floors of their tubs for older/arthritic pets. It's just straight stainless steel. On that's same note, the hose head is tiny and VERY hard to press. It resembles a side sprayer from a sink. It took a very long time to wet my large breed, long haired dog and I was getting thumb cramps constantly from having to hold down the lever on the "side sprayer" head. I'm sure this can get painful for anyone with arthritis. I feel like if they changed to a different hose head, pets would get bathed quicker since there would be more coverage than the current head they have on the hose. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this facility, if they make these small changes/adjustments I can only imagine how much more business they would get !
