I went back to my car, authorized it, came back in, and it declined AGAIN because I forgot to unlock my card. I was so frustrated and embarrassed, but JoJo never once got annoyed. He was patient, respectful, and understanding the whole time. Then he even came running outside when he noticed I was about to drive off with the gas pump still in my car! Mobil Gas Station is on the corner of 8th & University Avenue in Berkeley. One cannot miss the gas station, traveling on University toward San Pablo Avenue. Entering the gas station is relatively easy; however, exiting to the main thoroughfare can be slightly problematic - heavy traffic. The gas station accepts credit cards, even Discover card. It has an ATM machine in front and a mini mart inside. I got a good deal on a 16.9 ounce of bottled water. It was only $1.00. The mart also has the usual snacks, chips, candy, cold beverages and hot coffee. Female employee was not too engaging in conversation, but at least she was courteous.
